60% G putting a good show together

Pod has actually turned out decently. Not as good as Around, but still pretty good. Both Gregg and Jourdan Rodrigue are sharp football minds, so I appreciate their analysis.

Love the show and Gregg. I was he was less off a patriot homer but he is who he is.

I wonder if the high ratings of this podcast are all outdated from around the NFL days. Show is generic, lifeless and like 1000 other football podcast out there.

Great show, content is great, insight is great. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! If I ask Siri to fast forward 2 min and I’m still in ads, 4 times an episode!!?!?! There’s so many ads. If it wasn’t for the fast forward button I’d drop the show completely. It’s still very annoying

This podcast has BY FAR the most ads of any podcast I have ever heard (over 3 mins per ad break). I love Gregg and it’s a fun show but man, the NFL/NFL Media never ceases to show us it’s a greedy corporate behemoth. A normal amount of ads and this is a 5 star show.

My goodness, finally a co-host to a NFL podcast who is capable of forming an interesting and insightful discussion … her question to Luke Kuechly at the end o f that interview, about the impact on his career on his ability to fly-fish… omg, there’s hope of talking to athletes like they’re human!

1. Repeatedly asking your guests to explain stuff to the listeners and referring to your listeners in a derogatory manner as if they aren’t listening is embarrassingly awful podcasting. Stop breaking the 3rd wall. 2. The over the top flattery of guests is uncomfortable not just for the guests, but also for the listeners. It comes across as disingenuous and lacks authenticity which undermines your credibility. 3. Less is more. It’s okay to acknowledge social issues. Keep it simple and direct. The perseveration on the topics is performative and counterproductive to your goal.

I’ve been listening since this show started, and it’s a great show. Gregg is an awesome host who knows ball. I appreciate how up to date he keeps the show. Nick Shook is the best weekly guest. The only reason I rate 4 stars is because Patrick Claybon’s (who I do like) liberal comments every show he’s on are slightly annoying, and Jourdan just straight up bullies Gregg every show. Thanks Gregg for the daily show, keep up the great work!

Greg agrees with everything any co-host says, which is not good for true football banter. Even different point of views is more engaging. I never listen when the female co-host are on, to be honest they are annoying.

Whoever the female co-host you have on your show is atrocious and annoying. I had to unsubscribe it was so bad.

I especially enjoy when Jourdan Rodrigue is on the show. She adds energy and humor to the shows. Plus she is very knowledgeable. Also enjoyed JJ Jansen. He is very articulate, knowledgeable and fun.

Anyone that ranks Aaron Rogers ahead of Drew Brees, well.. I just can’t take seriously as an analyst for NFL football. Take another look. Pick your stat. Talk to team mates of his. Let the man crush go and it’s Drew easily.

This podcast has so little to offer. There is talent, but, the NFL loves to stifle talent, true thought, and anything authentic.

I’m happy that I found this show. They really do a good job of going beyond headlines. The host and guests do a great job of being informative without a display of ego. This is a great way to escape real life.

Greg sounds like he inhaled a lot of helium . He’s hard to listen to. I don’t like any of the hosts, though . Too much nonsense

Entertaining if you’re looking for nfl content. Not very interesting analysis, not up to par with ATN. Heed the Call is better, not Gregg’s fault the NFL just shouldn’t have let Dan and Marc go.

I can’t be objective about this show anymore. I trust Gregg to be consistently entertaining and interesting and … honest .. and caring about people, that I would listen to whatever comes on. (Same goes for Jourdan.) I’m pretty addicted. I’m embarrassed to say how much I refresh in anticipation of the show dropping. Grateful it’s daily.

How can you justify putting Devante Adam’s ahead of Mike Evans and say he has it and Mike is old and barely has it. They were drafted the same year, Mike beats him in Every category AND he’s 6 months YOUNGER. Y’all are nuts and you need to apologize and retract this and explain yourself.

Solid enough but the same lame jokes about the bengals is so tiring. Jordan is the worst about this she’s so condescending about this team I hate when she talks about them.

Editing my previous review I really like Gregg, loved ATN, don’t mind NFL Daily or HTC. Annoyed to hear a different podcast when trying to listen to NFL Dailey, feels like a bait and switch, Lots to Say with Matt Casey and Bobby Bones? That’s not what I signed up for. Old review for ATN: Chris Wesseling - Forever 5-Stars My heart goes out to all of you and Lakisha and Linc. Chris was a stud and I loved listening to him on the show. I teared up upon hearing of his passing, he(like all of you) has touched some many.

Gregg with three G’s helms a solid pod in the wake of greatness from the Around the NFL show. He consistently brings fresh ideas, solid segments, and excellent guests to hit the major news items in the NFL with an offbeat energy and whit.

The show is pretty good! I didn’t like the rebrand at first but have warmed up to it. Gregg can be a little overwhelming and jumpy but they come up with good ideas for shows.

Following the previous ATN podcast dissolution, I gave HTC and this show a shot. It is very safe to say this is the superior show. The politics of the show are much more palatable and it is REFRESHING and welcomed to have Colleen and Jourdan so involved. Their depth of knowledge and personal love of the game are clear and complimentary to Gregg. Also love the recurring band of other guests. What an incredible show!

Why do we need statements about how you feel about the Eagles going to the White House in a draft recap episode?

Why did the NFL decide to rebrand a great podcast and fire the two best hosts? Gregg was always the weak link he steps on bits and has a grating voice… Still true, just listened to Greg on another podcast to and it was extremely off putting

Wow, AFC post draft review comes with cursing woman. And just got unfollowed. There was no need for that.

The political takes Patrick Clayton mostly has input into the show is just annoying. Saying it was “extremely disappointing and Saquon is on the wrong side of history” for going to the White House is wild to say. A player who has probably dreamed of winning a Super Bowl since he was a kid gets the opportunity to go and that’s such a “poor decision”. This was just his most recent example and turned it off after he said it. I typically turn off the shows with Patrick on it.

I really wanted it love it for Gregg, I really did but it just falls flat. Pretty much just the run of the mill football podcast. Informative but not fun and pretty boring

I like Gregg, but I’m never gonna listen to his podcast. I tried listening when Dan and Mark left and it was just lacking that X factor funny sports news with a touch of merth. I really hope that someday Gregg chooses to join heed the call along with nick Wessling. That would be my biggest podcast fantasy.

I enjoy listening to this show. I wouldn’t call the show nerdy but it def lacks a masculine perspective. The opinions are well thought out and plausible. My biggest gripe is how the guests are treated. Treat them like people. The sucking up comes off as extremely inauthentic and I get second hand embarrassment listening. This program has a chat gpt vibe that’s been told don’t offend anyone ever! Would get a lot more content if Jourdan didn’t spend the first 15 of every interview question uncomfortably flattering the guest. Celebs are people too would be my advice.

I love you Greg on JRVP and I love your football takes. Listening is a very easy decision to do. Fun and entertaining Footbal podcast.

Perhaps if the simpering morons who cover this game would stop orally servicing Patrick Mahomes and actually call out the absurdity of the officiating advantage the Chiefs have, something might change. Grow a spine, wankers.
