Show has gone downhill
Update: I feel the show has gotten a bit more stability but the adds are just killer. A 12-15 min show doesn’t need 3-4 AD breaks.
This show was a must listen for me for years. Since the regular hosts have left beginning with Chris Hill it has become awful. The analysts definitely can’t be the hosts regularly. Still tune in once in a while hoping it would get better. Sadly it has not.

Lack of insight
Fool pods just don’t convey very actionable insights compared to other podcasts like ProfG and now even Perplexity finance.

Shut the hell up about AI
Isn’t there anything else to talk about? Used to love this podcast but so lame talking about AI. All. The. Time.
Let it go guys.

Political
You have to listen to a lot of content to get actually good tips on a stock.
Disappointed by the political nature of a recent podcast, where the host got dramatic about his rising gas prices, on March 6! Here in New Jersey, even as of March 10 the prices have hardly risen.

Great show and content but…
Stop talking about Mercado Libre…. Find a new stock already!!

Hmmm
Didn’t really learn anything bro. Expect a higher level of insight.

Bro is the man!
I’ve been listening to the podcast for years and I’ve learned tremendous amounts from many hosts. I Especially enjoy Robert Brokamps Saturday shows that are filled with relevant planning info for retirees such as myself. Thank you to the entire team for the amazing work you do on this podcast. It’s made a huge difference in my financial success.

Focus on index funds
Most would be better off not pursuing individual stocks. Recommendation for Square CEO was stunning. But not in a good way.

Good listening
Interesting and informative as a supplement to learning how to invest and manage finances

Ok, they’re in love with Spotify
I agree with some of the other reviews ever since the departure of Chris Hill and the elimination of the other pods (industry focus, personal finance) that it’s declined quite a bit. The Motley Fool has a financial agreement with Spotify so I can’t really rely when they discuss this company. I would say certain guests and analysts are good (Moser, Bro). But wish it had a steady good host.

Show has dropped off
I used to be an avid listener. Several years I would listen over 1,000 hours. After Chris Hill left the show seemed to search for its identity. Ricky Mulvey did a great job at continuing the legacy from Chris but having his own unique voice and style. Since Ricky left, the show has degraded to a low C-tier show opting for shorter surface level segments, lack of personality, and poor production quality. I tune in occasionally to see if anything has improved and as of 10/28/25 it’s safe to say it has not and is showing no instance of improving. A once great show is no more.

Show has fallen off
I’ve been following this show for years and it used to be great. Chris Hill was a fantastic host that kept me engaged. Now it’s a carousel of personalities and hosts. Some of which are borderline unlistenable (Jim Gillies). Jason Moser and Bill Mann are the only bright spots left. In general the analysis is first layer and overall the topics are not engaging whatsoever.

Mediocre, mostly irrelevent
The descent in quality in this show is breathtaking. For well over a decade Motley Fool Money was on the short list of the most relevant investing podcasts in America. Now? It's like someone picks the topics a week in advance and sticks to them regardless of the news. While investors were on edge due to the government shutdown, whoever has the final say on this podcast decided it was a good time to talk about Asian food chains and agentic shopping. (Yes, really.) Save your time, listen to shows that actually care about the audience rather than self-indulgence.

It used to be better
I hate when I pick on the handicapped, but Robert Brokamp is unlistenable. The vocal fry is approaching RFK jr. in how you should go away and stop bothering people.
A 2 because the content is worthy. What happened to Ricky Mulvey (if I have the name right).

Tough listen
Used to be great but like many things these days they went Woke and went Broke!

Please stop with the lame puns
The writing on recent shows sounds like it’s AI generated. While the puns and rhymes are cute, it’s tiring after more than a minute. Please just talk like a normal person.

I’m not sure what happened. All the regular hosts left and the analysis has gone downhill.

Used to be good
*** update ***
Still waiting for this show to not be terrible what the heck is happening over there get it together!
This podcast used to be my go-to. Now every time I try to get back into it something turns me off within the first 10 minutes. I give up, I don’t know why it went to downhill but it used to be so good and informative and ever since Chris Hill left it feels like a never ending audition process for a replacement MC that just leaves me cringing. Most of the personalities are terrible and lack interview skills. Please just go back to some form of what you used to do, the deep dives in industry focus with Emily Flippen for example were my favorite. For now I’ll just unsubscribe and I’ll check back in later.

No longer recognizable
This used to be my favorite podcast—I never missed a M-F episode. It started going downhill after Chris Hill left, and now Dylan Lewis is gone too. Are Tuesday segments with Bro gone as well? Sad. Ricky Mulvey might be the only solid host left. I always skip the weekend episodes. The 6/11/2025 show was one of the worst yet; Rookie host, poor audio, and a lackluster way of discussing businesses.
Suggestion: let Moser and Frankel cook. Bill Mann, Gillies, and others are cool too.
Update: Monday’s show on 6/23/25 was excellent. Awesome format. Great rundown of headlines. The host and 2 guests were solid. Ads were fine. Audio quality was good. Keep it like this!

Most people agree that spending is high, but did you guys discuss the spending insanity when the government was ruled by the dems? The OBBB is slowing spending by ~$1.6-8 trillion, rescissions will cut spending using DOGE findings. We shall see what happens.

Spiffy Pop!
Hey guys, I just listened to your Cava episode, and you mentioned the way-back origin of the term Spiffy Pop. But wait— what IS the origin?? I’m not sure you had that info at your fingertips so let me share this. David G had conceived of naming this rare stock-price event, and held a contest among Rule Breakers members (if I remember correctly) to give it a name. “Spiffy Pop” was the winner, chosen by David and submitted by: me! I believe I received a free additional year of membership as the prize! Yaaay!!
Best wishes,
Super-long-time-Fool

Loss of quality
Over the past year, the quality of the show has gone down dramatically. With all the different hosts, the show has varying times and formats. A lot of the people hosting should not be a host because their voice is kind of annoying and or they don’t know how to run a show. One of the main reasons I have a membership at Motley fool is because I liked listening to these shows in combination with the member benefits.

Wokeness Creeping In
I used to look forward to listen every day. Now the episodes are piling up in my queue. The shows used to be apolitical. Lately the hosts’ political leanings are influence some of the shows.

Matt’s mic rattling - very annoying
Matt - can you check your microphone? when Matt speaks, there is always this rattling sound. Definitely not my speakers as I hear it on all my devices.

Gonna miss Dylan
Sad to hear that Dylan is leaving the show. He was one of the better hosts. Seems like the Fool is downsizing since Dylan didn’t say he was moving to a new gig. Best wishes to Dylan!

Great investing podcast!
Impossible to avoid the impact of politics these days with the way they are affecting the macroeconomic environment in which business, especially those in US, exist. Motley Fool hosts have a variety of positions, but they are no ideologues. Appreciate the viewpoints they provide. Finally, the selection of bumper music is occasionally so on point as to make one's heart melt. Well done.

Terrible timing .. fools for real!
They come out talking about how pessimistic they are and no way they can get these trade deals done.. meanwhile on X Trump announces trade deal with China. Blinded by TDS

Too political
Talk about stocks and not about politics

Tuesday shows with Allison and Bro were the best
Tuesday shows with Allison and Bro were the best. With Allison leaving I hope MF can still do weekly shows with Bro. Maybe a full half hour

Going Downhill
I have been a faithful listener for many years but just can’t take the constant virtue signaling about how scary the world is now and how we need to reset. Just say you hate the current administration and be honest.

Great investment ideas and stories
Love the podcast, investment ideas and how to look at a company. Makes investing not easy, but doable if you understand the right valuation metrics for the type of company your looking at.
But for the love of everything, please stop running outro music of the last minute+ of interviews/segments… very annoying

Seemingly zero discernment on AI
The hosts are cheerleaders for AI, and the sense is that there is no critical thinking involved. Heck, one of their recent expert interviews featured a professor who struggled to remember the correct order to the letters "GPT" in chat gpt. That's sloppy, and it's obvious. I have to wonder what's not obvious, but is also creeping into the advice and insights provided.

Some incorrect info 1/17/25
Incorrect information at the beginning of the January 17, 2025 episode! It was said that because of national security the Supreme Court could and did override the First Amendment but this is NOT correct. The Supreme Court did not reach the merits of the First Amendment claims because they ruled that foreign governments don't have invincible First Amendment rights. BIG DIFFERENCE! The Supreme Court ***did not overrule the First Amendment*** Source: I'm a paralegal in DC that worked on several drafts of the "Tik Tok" law.

Why is this woman’s voice on air?
Please keep the woman who has the fake raspy whisper voice and uses every jargon term in the book off the air. I hate to be so critical but I love the show otherwise. Her tone is so condescending. Why does she speak like we are all so ignorant? Does she have an actual personality or just this fake radio one?

“No one understands tariffs”
On the Nov 8 show (The Fed, The Election, and What’s Next) one of the hosts said—direct quote—“No one understands tariffs. I can’t explain them.” WTH?? Everyone from expert economists to novice investors like me understands that tariffs are taxes on imported goods that create higher prices.
That’s the moment this show lost all credibility for me. If they can’t explain such a simple concept, how can I trust anything they say?

No subject matter experts
Their analysts go beyond their knowledge. When they talk about tech and AI they have little knowledge. How about staying with the company performances.

10/31/24 Episode with Larry The Werewolf
LOL… what the heck was that??
I knew Ricky was in trouble when Larry kept calling him “Mr. Mulvey” Ha!

Elon meat riders
They worship this guy and never talk about all his failed promises and stuff he said would happen that never did. They give him far too much credit

Flipped off
Please never have Emily Flippen on the show again. She is straight word salad and the worst additional input consistently.

This is what I have been looking for as a business school student. Straight to the point, educative, informative, fact based business podcast.

The Best
I came across this show more than three years ago, and since then I haven't missed even a single episode. Ricky Mulvey, Dylan Lewis and Mary Long are amazing hosts and they bring in experts from both within and outside of Motley Fool. It will be too much bragging if I talk about the details of how this show converted me to a great investor, in spite of not having any finance background. My sincere thanks to everyone from Motley Fool.

Big shoes have been filled.
I really enjoy Motley Fool Money. When Ricky asked for reviews in the episode from 9-12-24 I am happy to oblige. Ricky, Dillon, and Mary had big shoes to fill to take over for Chris Hill. Chris set a high bar and they have managed to get to it and in some episodes they even clear it. I listen while training bird dogs or cleaning kennels. Sometimes I’m out checking our cattle or working on equipment, and I’ll listen then. I can’t remember missing a show in a very long time. If it’s a particularly interesting topic with details the back button can be quite handy👏. Unlike many Motley Fool members I haven’t had great luck with their stock recommendations but none the less I’m always searching for better ways to become a smarter investor. I have used several premium services in the past, but now I’m only a subscriber to Stock Advisor 🇺🇸 and Hidden Gems Canada 🇨🇦 . 🍁 Motley Fool Money is informative, entertaining, and sometimes it even has that hidden witty humor many people enjoy, including me. The guests they book are generally very enjoyable and informative to listen too. My favorites include Jim Gilles, Bill Mann, Matt Argisinger, and old school Ron Gross there are others that do an excellent job contributing as well. Follow the show and get 20-40 minutes of entertainment and information about investing and general money management everyday. Keep up the good work all!

One of my favorites
Motley Fool Money is one of my favorite podcasts. I look forward to listening to it daily, usually on my way home from work, but really whenever I can fit it in. It’s just the right length. I appreciate being kept up-to-date with investment news. I enjoy the variety of guests and their candid responses, including when they’ve made mistakes. The hosts do a great job. I especially enjoy Tuesday episodes with Robert Brokamp and the Friday week wrap-up shows when a couple of stock ideas are shared. Bill Mann, Ron Gross, Emily Flippen, Asit Sharma and the Canadian, Jim Gillies are some of my favs.

Great investment show!
Wonderful show with down-to-earth hosts and objective advices. I love to listen to this podcast when I’m doing my chores. It saves me a lot of time in keeping up the news and researches to manage my portfolio.

Ruined by ads
You’ve just lost another long-time listener.
I’ve been a daily/weekly listener since 2018, and have really enjoyed the knowledge and entertainment that this show delivers week after week. That said, this show has been thoroughly ruined by ads. The bad “Range Rover Sport” ads should have been a warning of things to come, because the latest round of random ads have made this show completely unlistenable. I though the show had managed to recover after Chris Hill left, but it’s reached a new all-time low. How many future paid Motley Fool members are you losing in exchange for a few ads? You’ve just lost another one.
