I like the topics and production quality but do not appreciate the 10 min ad breaks. Way too much for me to want to listen.

Five stars. I don’t even like true crime but this show is awesome and alaina and ash are queens.

You guys literally make me feel like I have 2 besties with me wherever I go talking in my ears. they are SO funny! One minute I will be cooking dinner calmly, the next literally dying and sharting my pants the next with my husband side eying me confused. YALL ARE THE BEST YEEEEE!!!!

I have been loving the pod for years & am finally making my way through all the og episodes. WFH and socializing don’t always mix so it’s nice to feel like I have friends talking to me (or that I can eavesdrop on lol). Keep being the lovely weirdo hosts y’all are🤘💕

I think it’s a great podcast, and I like the bantering before the case, all of it. Whether you like the opinion or not, there is a thing called agreed to disagree and move on, also they make a fast forward button for a reason. Keep doing what y’all are doing. I love it!!!

I’ve listened to Morbid for years and always enjoyed the stories. Occasionally there would be a “hot take” I didn’t agree with here and there, but I moved past it because I thought the pod was so good. Now I can’t even listen anymore. The hate spewed at any individual or group of people that have different views from these women is hard to listen to. Coming from people who support the party that preaches acceptance and supporting different views/ideas, I think you ladies need to try practicing what you preach. If you want to talk politics, start a politics pod. Unsubscribed.

I like this podcast, and enjoy you ladies. I think your heart is in the right place but political stuff should probably be left out. I work in this field myself - not the podcast side. Id like more focus on the cases, case work, failures of CSI and police. I listen for education and because true crime is a passion of mine obviously. Again like this overall but the political stuff doesn’t belong and I can go elsewhere for political podcasts. Thanks for your investigative work and care for the victims. -added: Again you guys adding your political views (as is your right) but that hate on all ICE officers is a bit insane as (just like most professions) a majority of the officers are just trying to do their job. They are trying to get the criminals out - illegally here and causing harm to Americans. Rapist and murders who came to America illegally and then rape and murder Americans. Really seems hypocritical to hate on American citizens who murder but be mad at officers dealing with murders and rapists who came here illegally. Js.

I would love an alternative podcast with the same level of storytelling and case selection without the script-level woke pandering and parroting. It’s just so unoriginal and tedious—I’m bombarded with it everywhere else, don’t need it on my true crime pod. You talk about people needing an escape but literally can’t allow your audience to have one. Especially if anyone thinks differently from you. Such tolerance! Such kindness! So brave! 🙄

Tried this one out based on recommendations and wondery app. I can’t do it anymore. The eps are full of laughter and jokes about true crime …. These two are idiots. Peace out - I’m done

Most of what they talk about if misinformation, on their episode from 01/26/26 they say that ice used a kid as bait, which isn’t true and then never issued a statement saying they were misinformed. It’s a true crime podcast just stick to the stories.

Didn’t care nor want to hear their political hot takes. I came here to listen to the great stories they used tell, Y Then I realized I usually put this on when I go to sleep and I can’t remember the last episode I knew what they were talking about because the pointless banter put me asleep before they got to the actual topic of conversation.

I am only 15 years old, but this podcast made me want to be a forensic scientist and I love it so much. I’m working on listening to every single episode no matter what. I love both Alaina and Ash. If you start from the beginning you can see how Ash has gotten better and better at researching and doing her own episodes. Overall I’m obsessed with this podcast and I normally get bored by things, but this I’ve been listening to for over three years. They are just so amazing and clearly put in so much work, it shows and I’m so happy that my mom introduced me to this. They have gotten me through many break ups and help me get through boring school days. Words can’t express how amazing these women are and being able to feel like it’s just me and them hanging out while just listening to them is so amazing.

I have been a proud listener for over 6 years and appreciated the *light* banter in the episodes. However, since switching to the different network, the banter has been excessive. The story gets LOST and I find myself skipping over several minutes of talking about something that didn’t even relate to the case. Super disappointing considering the topics at hand. I have loved this podcast for a long time, but things have changed.

I’ve been a listener since 2024. After starting from the beginning I am so close to present day. If you love Bailey Sarian you’ll love these two!

I don’t expect to agree with every podcast I listen to, but you can’t preach open minded kindness and acceptance while spewing vile propaganda talking points like small minded little parrots. Other podcasts approach politics with wit and humor. You have gone with vitriol and hate. What a shame.

Since moving to Sirius the banter has become too much and it seems like half the time there is no Thursday episode dropping on Apple Podcasts. Not to mention there hasn’t been a “monthly bonus episode” that I’m remotely interested in except for maybe the first one. I’m getting annoyed.

I’ve grown to really enjoy this show and they have compassion for the victims whether the incidents happened 100 years ago or are playing out in life today. In some cases, they humanize victims decades after society ignored them and acknowledge what happened to them which can be isolating. Empathetic storytelling for those going through crisis are getting so rare that it’s now labeled polarizing politics. For anyone who feels attacked or hated by this shows views, I’m praying for you. May Jesus’s agape love free your hateful and burdened hearts. I hope you meditate in prayer to understand the source of your feelings and accept that this show may not be for you and others who glorify, justify or enjoy violence.

New listener here, and sadly I will no longer be listening. I was enjoying the banter, but why get political? You ladies made me laugh and it was refreshing in a true crime pod. I am a proud Republican, and Trump supporter, but I also value and respect others and their opinions. But bashing the mens hockey was it for me. They worked so hard for this and to say Canada should have won is so very disrespectful and sad. I am proud of the USA, to be able to live here and be free is a privilege! Congratulations to the men’s US Hockey Team!! You worked hard and EARNED that gold!!

Unfortunately voices aren’t made for podcasts. The swearing is super annoying. Hard to find a podcast that sticks to topics everyone is overly opinionated no one cares stick to topic. Much better true crime podcasts Crime Junkie hard to beat.

I have listened to this podcast off and on for as long as it has existed. For years, I would get tired of the swearing, Ash’s obvious stupidity, and the also obvious overreaction to anything that whispered racism. I’d take a break, miss the great true crime stories and get hooked again. If I wanted an uneducated diatribe on politics, I’d tune into MSN or CNN! These podcasters need to remember they are entertainers - not political commentators. These Two entertainers who aren’t that smart must pinch themselves at how lucky they are to be so successful in this niche business. If you aren’t careful, you will offend the rest of your fan base with your tick tock fueled political ideology. So, fans, listen with caution and enjoy if you can - the swearing will be thrown in gratuitously and A & A are now going to entertain us with their uninformed and uneducated political views. Baby bye bye bye

Knew there was too much banter but kept going because I enjoyed the stories but lately I can’t take the 10 mins of rambling before the story and recently it’s been more and more political takes which is fine but it’s gotten old fast. Just not something I’ll listen to anymore

These people are so hard to listen to! The constant F word and the constant use of Jesus Christ is so unnecessary.

Best thing in the world, (probably the last good thing, besides maybe ghosts 👻) I love the banter, and everything, thinkin bout writing in a listener tale someday, and/or going to a live show… but one recommendation to get this to 6 stars: HAVE NICHOLAS IN EVERY EPISODE AND GIVE ME A FREE BOOK! I am an OG listener and have listened since 2020. We all have our opinions I understand but the absolute negativity these two spew is a little ridiculous. They preach about what others are doing wrong but are doing the same on the opposite end of the spectrum. You’re supposed to be in entertainment where people go to escape the negativity yet you are becoming the worst. Wish you guys the best, but damn girls.

I absolutely love these ladies, the banter doesn’t even bother me but the political talk, racism everything is too far. A podcast is supposed to be an escape and morbid is no longer that. You two have lost the plot.

I love these girls! Best friends who I’ve never met. I don’t always agree but I love them always. Both have grown into great story tellers. We laugh we cry from all emotions and we listen every week.

I love true crime especially when there is a little comedy mixed in. I have listened to every Morbid episode at least once. I love last podcast on the left, red handed, and murder with my husband, but morbid is the podcast that gets me the most excited when there is a new episode out. And the reason for that is that these women are real. Not only do they bring the listener along for their life’s journey, but their banter makes you feel like an old friend in the room with them. They always allow for comic relief and dark humor, but never at the price of the victim or their family. Most of these episodes are about women or children, and you really feel in the episodes how much they care for the victim and telling a story for them. My only wish is for more of them, but that is a big ask considering how many episodes they deliver to us weekly. Thank you girls for the work that you do. Oh… and did I mention this is my first review ever of a podcast? That shows I mean it <3

First episode I turned on was Heavens Gate. Immediately subjected to talk about peeling feet followed by several more minutes of inane high pitched banter about who knows what. Turned it off and unfollowed. Just bad 😕

Sad to go. I have listened since 2020 but it’s just too much. I love a good true crime story, but when the banter is just so negative and so political it’s just too much. I wish y’all the best!
