Disappointed
I was excited to find an 11 minute podcast to gain financial insight and wisdom. Turns out it’s a podcast of ads with a small amount of actual content on the end. Probably won’t bother subscribing just to have tons of ads for such little content

Informative podcast ❗️
On my long drives home from work, I love listening to podcasts, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Nicole’s show. She talks about real-life money situations that not a lot of people discuss, and honestly, it’s something we aren’t really taught unless we go through tough experiences. This podcast makes learning about money feel easy and relatable—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to feel more confident about their finances.

Refreshing & really helpful
I’ve listened to a ton of finance podcasts, but Money Rehab with Nicole Lapin stands out because it’s not boring or overly technical. Nicole keeps things real — she talks about money like a friend who actually gets what it’s like to start from nothing. She breaks down topics like debt, budgeting, and investing in a way that’s simple but not dumbed down. What I really like is how she adds stories and real-life experiences instead of just textbook advice. It’s motivating without being preachy. Definitely recommend if you want to get smarter about your money without feeling overwhelmed.

Starstruck and Inspired
The episode with Maggie Q was such a good surprise. Didn’t realize how much I’d relate to her story about hustle and health. Nicole asked all the right questions! LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES. Also, I was a little starstruck… I love DIVERGENT!!

Interesting Podcast
Heard Nicole on Instagram and thought I’d give this a try. Now I’m hooked. She’s sharp but approachable, and I actually get the lessons she’s teaching. The way she talks about real stories like gambling or divorce makes finance feel human… which is what the teens need to know of since these aren’t taught in schools.

This podcast is a gem
Every episode makes me feel a little lighter. The way Nicole mixes money tips with real-life stories makes it feel like you’re not alone in your struggles.

Second guess listeners?
There are a lot of episodes I have enjoyed and appreciated. The content is usually general enough and helpful that even if all of the tips and tricks can’t be applied in your life, you can usually take a little nugget away. I don’t like the listener episodes. Today was one about gambling and this guest sounded so unqualified to be talking on this podcast. He constantly contradicted himself, gave answers he thought people would want to hear and was generally hard to listen to talk. I had to turn it off after 10 minutes. I’m not sure if his story would end up helping anyone with a gambling addiction, but I couldn’t get through the episode.

History Will Remember
When historians review the period of accelerating US instability prior to its collapse, this podcast will not be remembered. What will be remembered is the insatiable pursuit of vasts amount of wealth and consumption, concentrated in the hands of the few, made off the sweat of the many, that drove us to our deaths.

The Pep Talk That Changed My Paycheck
I grew up thinking money talk was scary and complicated. Nicole makes it feel approachable, even fun. Now I’m the one giving my friends tips I learned from the show, and they think I’ve suddenly become a finance guru.

Wall Street News Roundup: IPO Winter is Over, RFK vs Tylenol and Interest Rates
I listened to this episode and really enjoyed it. The topics are super timely, the IPO winter is ending and interesting companies are going public, the Tylenol story is a good reminder of how quickly news can move stock prices and the part about interest rates clearly explained how changes could affect loans, mortgages, or even the value of my own investments. I like that it’s short, no fluff, and still gives me a clear sense of what to watch on the market

Timely and helpful
I really enjoy getting caught up on Money news in a bite-sized way. I’ve never been so in the know about interest rates lol but this stuff is important and quick episodes aren’t intimating. But also appreciate the mix of longer interviews like Kevin o’leery and his $50 million Lububu was insane and hilarious 😂

Stop the vocal fry!
Nicole please take note. Please stop your vocal fry: “REALLYYYYY” and other words you drag out instead of getting to the point. I am trying to learn but when you talk like this it is a huge turnoff. Your normal voice when you are interviewing other people is much more enjoyable.

Recent episodes
This is not for lower income people, all this talk with high money people talking about money dysmorphia, girl you make $250,000 and your struggling about your friends making more and being scared for the future. And another one saying the $400,000 house in her area are shack or knows what that means. And looking into $800,000 houses max 1.2million, maybe once I hit wealth status I’ll tune back in. But definitely check out a lot of money podcast still like the Ramsy podcast WAAAAY BETTER.

Was on the fence & and immaturity kicked me off
I was on the phone with this podcast sometimes it would be good and I’d think I hope there’s more episodes like that. But other times it was a total. After the happiness episode, I’ve realized I can’t take money advice from someone who doesn’t know anything about life. Unsubscribe.

Give or Take
I feel like Nicole’s podcast is a hit or miss for me. Some days I really love listening to her and her advice. Other days I feel like they are completely out of my wheelhouse and not anywhere near someone who is middle class. It ends up just making me feel worse in the end listening to how someone has $70,000 in savings and got a raise for $40,000 when some days we are just trying to make it to the next week. You definitely have to read the show notes beforehand to see if it will resonate with you or not.

Hindsight & Lack of Humility
It’s concerning to see hindsight bias applied in critiques of the LA city administration. The reality is that Angelenos elected Mayor Bass, and responsibility for permitting lies with LA County. True leadership calls for setting egos aside and working collaboratively to move the city forward. It’s always easier to suggest what should have been done without fully appreciating the challenges of those making the decisions.

Females in finance!
I have been listening to Nicole for quite a while now and I find that if I try something else finance related, I always come back to her! She is to the point and breaks everything down so it is easy to follow. I most enjoy quick episodes that talk about topics related directly to what is going on in the world that week. But, I listen to most regardless. Keep up the great work! :)

Great for those with little finance knowledge
Review I started following this podcast when I wanted to learn more about what was happening in the economy, and ended up learning a lot more than that! I've learned how to understand what's going on in the economy, as well as tips and tricks on how to better manage my money. Nicole likes to say that you don't need a dictionary to understand her, and she's right! Any finance jargon used on the show is followed up by an explanation.
