A good show for the 20 and 30’s crowd
I’ve listened to these folks for a while. They stick to their script which could be very helpful for someone starting out. I am really older and on the other end of the curve than the audience they aim for but for good old southern banter when you’re driving it’s good.

Modern Dave Ramsey [UPDATE]
[3 months later, and there has been nothing new, nothing insightful. Their new show is a watered down Ramit Sethi.] I don’t think I have learned a single thing from this show in years. It’s the same stuff, constantly regurgitated, with nothing new or insightful. Like Dave Ramsey, it’s a “my way or the highway” show. Fortunately, TMG recognize where Ramsey is flat-out wrong. Unfortunately, TMG have their own shortcomings in approach and philosophy. To be honest, their whole purpose seems to be having you all willfully send them your data. For their profit.

Recent Downslide
Too much banter recently. Longtime listener but things are getting a little to goofy. Stick to the finance, chill with the goofy stuff. Assume your target audience is in their 30s not bored in their 50s when it’s too later. That set loves the Dad jokes, I don’t.

Superficial
Their critique of FIRE is based on flawed math and a total misunderstanding of how and why people FIRE, yet they act like more informed experts. It’s obnoxious.

Sales pitches are getting annoying.
Been listening to these guys for a long time. I’ve just noticed a continual creep in their sales pitch for their investment company. It just gets annoying, I feel like they’re only reason they’re doing his podcast now is just a drawing in customers. And maybe that’s it that’s fine but that’s not what I’m looking for. Sit.

Wish I knew this earlier
Been listening for a few days and this is a palette cleanser from Dave Ramsey. I’ve been listening to Ramsey for years and learned a lot, however I am 34 and missed years of wealth building while trying to save for a house because I thought that was “what I was supposed to do” and in the Baby Steps.

The good and bad.
Love the content, and the principles. Like others have said, the adds have been noticed, the react videos aren’t the best. But again, excellent and sound advice that has helped me in my own financial journey, so still worthy of a 5 star!

My review
Content is great. However, there used to be some ads in the beginning. Then they added ads to the end. Then they added ads to the middle of pod. I’m a little confused - why haven’t ads been added to the 25% and 75% mark yet?

No longer genuine
The only thing missing is selling advertising on their clothing. Abound wealth advisory fees are over 1% above industry norms

Moved on
It used to be a good show but now it seems to be repetitive. If you listen to the show for 4-6 months you’ve learned all you’re going to learn.

Too much Ads
Avoid this show.. I have been a loyal listener of Money Guys since 2018, but it’s disappointing to see the show now overwhelmed with intrusive ads.

Best Podcast
I have been listening to this show for a few years now, Monday, Wednesday and Friday are my favorite days! I’m so glad I found the show in my late 20s. You guys keep me motivated and on track. You even help me get my steps in as I always listen to the pod while I’m out for my daily walks. I call it my Money Guy walks🤣! Thanks for everything.

Best out there. These guys always bring A+ insights about the topic at hand and they’re genuinely interesting to listen to. We’d be friends.

Life changing content
Thank you Money Guy! Thank you for providing thorough financial advice, with case studies supporting your claims, without being politically or religiously charged, all the while maintaining a consistently positive and optimistic mentality. Other outlets simply do not create the same quality of content you do. I look forward to each and every publication and I’ve followed your deliverables that put me from my initial well intended track to my now well informed track towards wealth building. Truly life changing. I aspire to build a large enough liquid net worth to eventually create enough complexity in my financial life that necessitates becoming a client in the next several years. If you haven’t heard this enough, you are SO appreciated (in Bo’s enthusiasm)!!!

Actionable financial advice delivered in a clear and concise way
I’ve been listening to the show for a while now and love it. Great topics, easy to follow advice, and I’ve learned about things that I probably wouldn’t have had on my mind for a while, so it’s never too early to think ahead and have a plan! Keep up the great work, guys!

Lost the spark
I used to really enjoy the show. The show changed once Brian started promoting his book. Now the question are not as educational about financial strategies and more about the financial order of operations. Still enjoying the year end net worth shows and the comparison to your pers

Was a fan for a while
Enjoyed the show originally but they’ve become incredibly repetitive. With the limited variety of topics they discuss, this feels like a podcast that could be done 3-4 times a month instead of multiple a week. Are they just trying to monetize their platform or do they feel like they are following Brian’s original intent?

Great!
As a kid, this is educational! I’ve learned many things about investing! Brvnd77, nah, u need to shut up! Are you really THAT childish to worry about if someone is excited or not?! It’s very embarrassing hearing about your opinion when it’s an opinion a 5 year old would have! Just put up with it! SCREW YOU!

Sold out
I used to love listening to the money guy show. It is lighthearted, but good content, and while I know the creators have a financial advising business which the show helps them get customers the money making aspect of it wasn’t in your face as it is now now every time I listen to the show it’s commercial after commercial the show has lost its flare by forever

Shorter episodes
You guys should create 7-10 min episodes. Uncle Dave has a great bite seized short version of his podcast. You should do the same. -Dev Dawg

The Best Financial Podcast!!
Thank you Money Guys for changing my life!! You add so much perspective while still keeping things down to earth and reasonable in seemingly unreasonable financial times! I recommend your show to anyone who wants insight on their finances!

Informative and Valuable, But Sometimes Off Track
I really enjoy The Money Guy Show and generally prefer their financial advice and ideas over Dave Ramsey’s. The hosts are knowledgeable, and their insights have been incredibly helpful. Their online resources are excellent and well put together—though the podcast references them quite often, maybe a bit too much at times. One downside is that the show can occasionally ramble or drift off-topic, and the recent addition of ads has been a little disappointing. Still, the core content is strong, and I find their perspectives very valuable. A solid show for anyone looking to get smarter with their money.

Love the Financial Order of Operations
Great content - probably the best personal finance information out there. I like that they take into account nuance & risk and have a system to follow without it being overly rigid.

Bo needs to shut up
Brian has great knowledge and real world insight, as a team they deliver well packaged and helpful information routinely. The financial order of operations is it self transformative, and the attention to nuances in personal finance clearly sets this advice above bigger voices like Dave Ramsey. But Bo needs to shut the heck up and stop saying he’s so excited all the time. So sick of hearing him say it. I can’t listen to the show anymore due to how annoying this is. SCREW YOU BO!!!

Packed with knowledge
Love this podcast. The hosts are informative without being admonishing. I’ve learned so much in just a few short episodes and I can’t wait to binge more. Perfect podcast to listen to if you’re looking for something that’s easily digestible but highly educational. Thank you both for all that you do.

Money Guys are Money Fun !
I’ve been listening to The Money Guys show for 6 months. Although I’m 71 years young, the shows discussions reaffirm to me that my wife & I have made sound financial decisions as well as good life decisions over the last 40 plus years. By continuing to listen, I still gain new knowledge going forward! Love the show, Guys !

Please stop!
I’ve listened to this show for years. There is a lot of good content, but it’s getting to be hard to listen to. There is so much chit-chat I find I have to keep forwarding over it. I don’t need to know how you feel about TI vs HP calculators, or how your kids like carrots or sweet potatoes with marshmallows. Also, while I like your female cohorts, having 3 people potentially all talking at the same time gets to be too much. Especially when Reebie and Megan often get steamrolled over by Bo or Brian.

Tried it
Ok podcast if you are in 20-30’s. They seem to focus on this age group. Good guys but I can’t make myself younger to where a lot of topics would be relevant.

Good content
“I have $1.8 million invested and I’m 45. Can I retire at 60?” Good lord, people! Go touch grass. I can’t listen to some of this.

Comfort Show
I’ve been listening for a couple of years now, and recently realized I turn to these guys not only for sound financial advice, but the comfort of having someone consistently cheering me on in every financial season. I’ve also learned a lot and had some laughs along the way! Thanks to the whole team for sharing your wisdom and helpful resources!

Annoying sound effect
I enjoy this show but I sometimes cant get through it because of this annoying sound effect that they use whenever they mention the « financial order of operations» Maybe it doesn’t affect everyone like it does me, but as someone who has misophonia it makes my skin crawl, especially when it done multiple times throughout the show. At that point I just move on to the next Podcast. Good content though.

New millionaire show was excellent!
You guys have been an incredible wealth of resources for my family over the last few years. Kudos on the new millionaire show as this really opened up what a true sit down with a caring advisor should look like. Keep it up!

Vague replies and overhyped
I listen to countless financial podcast each week. The principles these gentlemen discuss is worthwhile but I find it rare they teach me anything new. My impression is they are contractually obligated to put on a weekly podcast which often lacks depth during which they sound mostly excited about themselves talking. Financial podcasts are notorious for providing caveats when answering listeners questions; the money guys have the most vague responses while more committal than their peers. They sound reluctant to divulge what they want the user to believe is proprietary knowledge but is actually quite accessible in other forums. Plus, has Bill ever not been “so excited” to talk about anything?

Original listener
I am proud to say that I have been listening from the first episode and come back every week for new shows. The money guy podcast is the first one I listen to as soon as it comes out because the information is always relevant and advice is solid. Brian does a great job of connecting with the audience and is entertaining as well as informative. I have sent an email in the past and it was read and answered during the show. I would like to see more listener emails and longer shows if possible because the listeners have very good questions and I can relate to most of their situations. Great show that I recommend to anyone who is interested in taking control of their financial plan and staying on track during turbulent times. Brian, keep up the great work; my family and I depend on it! But please stop being a hater on stock margin accounts; they are steroids for stock investors $$

Best Financial Show
I’ve been listening to this show for several years. Brian and Bo always put out interesting content with a lot of factual information. With their guidance, I have increased my retirement savings to 25%. The amount of free content they supply is outstanding!

Brian and this Bo know
I’ve been tuning in since COVID. With the help of these two gentlemen I’ve been able to get financially fit and well on my way to building wealth. I went thru the FOO, applied it, and regularly encourage others to do the same. I appreciate Money Guy Show and all the information they share. Thank you.

Oh how I wish I found you earlier
Started listening to this show about 6 months ago and cannot believe the free advice I have gotten and the benefits it has given me. These dudes are just good people who are trying to help people make money and it’s worth your time. Sounds cliche and kinda lame but your future you will love you if you follow through with their advice.

Yes men
I know Brian is their boss but Bo and the girl need to tone down the phony yes men stuff, it’s detracts from the otherwise solid advice.
