5 stars on days when Will Leitch doesn’t host. Please no more Will Leitch!

I love this podcast and I listen to it every day but this morning, February 4, 2026, the show began by the host saying hi it’s Wednesday, January 14. Huh?

Thanks for keeping me up to date on mlb events!! This podcast mixed with the mlb app keeps me up to date with all that’s going on. GO KC ROYALS 👑!!!!!

this is a podcast where time cannot be wasted while listening to it. It keeps me up to date with everything going on in the MLB. Without it I wouldn’t be able to here the crazy stuff going on in baseball

Mandy Bell thinks college is still an amateur league. The only difference between amateur and professional is a paycheck, not which company they perform for. Please don’t make the listeners dumber. Does anyone listen to these before they’re released? There’s the quality control

I am a huge fan of the morning lineup and listen to it every day. I couldn’t live without it. P.S. My fav host lis will leitch bc he delivers the info well with some comedy.

What would it take to eliminate the annoying background sounds? What you gentlemen share is sufficient enough without distraction.

Will Leach does a great job on this show. His delivery is perfect for the format. I wish he did every episode. I also (as a Pirates fan) appreciate that you almost always cover every game. Thank you! This is a daily show that I never miss.

Couldn’t find another way of possibly relaying this information, but please fix Mandy bells mic/recording. For whatever reason, he day on the show always has her parts super quiet, then the in game audio is deafening. Love the podcast.

This podcast was very promising upon my first listen but the quality is just not there. Fix the audio mixes, please. There is no reason a listener needs to ride the volume knob this much.

I love this podcast. It is definitely a part of my daily routine. The only thing keeping it from a five star review is that many days the host sounds like they’re standing across the room from their microphone.

This show has become part of my morning routine as much as brushing my teeth. The format and time are perfect, and everything is easy to consume and get me ready for what’s coming up today.

Love this podcast—except for Will Leitch. He makes my skin crawl and I have to turn it off on his day. Just so over the top it’s cringey beyond belief. Otherwise love the show and all the other hosts are great! I’m sure he’s a great guy I just wish he could go somewhere else. Sorry

Great concept, terrible comedy. That’s all!

After some thinking, this podcast is like “that” fly ball… and the host is Aaron Judge. This thing should be a must-listen. Instead, it’s maybe the worst error of all time.

While the content isn’t terrible, I personally can’t listen to the narrator. While he is probably not a bad guy, his attempt at being entertaining and/or funny is nothing more than an ear piercing irritant. Give me nails on the chalkboard any day.

This could be a go to daily listen if not for the blabbering host who ruins it. I don’t need all that incessant yammering first thing in the morning. Just give me the news, recaps of games and what to look for coming up. I dint need a comedy show. Tried it for a week, but you have lost a listener.

Probably a good podcast for Dodgers fans

This podcast is a good and quick summary of the previous day’s action. But please, let’s get Will Leitch on decaf!

I listen every day but boy, Will Leitch is strange.

Content is good but hard to focus in on when the background music is super loud and constant. And I’m 30 not 60 so it’s not a “turn down the dang music kids” issue 😅

Content is good, but the decision to constantly run music in the background makes this impossible to listen to.

This is one of my go to podcast every day. I don’t always have time to catch up on all the scores and the news. These guys talk about all the important things that happened yesterday in 10 minutes. The show is engaging and interesting and uses a variety of hosts.

I enjoy content from most of the hosts (5 stars) but Will Leitch’s jokes are annoying and problematic. Most recently - you is kind, you is smart, you is important?

The podcast is great, it now summarizes all the games that happened that day. “Arron is the judge but Brandon is the jury”

Highlights two or three important MLB stories in every episode. Very thorough and professional, and insightful. Ends with a wraparound of all other scores, some including revealing comments. Get all the important MLB news in about ten minutes. Only reason I gave four stars is that no episodes on Saturday or Sunday. C’mon! Make that happen and I’ll give you 5 stars!

Nice roundup podcast, I listen every morning. Especially love Will Leitch! Wish he hosted more often.

This is everything I want in a MLB podcast - a digestible recap of what I need to know from the previous night. This podcast is a must for any baseball fan, it'll help you feel closer and more connected to the game. Update - still love it. My favorite podcast of the day.

As my headline says, the quality of this show varies significantly because the hosts vary. Some of them (Mandy Bell comes to mind) are great, professional and deliver the news in a concise, clear, light hearted manner that is quite enjoyable. Others (Will Leitsch) seem to consider this show a chance to practice their own personal comedy routine with scant attention to actual baseball, and on those days I can’t even make it through the 10 minutes of cringe. So take what you can get, day by day, without expecting the next day’s product to be at all similar.

This is a short, daily podcast to basically sum up the MLB highlights of the previous days games. Sometimes they mention all of the scores and sometimes they spend 9 minutes talking about one game or one player. I’ve started to really dislike the male host, he is trying too hard to be funny and he is not. I don’t listen to this for jokes, I listen to catch up on baseball. The female host is better and she talks slower than the male host, who talks way too fast. He is constantly tripping over his words and mumbling. He is not a good host. I like the concept of the podcast, but you have to change some things.

I’m not sure what happened technically to the July 24, 2025 podcast but the vocals needed modulation and the background music needs to be removed

When will leech hosts, the show is pretty good. When anyone else hosts, the show is un-listenable and monotonous

Pretty good, I like how concise it is. Not sure why the one host intros the show like an NPR show (“Frommm? MLB.com…”) or why the other guy is doing a Ryan Reynolds impression, but it’s fine I guess.

Can you please announce the scores for the day before instead of lazily saying “for the rest of the scores, visit mlb.com”? I’m listening to this podcast in the morning on my commute to catch the scores and news from some of my favorite teams which requires me to, you know, pay attention to the road.
