Jon Lovett doubling down on the milquetoast “liberal zionism” while Palestinians starve in mass in the ruins of Gaza and are shot to death by the IDF while trying to get the food that they desperately need is absurd, wrong, and heartless.

This podcast is over, they have stopped broadcasting. It’s been over a month since new content has been posted. It’s crazy they decided to go out with two limp wristed clip shows, but there must have been extenuating circumstances. It was mostly and avenue for advertisers and mouthpiece for specifically DNC talking points, but it for sure no longer posting. It’s possible that they took a garish TWO months off for the holiday… but that would be pretty out of touch for them to try and connect with their working class listenership, right?

Why do so many of the ads promote orthorexia? It’s gross.

…but because Lovett or Leave It is not associated with the horror franchise, I have to say, it’s pretty good! While the takes might be lukewarm, I think that there’s space for the mostly centrist host and guests showing us just how far the U.S. has drifted to the right. It’s also great to have what feels like the best part of a safe space broadcast for us: the ability to say things that are not “focus grouped” or refined to the point of empty pablum. There needs to be space not to take things seriously even as the world demands seriousness. Why five stars? It feels like the conversations I have with my friends, including the unexpected moments of vulnerability and insight.

I love Lovett and I love Andor! And the pod in general of course ✅

Pretty good show, but more and more they show videoclips or visual gags. You know it’s a podcast, right?!? Not a visual medium. Seems they are trying to bully their audience into watching on YouTube. Pass. I’ve been listening since the first episode, but today I am unsubscribing.

I had to stop listening. Lovett and the guests are just too mean.

The Faust and the Furious was a perfect episode. The live audience brought great energy and the guests reveled in it. Still filled with relevant current events but managed to stay light and fun despite the news of the day structure that often serves just terrible news nowadays. Great writing and great guests deftly woven together by a great host.

I listen every week and often laugh out loud but this week was next level.

Just listened to The Bulwark pod with Tim and Jon, and I have to say this duo together brought me to want to hear about what other things Jon Lovett has to say about this nightmare we are living in at the moment, and found this podcast. I’m not a fan of Pod Save…I tried, but for some reason it misses the mark for me in my current state of perpetual rage, but I am a fan of Jon. Jon and Tim Miller raging together about the state of America, and the soulless morons destroying what took us 250 yrs to build is the content I didn’t know I needed. I, for one, Lovett and will be tuning in to this pod as well.
