A bit of a cliche for beginning photographers is SZM &#8212 super zoom mind. We see, say, a distant mountain, pull up our camera and photograph it only to be disappointed when the mountain is so small in the print. We see the mountain with our telescopic mind rather than composing a picture that includes the mountain.
