Subject matter interesting. Tried to listen to, but just heard jackass people trying to sound funny. It’s unlistenable. Just awful.

The subject matter of this show is really interesting so it’s insanely frustrating how unfunny and annoying these jag offs are. This is the podcast my friends and comics I follow keep talking about? It’s bad folks. Plain bad.

I’d rather LP take even soft stance against what’s going on in this country than to sit quietly to maintain status quo. Must not be listening to same fellas I’ve been listening to for the last 9 years. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wild that anyone thought these guys would be down with fascism. 😂

I love the research and how it almost sounds like u know them personally and Marcus is so intriguing and interesting with the information he gives..however I would like more serial killers and true crime stories more than aliens and stuff like that. I love the jokes in between it makes me feel more captivated.

Bought this movie on Prime immediately after listening to this episode. Very informative and well done movie. Great actors! I had some knowledge about sovereign citizens but had not heard of this guy. This was enlightening. Thanks for talking about it on your podcast!

If you’re looking for hilarious comedy with detailed information about true crime, historical topics or the strange and unknown you’ve found the podcast for you. I enjoy every topic the show covers and the hosts are hilarious. I cannot believe the negative reviews I’m reading, the boys have always been “woke”, if you’re a maga moron move on to Ben Shapiro’s podcast where you can listen to someone drivel on about perspectives you agree with. If you don’t like Henry’s character comedy you’re wrong and obviously never listened to the Pee Wee Gaskin’s series. And that’s the final truth.

I’ve been listening to podcasts daily for over six years now (yeah, I was late to the game) and this is my third review ever. This show feels like crazy Ira and the Douche doing true crime—and if that sounds like your thing, you’re in for a treat! I’d absolutely pay to see these guys do live comedy, and I’d pay even more to grab a beer with them. That said, the show is wildly chaotic—entertaining, but definitely all over the place. Now, I get that ads are a necessary evil. But these guys pitching products? It’s brutal. Like, replace-the-speed-metal-at-Guantanamo brutal. (Seriously—IXL? You really want these guys doing your ad read?) I’m gonna keep listening, but I’ll be looking for an ad-free version if one exists.

The show has dissolved into commie dribble; both violently political and aggressively economically ignorant. Most of the episodes since 2023 are just carefully curated leftists takes on historical topics. I’m glad for their success but it’s clear they got rich, moved to LA, and have settled into an echo chamber of high schooler level ideology that they feel obligated to preach to stay relevant in their social circles. The show used to be funny and entertaining, had a good several year run. Now it’s just cherry picking sources to fit a liberal narrative of historical events. They do try to sprinkle a few half-hearted jokes to keep you listening between multiple 8 minute ad breaks.

I used to be an avid listener, downloaded every episode to help support their podcast and encouraged many friends and family to check them out. I was a big fan. But, in the last couple years, the podcast has plummeted. I used to love Marcus’ research and objective look at the facts, but now it’s so woke and political in every episode. It’s not that I always disagree with the take, but the constant *call to action* *authority on the topic* rhetoric is tiresome and ironic given their success and the constant bashing on “the system/ the man, the same one that that allows them to criticize it and make lots of money doing so. Also, say what you will about Ben Kissel, but he really brought a lot and was more the middle ground perspective. Marcus led with research, Henry was for comedic relief, and Ben reeled Henry in when he went too far, which was often. Ed is basically Henry 2.0 which leads to Marcus spending the better part of most episodes trying to get back on track and getting spoken over. It’s so much more crass without being funny, political, and borderline annoying more than it’s entertaining and informative.

The only podcast in my library that I listen to as soon as it comes out without fail. The one I listen back to old episodes when there’s nothing interesting on my feed.

I’m from New Mexico. I also travel to remote areas of NM and work in healthcare. I was recently in the Dulce/Chama area and had never been there. I was excited to hear a podcast about the alien legend. I stopped listening a few minutes in. Learn to pronounce Dulce, Jicarilla and get your facts straight. There is no AFB there. IT IS IN THE MOUNTAINS. The base of the Rocky Mountains. If you can’t even get simple facts right, I don’t even want to hear the rest of the story. Automatically disinterested, research your topic better. You guys high? Or just a 2020s Wayne’s World podcast wannabe?

I love the content. Really really do. But like Henry, please stop burping left and right. :(

To counteract all the antiwoke butt hurt chuds, I’m leaving a review to say I’m glad Ed’s here, he actually seems interested with the topic at hand without a single “coulda done without that sir!” to be heard. Love you guys, keep up the fantastic work.

I really enjoy Marcus’s storytelling. He does a great job. He’s the rock of the show.

The voices they do are so unfunny, so frequent and so annoying that I couldn’t keep listening. Imagine the most irritating unfunny guy you know who makes dumb references every other sentence…that’s this podcast. If they cut that out, the production and research are well done.

This podcast is great…..when Henry isn’t talking.

Being a few years older than LP, I totally get every obscure reference to every random movie or news topic. Acting out the stories in the accents of where the crimes were committed is what makes it for me. It is not condoning the murders, just laying it out how it should have sounded. Love it!! 🤘

I’m begging you to stop doing ye olde cases over and over. Once in a while is fine, but they’re so boring.

I tried to give this podcast a chance, but it was disappointing. I listened to a few episodes but finally had to stop listening. They are trying to be a true crime comedy podcast, but the jokes aren’t funny. They make digs at victims in the episodes, and then weirdly put the killers on a pedestal in the same breath.

The jokes are not funny, annoying, almost childish and continuously interrupt the actual good entertainment part of the podcast which is the story each episode focuses on I’m very interested in the topics but have to grind my teeth to sit thru an episode do to all the yelling of childish jokes literally yelling it’s so annoying

17 minutes in and I’m still waiting to get to the actual topic. I had high hopes, but it’s not really funny. Just stupid voices.

Henry just couldn’t wait to bust out his lisping voice when talking about Lincoln, and every joke he makes during the entire series boils down to: “He was so GAY. Isn’t it funny? It’s funny because he was GAY. Have I mentioned that he was GAY?!” Great improv, man. Your stand-up routine must be hilarious.

They were my first podcast. I love that they've angered the Trumptards and PC leftist mob alike. I have a degree in general History, so sometimes I skip history related episodes, as they repeat pop history fallacies like Gospel, but they are comedians not historians. I also miss Kissel but he messed up and is in the void now. Hail Mary!

Much worse than it used to be. Verging on unlistenable. Took it off my rotation.

As others have pointed out, this podcast is another sacrifice at the altar of “liberal ideology above all else.” Most of what they discuss is apolitical, but they have to insert their anti-American, pro-criminal (Luigi was the last straw — seriously?), pro-terrorist perspective into everything.

I’ve listened to this podcast for a decade, so it’s actually really sad to finally stop listening. This podcast used to be non political, but now it’s woke garbage. They had a winning recipe and torpedoed it just to inject their leftist narrative. Now I see why the podcasting community constantly throws jabs at these guys.

This podcast is truly witty, insightful, intelligent and a bit of kilter all at once. I’ve listened from the beginning and I plan on listening til the cold dark end. Ed adds an amazing hint of optimism mixed with wit, Henry’s character performances and quirk always get me (I also appreciate the theater kid level of darkness), and Marcus has always struck me as highly intelligent and very thorough if a bit dark himself. The friendship between them is palpable . I also miss Ben’s humor but I don’t understand a lot of the comments on here - I never write reviews lol but reading some of them has prompted me to do so. I mean… no one needs to add to anyone’s ego but thanks gents for a wonderful show.

Been listening for years and this podcast has aged like a fine wine and it also pairs well with cheese! Always look forward to the banter and discussions. My one complaint is that there is not nearly enough belching and the sound quality for said belches could use some work. Otherwise love the show! Hail Satan!
