I loved hearing Bowen and Matt talk about current events and hot topics before they aired the actual interview. Sometimes I skip episodes depending on the guest but, I ALWAYS want to hear Matt and Bowen’s takes on various issues/topics. Please make this a part of every episode.

Great show but way way way too many commercials. I will not be paying for a podcast. Center the art not the money.

Have really enjoyed this show for years but it’s not for me anymore, which is OK. Personally, I’ve found some of the recent episodes and big guests disappointing. The Victoria’s Secret ad episode was strange work, but get that bag from Les Wexner, I guess. I think Matt and Bowen are both stars and deserve lots of success in the future.

Matt needs to stop singing. We get it. You can sing. No one cares. It sounds horrible when there’s an AirPod in your ear. I listen every now and then bc I can’t handle him during long sessions.

Yalls are the vibe and have me bursting with queer joy and laughs whilst I run. JLo interview was *chef’s kiss* — the IDTSH! Now I’m interested in seeing KotSW movie.

I have never wanted to from J Lo but this podcast is amazing. I appreciate her so much more. Thank you to Bowen and Matt- all of you rock!

I was there, in law school, then in the Pines. We can have a long discussion about it (or not) but, in sum, it was not a good time (except for the music, our community and the warm and fuzzy controlled substances). I love Matt & Bowen. This podcast is such a comfort for me, I feel like I’m just hanging with my friends. While they are good interviewers, I often skip those episodes. It’s the absolute best when it’s just the two of them. It feels like putting on your favorite comfy sweatshirt.

As a long time listener it’s getting hard to continue tuning in because of Matt’s incessant need to talk about himself or relate the conversation back to him. I know he does it to try and connect with people but it just feels like the content is 85% Matt discussing himself and I wish there were much more of Bowen and guests sharing their thoughts, histories, stories, etc.

I’m sure it’s great for advertising, but I literally dgaf about Bowen and Matt talking to any member of the Obama family, Sarah Jessica Parker, activists/historians/whatever. Bring me comedians and contemporaries, this weird like serious interview stuff is lame. Ayo, Aaron and Josh, Sarah Squirm, Cole Escola… not the FLOTUS.

I'm a newbie over here and I'm really starting to dig this podcast. Sidenote: if I hear Amy Pohler say *one more time* that teasing is a love language, I'm gonna throw up. Teasing, by definition, is saying hurtful things to someone. If that's how you love, God help you.

Love Love Love the Pod! I’m writing this as I have the podcast on with a sleep timer. I am currently listening to Frankenstein on Audible and i have a point you may be prickled to hear regarding the Frankenstein moniker. First, Mary Shelly is killing it! Actually, true Evanescence, she’s bringing it TO life!! to think she wrote it at 18 and invented the science fiction genre! Fierce i digress. I am 3/8.5 hours in to the book, and Dr. Victor Frankenstein refers to his reanimated corpse as “My Creature” not “Monster” so i guess the bolt-neck flattop guy should be referred to as “Frankenstein’s Creature ” not Frankenstein’s Monster” by the general public. However. Where it got interesting for me Is,,, With the creature being created in the Haus of Frankenstein, he could thus be referred to as “a Frankenstein” the same way someone would be referred to as “a Colby “ “a Dupree”. or a dress “ a Halston” “a Mackie” ? Bowen “a Yang”, and Matt “a Rogers” If the same use of language, lineage, and creation is applied to The Creature, are people not accidentally correct when referring to him as “a Frankenstein” ???! Now i KNOW most people are not using the Frankenstein moniker this way, and they are bastardizing the name by their ignorance, but I’m saying they may be accidentally correct! ha! any thoughts? love love love the pod! Disclaimer “look there’s Frankenstein” - not correct. “look there’s a Frankenstein” - correct.

You never leave me disappointed

Matt ruins the pod for me, he is always interrupting, talking over people, laughing loud. He seems disingenuous and like he’s putting on a show or persona that’s not who he truly is. I wish he would take a breath and be present with people, it would make for a much better pod

Lofty of late and miss the basic housewives recaps. Long pods, shrill cadence, zero missed opportunities to call themselves ‘the girls.’ I’m a gay, so gag me. Taking a break for now.

I love this show. Such a delightful listen. The Joel Kim Booster episodes are the best ones IMO. But they're all so fun. Great for ambience, or a jaunty distraction from the abysmal reality we are all suffering through nowadays (cir. Mid 2025ish). Just a couple’a funny down to earth guys.

Cate Blanchett is pure magic. I was tempted to find the video so that I could see her, but I got so wrapped up in her voice I forgot all about that temptation. I would listen to her read a phone book because I know she would find humor in that as well. She is an international treasure and I absolutely adore her. 🩵🌈

The episodes with just Matt and Bowen are fun but I’m not going to start hating on them just because they have more famous guests now. Good for them, they made a successful podcast! Let’s not be complian-y gatekeepers pretending like things “used to be better” like what an annoying type of person to be.

Love love love this podcast. You know those old friendships you have that contain a whole hidden world and a secret understood language? That’s what it feels like when you listen to Matt and Bowen’s podcast. I love listening to their dialogue with their guests. They are so tender, entertaining, down to earth, and hilarious. I love their regularly scheduled segment “I don’t think so, honey!” Something is always brought up that makes me feel SO seen, understood, but also called out 😅I’ve been going through a really tough time the last year and their podcast is an anchor of joy and laughter that is propelling me through this season of my life. <3
