I have listened to John Mark Comer since COVID, enjoying his series with Mark Sayers. I love his scriptural imagination and the way he leads through teaching. This podcast informs the way I lead and teach as the lead pastor of a church in downtown Wilmington, NC.

Very powerful message as it tugs into my very soul

I started committing to listening to something ‘Godly’ while I worked out. It started with John Ortberg’s The Me I Want to Be. Through this one step, I heard of Dallas Willard, found more resources including John Mark’s books, started one new podcast after another and eventually made my way to practicing the way. It has been life changing. Putting truth between my ears, has slowly hekped to transform my mind and heart and begun to repair parts of my soul (long ways to go 🙃🫠 in a journey that will never end on this earth). I am so beyond thankful for this podcast, these people and God’s work through them to help change my life, little by little. Thank you! May we know and learn more of God’s love for us 🙏🏼 so that we can pour it out more easily to a hurting world!

Great podcast for those seeking to learn about God, and learn practical ways to translate the Bible into modern life lessons.

Simply what was soooo needed for my walk. A new wind has come into my sail and I’m so grateful for the Lord’s blessing and insight through this ministry.

I find no value in three – named young effeminate pastors spending so much time trying to sound cool and hip, and with it, and not enough time truly opening the word of God. In the spirit of trying to make Jesus relevant, you castrate Jesus into a Eunuch. No thank you

If you are like me and have felt stuck & disillusioned by church. And the God you met as a young disciple leaves you questioning existence. These talks will invite you into practices that will deepen your understanding. These lessons teach me to to walk in rhythm and silence before a loving God. As older followers of Jesus we must reject the pull of the world and live daily in an act of resistance and adopt our own rule of life that reflects Jesus.

I was baptized at Iron City Church at the age of 15. My life has changed so much since that. My young life leader sent this to me. The more I listen to it the more powerful his words are. I think I will start listening to all of his podcasts now. He is amazing speaker. I am now a member of Fullness Christian Fellowship Church. It is has been a great church. If you haven’t found a church where you feel comfortable the two churches I suggest is Iron City Church( in south side) and Fullness Christian Fellowship Church( down the road from Shades Mountain Baptist Church). These are both amazing churches and have very welcoming to new people. The pastors are amazing. Iron City Church pastors: Isaac Adams, Kam Pugh, and Dustin Ratliff). Fullness Christian Fellowship pastors: Bart Brookins, Scott Shoop, and Gabriel Hughes).

THIS IS WHERE STRAHAN WENT?!?! I am rejoicing hearing this gentle and calming voice once again. I’m so glad I discovered this podcast. The work that God does through Strahan and Mark and friends is truly heart changing, mind changing, paradigm changing. I love it I love it I love it.

This podcast is a must for my discipleship. Every episode is full of meat to chew and digest and then apply. Thank you.

These teachings are wrecking my inner world. I’ve never felt so challenged but in the most loving way from Jesus. I have been a Christian for many years but just about a year ago finally found a church community I really fit with and can feel myself growing there.
