This is my comfort show, and it feels so natural to listen to whenever I’m lonely, it’s very fun and I’ve been listening for a long time and this show never fails to make me laugh.

I’ve been a longtime listener, but I’m at a point where I don’t think I can continue. Steve often comes across as mean-spirited during his streams, and it’s disappointing—especially for someone aiming to grow a larger audience. A little humility could go a long way. Also, I’d appreciate it if the podcast stayed focused on its core content rather than veering into political territory. While it’s ultimately up to the creators to decide what they share, it’s worth noting that not everyone tunes in to hear political opinions.

All there doing is talking about there selves barely about Pokémon.

This podcast is probably the best Pokémon podcast on iTunes. However, there is ONE THING I lament more than anything else. They terminated Mythical. They need to bring it back man, they need to at least finish the story. I would do quite a lot to see a final season of Mythical with the same length as the first to properly wrap things up. The story was never finished! I would pay quite a lot too for it, however I don’t have any money to spare, if I did, I’d pay $100 directly to SBJ to see the final season

My previous review was frustration from a few weeks of the show and not very fair. So here’s a not enraged review: It is the best Pokemon based podcast out there. Unfortunately it’s slim pickings, but they still cover the broadest range of topics and news and don’t manage to be cringey. I get really frustrated when it’s overly pessimistic about the franchise, or when politics dominate a topic, or even when they act like they aren’t associated with the largest grossing media franchise in the world while acting like corporations are evil, but on average it’s a decent show.

I look forward to this podcast every week. I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I was about 4 years old, and now I’m 32. This podcast has taught me so much about this beloved franchise, and games. I’d probably be a lot more depressed if it was for this podcast, and keeping up with them on other social platforms. I highly recommend any Pokémon fan to listen to this and to follow them on all socials if you’re on them! P.s. I’d also like to follow the other hosts, but idk how to find them.. 😅

A decent show. I just can’t deal with the three hosts collectively choosing to ignore the r in Lapras.

this is literally the most effective all around pokemon content podcast. they talk about events, the games, the anime, the music, the merch, and even the ... pikachu train? yep, it's a thing i learned about from this podcast. the hosts have some rotation and interviews but in general are consistent enough to have personalities i look forward to hearing and although i don't play sleep i get excited for them getting to get new music and islands or whatever. i also really enjoy the twitch and youtube content because it actually makes it clear how to solve getting the hard tera raids based on moves and values not just "take this iron hands and belly drum." i have a new respect for acid armor and howl and vaporeon is a utilitarian member my party always now. so this is longer than waiting for the windmill to spin in pales but five stars and infinite crams

This podcast is fantastic in every way. Well produced, interesting, engaging and often hilarious. It is one of things I look forward to most each week. If you are a fan of Pokémon in any way, this is a necessity for your ears.

I would say the podcast is pretty good and it isn’t bad but I just have mixed feelings about this

Can be annoying at times. Steve breaks down into giggles for no apparent reason with almost every sentence and often sets up straw man arguments to prove a point over things no one is really doing. The hosts all individually know a lot and it can be a fun listen occasionally. But more often than not they get too lost in the weeds and end up on a ranger and/or beating a topic to death.

Use to listen every week but the hosts got very political and woke. To each their own opinion, but I just wanted Pokémon news not your ideology thrown in my face. If you’re woke you’ll like it - if your not… well it’s woke 🤷

I scrolled through the reviews and the 1 star reviews were just bad reviews. “Oh, I don’t like Steve because he has opinions that he shares on a podcast that HE runs! I don’t like them being negative about some stuff but I’ll just ignore all the positive opinions! Steve is too gay (yes there was one review that said that)!” It’s just wrong. I personally love the show even when I disagree with the opinions.

This show covers all of Pokémon (TCG, main series games, Sleep, anime, PoGo, and even… Van Gogh?). I love the main hosts as well as the special guest hosts when there’s specific PokéNews. Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. They can sometimes be critical of certain things with Pokémon, but that gives the podcast balance and shows they’re all true fans of this franchise.

I am a new listener and watcher, I’ve binged a lot of episodes and over all I enjoy the podcast however the main host Steve sometimes seems a bit intimidating and it puts me off from interacting in comments or on discord. I hold a lot of nostalgia from the old games and Steve seems to dislike that, he doesn’t seem like the most warm and welcoming person. Speaking of nostalgia I really LOVED the women’s day episode hosted by Hannah. It brought me down memory lane hearing how they first found Pokémon, their experience falling off with Pokémon, and their experience coming back to Pokémon. All in all I enjoy but Steve can sometimes feel like he has a god complex and it sometimes feels like the co-hosts are hesitant to speak and share their opinion.

This show is one of my favorite podcasts! It’s informative, entertaining and often hilarious. When I first got into Pokémon I searched for a Pokémon podcast hoping to learn more about the game. Little did I know I was entering into a show I would continue to listen to for 4 years consistently, even when I would take breaks from the game. I love how honest they are about their experience of Pokémon both the good and the bad. The aspect I think I’ve appreciated most though is having my fandom for a “kids game” being validated as an older adult in various ways by them. Steve, Greg and Hannah are so genuine and relatable for me. Also their fan community is amazing! Thank you PKMNcast!!

I had been an active listener since 2016, even started paying in 2022 (even though I never got the additional content). I’ve trailed off because since SV’s initial trailer and then release, this podcast has just been been Steve complaining about the community for more than half the episodes. It got annoying. Will and Greg were the saviors of this for me but half of that has been gone. You also can’t question Steve, criticize him or call him out on hypocrisy. I’ve left a comment on YouTube before and minimally on twitter. Steve will respond to you with a childish response and never respond back. Or he will block you on Twitter after 1 simple criticism, but not before he gives you his childish response. Steve is turning into Verlisify

Hey there! I’ve been a listener since 2019. The show has always been great, but I’ve LOVED the addition of Hannah. I love her analysis of the story, and how much care she has for the characters and points the games are trying to get across. I also have really enjoyed Greg’s Pokemon Unite analysis. And Steve puts so much effort into gathering the news, reporting on it well, and making all of the graphics for the news/game events. The show is incredible, and I just appreciate all of you that put in all the hard work to bring a high quality, but still whimsical show. Thank you!
