It’s a good podcast however it can be difficult to listen to at times. This is because one of the cohosts yells when he talks. He talks very fast at a high volume and it’s somewhat stressful to listen to as they go back-and-forth between a calm slower, normal talker and a fast yelling cohost.

I just listened to an episode reporting that the genetic similarity of chimps to humans is more like 14-15% as opposed to 1-2%. They literally say after repeating this over and over again that it doesn’t actually prove or even reinforce any ID arguments. They insinuate some sort of intentionality behind the finding be “buried”. The hosts are the ones with an agenda, that much is clear.

A lot of the content on this podcast is at the popular level, I would like to see the complexity of living things discussed at length more often. I would also like to see more quantum mechanical implications on philosophy and science, I believe that is an area which flatly fits better into a theistic or at least pantheistic worldview than a naturalistic one.

The discussion is deep and insightful. It connects our faith To the reality of life. It points to a creator . It deepens our faith in God.

It seems that consensus science is more concerned with peer pressure more than peer drive toward the truth. I appreciate the research in this podcast.

While I can appreciate science when appropriate when it comes to glorifying God as podcast and some of their teachings suffer from personality disorders. Either glorify God completely or get out of the way.

I listened to the Aug 5 podcast with Richard Weikart regarding his book Unnatural Death: Medicine’s Descent from Healing to Killing. The podcast is critical of physician assisted suicided and strongly misrepresents the reasons people choose this option and the process involved. This podcast make it seem like anyone can request a “pill” from a physician to die, when in fact there are very strict laws about who meets criteria - someone with a terminal illness (they are already nearing end of life), has the capacity to make the decision, and the ability to ingest the medications (not one pill but many). The process requires evaluations by an entire interdisciplinary team including mental health, palliative care, primary care, etc. Weikart explains that people choose assisted suicide because they don’t want to be a burden or lack of family support rather than due to pain. Concern about being a burden at end of life is near universal and is not unique to those who choose assisted suicide. Additionally, suffering can exist without pain. So, while some people at the end of their lives make this choice to end pain, others may make it to stop the suffering associated with air hunger from not being able to breathe or the certainty of impending paralysis from neurodegenerative disorders. To say that assisted suicide is given to people without social support is not factual. To get through the eligibility process requires significant social support. Take care with this information. You are definitely not getting a balanced and complete picture of “medicine’s descent.”

The arguments given in most episodes are unconvincing and easily refuted. Many do not even withstand basic logical scrutiny. The only reason I can discern how these “arguments” may seem compelling to anyone is simply confirmation bias — the “arguments” are supporting a claim they already want to believe. Intelligent design IS a compelling theory. Unfortunately this podcast provides it with poor representation.

I listen to this podcast at least once a week and I love it! But my biggest complaint is the sound quality of the microphones. I understand the guests aren’t obligated to have nice mics, but I would love it if the hosts invested in some better equipment. Much love ❤️

Years ago, reading a mainstream scientific magazine, I finally reached my limit of all the Kiplingesque explanations of how macro evolution worked. With a bit of trepidation, I began reading the works of intelligent design proponents. Like many others since, the immersion into actual scientific evidence was a new joy. For years, I sought to understand the rationale behind criticism but now realize how lightweight it is.

These podcasts offer excellent, sometimes brilliant, discussions of issues in science and religion/theism explained remarkably well for non-technical listeners. If you take seriously both topics, and especially how they intersect, these are well worth giving a try.

Science is doctrinal - a relational study of the properties and components of nature, that providing a framework into which observations can be fitted without altering their perceived essential qualities. But at science’s cutting edges we continually find disturbing problems that fairly point toward explanations well outside what our accepted framework might exhaust due to their defiance of stochastic processes and sheer abundance. Biological sciences are proving to be full of such issues which seem less to be unsolved mysteries but rather needing a different mode of thought. More inquiry has only deepened and expanded the problems. Strangely, while the materialist scientist is careful to constrain methodology and interpretation to natural causes he is far often more willing to make a leap in conjecture on motives of ‘creationism’ when considering scholarly evidence of intelligence or design by saying it implicates God of the gaps thinking. For the materialist there are ideas which must not be explored - “here be dragons”. What has in recent years grown from a collection of ‘subversive novelties’ to fundamental issues seen in all directions may yet yield a Kuhnian paradigm shift to accommodate thinking that allows what intelligent design research fosters. Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture will be seminal to our future understanding.

Wanted some encouragement and found this podcast of 10/13/2023 ( neurosurgeon Michael Egnor discusses his article about Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn, the great Soviet dissident and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature, penned the short essay "Live Not By Lies" in 1974.) I truly enjoyed this podcast.

Just finished listening to Ann Gauger’s story- what a remarkable person and path! The science presented in this series is always interesting and compelling but I really enjoyed this personal look into what shapes the scientists who go against the grain and unflinchingly seek the truth. They have a gift in being able to see the fallacy of accepted dogma and courage to present findings that are uncomfortable for the majority of their colleagues. Thank you for showing us just how amazing this universe and everything in it is, down to the most minute details and being a part of deepening my faith. Living in a purposeful world brings much more happiness and fulfillment than the alternative which shamefully has been foisted upon us throughout our educations.

Good intelligible science - with God centered point of view. I’ve shared with people. Especially a God fearing friend who teaches Science at a Public School.

When I was a young biology student at UCLA, I couldn’t help but notice there was something deeply wrong with my education. Courses on biology (especially evolutionary biology) seemed geared to reduce the fantastic spectacle of nature to a child’s block toy. “There are no mysteries” I was told, “Everything you thought was great, is boring.” I knew that couldn’t be right but I knew I didn’t want to be bored, so I went and did other things. I’m a computer programmer now and I have a better grasp on concepts of function and complexity (not to mention logic). I can see now how much Darwinism was never as much science as it was a Victorian cultural artifact. Thank you for the podcast and please keep it up.

Casey Luskin provides a clear and interesting overview of the arguments for intelligent design. He sites several very specific studies to illustrate his points.The studies have been published in mainstream peer reviewed journals. Three Nobel laureates have concluded that there is some real science here.

If you don’t listen to this, you are missing out on important new discoveries

There is one one Creator who could lovingly make all that we see and discover: the Lord Jesus Christ, as in a literal interpretation of the Bible in both John 1 and Genesis 1. Romans 1 states the dire consequences of rejecting that fact. ID is great about the issues of science that point to the Creator, but it refuses to identify Him. That is my only complaint: keep up the great work!

Really great podcast that sits in the middle of brain bending science jargon and tell it to me like a 5th grader. Definitely something I’ll refer my skeptical friends too.

Excellent minds on this show. Intelligent Design (ID) is growing, and for good reason. I’m happy to see it reaching more people. And no, scripture is never quoted in these podcasts (I’m sure that people who are hostile toward ID will say that this is a Bible podcast).

Where else can you find engaging presentations on ID by the experts themselves! It’s a must for the science enthusiast. I get smarter each show I listen to!

I appreciate the varied expert guests who are continuing to think through the evidences and implications of Design Theory. I’m glad I found this podcast.

ID begins with a presupposition of theism and then tries to find evidence for itself. It’s the opposite of science.

ID the future has such a rich cadre of presenters and discussions across the spectrum of scientific pursuit. I really enjoy this podcast and it provides a tremendous bibliography for fact checking and getting cutting edge views on relevant topics.

Bumped into this podcast by accident but have been listening ever since. A lot of topics and information that I have never thought about. Like how you present fact based rational for your content - there is no ideological driven agenda: here are the facts which you think point to ID and if the listener doesn’t agree it doesn’t mean they are the enemy like is the case in so much discourse today.

Very interesting and in-depth discussions that are compatible with reality and filled with enlightening facts. I especially recommend this for youth to teach them facts based science instead of baseless and ridiculous teachings of evolutionary theory

I have been listening to and enjoying ID the future for many years. In my experience there is no better place to get the most up-to-date and user-friendly information on the miserable state of materialistic science and the unquestionable evidence for design in the universe than this podcast.

I love this podcast! It gives me hope to see that there are such notable scientists out there fighting for the belief in intelligent design. The podcast gives me more confidence to discuss intelligent design with those that don’t believe in It. I personally see no problem in the length as the 17-20 min podcasts are the same length as my commute to work , however, I can see how somebody could want lengthier versions .

Those who truly want to follow the truth will find these podcasts helpful. Don’t want to broaden your thinking, don’t listen!
