Pros/Cons
Paul Scheer is boring and certainly thinks incredibly high of himself, a classic dunning-Krueger case. June and Jessica are so great, I love the women’s perspective and they seem to watch movies like I do. Mantzoukas is the freaking best, so smart and hilarious!!

Driven episode.
How did they go the entire episode without mentioning the thing Stallone does with the coins????

The Best
This is the best podcast in existence. There has only been one bad episode. Just wish I had access to all the old ones to relisten to.

Last looks: Oscar
My absolute favorite podcast for years and years but I’ve never written a review, just made every person I know listen to it. I had to write one after Oscar: Last Looks. It was amazing, hilarious, just perfection. My absolute favorite episode and it wasn’t even a normal episode. Please never stop this podcast! June is my hero, Paul is perfect. I love it.

Then and now….pandering cowards
Listening to your Matinee Monday review of Junior, I must say it is a delight to hear you cowardly hypocrites make pretty matter of fact statements about the absurdity of male pregnancy, knowing if asked about it now you’d dutifully play make believe to appease the rest of the dullards. June even has the audacity to reference the “ethics” of the premise of the movie, knowing she’d insist it was unethical to NOT indulge the fantasies of mentally ill men cosplaying as women a decade later. I’m not sure if it’s June’s lack of an even rudimentary grasp of all the socio-political issues she feigns concern and/or outrage over that annoys me most, or how glaringly obvious it is that all her opinions on the cause-of-the-week victim Olympics nonsense she spews to stay D-level relevant in the entertainment industry aren’t even remotely consistent with opinions she had a decade ago. I’m sure she’d chalk it up to growing and evolving, but she was old a decade ago, and doesn’t actually understand the issues now, so growth? No….pandering cowardice.

Hang out with your funny friends
There has never been a bad episode because these are a funny, charming, charismatic crew chewing it up about bad movies. Good times, every time.

This has changed my life, don’t ask me how.
When a friend recommended this show, I initially dismissed it because I had no interest in watching bad movies, so I listened to Unspooled (another great podcast). Then one day, I just needed something more mindless, so I gave this a try and I have been hooked ever since. The movies are usually great, often in that so bad it’s good way, and weirdly I’ve learned a lot more about film because so many of these movies mess up things I’d always taken for granted (like color correction). This has also expanded my horizons because it turns out I love 80s and 90s action movies.
Jason, June and Paul are a delight, and my husband is now convinced I have a psychic connection with Jason because we consistently pick up on the same things. I’ll take it.
I laugh out loud often and I’m happy to know there are enough bonkers movies in the world to keep this podcast going until the world ends.

Simply the best !!!!!
Found this pod by mistake ….. SO glad I did! Just fun and upbeat every time…it doesn’t matter if your a big movie fan these guys will pick your spirits up and make you giggle and occasionally lol. The more you listen the more you will listen. Tall Paul- the leader of the show who vaguely keeps things on track…. Unintentionally shares crazy and outrageous stories of his childhood that gives heart to the show. Jason- the Zuck! How had I never heard of this guy? He’s hilarious! Never a dull moment especially when he’s on a roll. The show wouldn’t work without him ! June- Paul’s wife and voice of reason. She has no problem stopping the show to point out the most non topic points of interest. Do yourself a favor and check this out! Have to say As much as I love this podcast….. the ads are getting wayyyyyyy out of hand I don’t know of any of the other shows I listen to that have so many. Please Paul could you ease up??

Best Podcast Evvvaaa!
If the world is about to end, this is the podcast I will have. The chemistry is unbelievable. I understand there’s a lot of love, love chemistry. However the discussion, jokes, in depth analysis are so on point. I wish I could provide a list of my favoriteshows and movies. I mean, seriously why have you not gotten global like the youngsters are saying. Totally recommend.

Do better homework
You screwed up with Elizabeth Sanders in the review for Batman. Spent 2 minutes ridiculing, but not 2 seconds googling. Punching down too far. You idiots should be ashamed. Goodbye.

Ike Barinholtz’s Joe Rogan impression in the Bats episode is the best.

Five stars with a caveat
I’m giving five stars despite a minor gripe. I absolutely love Paul, Jason, and June’s chemistry and banter. The live shows are the best with the audience energy.
My only gripe is that Jason could give more space for others to talk and cut people off less. I always look forward to what insanity Jason will bring but I also would like to hear complete thoughts from the other hosts and guests. No stars deducted. Just an improvement suggestion.

Holy Christmas movies Batman
I came across this podcast accidentally and absolutely am so happy this happened!! The first episode I saw was on the Christmas Mail and I was freaking out I love Christmas movies too much. After that one I was browsing the episodes in delight and saw Holiday In Handcuffs and really went wacko! Our family watches this movie every Christmas and I have two copies. I'm can't say much more except that I'm super happy I ran across this podcast and can't wait to hear more.

WHAT’S UP JERKS?!?
Love this podcast! I look forward to it every week and feel like I’m hanging out with my friends laughing at corny movies just like when I worked at a movie theater as a teenager. Please come to St. Louis! FIVE STARS!!!

This is me… Getting work done on an iPad
Listening to How Did This Get Made? is like watching Jennifer Lopez ride a horse through a CGI galaxy of her own emotions—confusing, beautiful, and somehow deeply therapeutic. The This Is Me…Now episode broke my brain in the best way possible. I came for the roast of a movie fever dream, but I stayed for the crucial tech advice: use a laptop, not an iPad, if you actually want to get stuff done. Honestly, this podcast is like the Paul Scheer of productivity tips—surprisingly helpful and slightly chaotic. 5 stars, no notes, except maybe: let June narrate the next J.Lo biopic.

Love you three
But the excessive/ lengthy advertisements per episode has moved into the 'obnoxious' quadrant & it's near impossible to get into an enjoyable listening groove

Why did Paul bring his wife??
I love the podcast but June is just not funny or informed on what she is talking about.

More league of extraordinary gentleman type movies please!
Movies like that and “the adventures of pluto nash” are the reason i got into this podcast. “So bad its good” should be a fun exception, not an every episode thing

Ad-free option please
This show really needs an ad-free subscription option. The ad frequency and placements really kill the vibe.

Really Love The Audience Participation!
Love this podcast! It takes movies I may never have watched or considered and gives them. Really appreciate how inclusive and positive they are when considering these films.
Please don’t take away audience voting I fear that happening IRL. I really appreciate you watching LOEG as it holds the dubious honor of being the only movie I paid for then walked out on in the theater. The only other movie I’ve walked out on was The Covenant(2006) when then gave out free tickets.

Synergy!
The entire purpose of this review is to let fans know (in case it’s never mentioned on last looks) that Mantzoukas will be on the next season of BBC4’s Taskmaster and available next day on YT for non-uk viewers.

Bad edits on the Matinee Mondays
Many of the Matinee releases have sections that replay themselves. Tammy and the T-Rex for example does it three time, it replays multiple sections, each over 20 seconds, two times during the episode.

Great Podcast!
Love this show so much! The new formats for episodes is great, but I still love when they do a blind items episode!

Ya, always make me laugh. That being said , it’s hard keeping up with ya. I’m trying watch every movie; ya do what you do. But I can’t and just found spooled; (your other show) keep doing what you’re doing!!! Love ya

Love the Matinee’s
A friend introduced me to your podcast and I have a condition that I had to binge all the shows. I burned through the shows and thought I had caught up. The matinee shows have taught that I haven’t and offer a great surprise each week. Thank you guys for the entertainment you give us.

I found this podcast on YouTube. I used to listen to some podcasts and then for
Some time I did not listen to podcasts. Podcasts are a good thing to listen to while doing things or working. I watched modern family and found out Jesse Tyler Ferguson had a podcast. I listened to that podcast after having not listened to podcasts for awhile. Paul Sheer was on an episode. After that episode YouTube suggested I listen to hdtgm probably because algorithms. So I listened to some hdtgm. 5 stars.
