The guy is funny but he crammed to much

This is by far the best podcast out there. Paul, June and Jason are incredible and have been consistently amazing for 15 years now. Highly recommend seeing them do a live recording if you have the opportunity.

The hosts are great. One of these days you’re gonna review a movie I’ve actually seen. This is a me problem.

Pick better guests for the show.

Grease 2- Young people aren’t millennials. They’re old. We’re old. I’m a 35 year old mom of 3. You are speaking of Gen Z and the incorrect respresentation of millennials is just… too much for me to even listen to anymore. Everyone complains about millennials but they aren’t even speaking about millennials. I know it’s dumb to care but it’s SOOOOO annoying.

I’ve probably watched 5% of the movies they have reviewed but listed to 100% of the podcast episodes. They are so entertaining you do not need to watch the source material to have a good laugh.

My favorite podcast! I love this show so much. Paul, Jason, and June are all hilarious.

The show is a joy. The smart movie nerd energy is amazing. Jason should be the next Will Ferrell. Jason makes this something unique and special. Such a smart and sweet team. Also I might add, some of the guests are glorious, Adam, Nick, Natasha, just off of the top of my head, they all kill as guest stars. Paul has good nerdy cool energy and so does his wife, June. Might I also add that the howdy awards were beyond glorious. I really love these guys.

I can’t overstate how much I love this podcast. We all need some joy in our lives right now and this show will give you moments you can’t breathe from laughing, catch phrases you can’t share with anyone, and a community of friends you might never meet in person. Don’t skip HDTGM!

You will love the fun banter between these actors who appreciate all the aspects of a good, bad movie or a bad, bad movie. Jason will surprise you. June will make you think. And, Paul will charm you. All three will keep you laughing. Highly recommend.

I have listened to this show for more than a decade and i have finally gotten around to writing a review. Do i have some regrets about how much time i have wasted hearing about all of these garbage movies? Yes, definitely. Nevertheless: 5 stars!

These three hosts should know better than to include ads for AI. I would bet most of their listeners are anti-AI. What a dumb move. Remove the ads or I can guarantee you’ll lose listeners.

I’ve been a long time fan for over a decade now. I’ve been to live shows. But I can no longer support. Really June, ChatGPT? I’ve seen you champion causes wanting to make society and the world a better place and yet you constantly use AI which is catastrophically destroying our planet. Your own home state is having to resort to fossil fuels to power your garlic bread recipe that you just had to ask AI to make you. You are leaving behind a planet for your children that will be uninhabitable and its destruction will be on your hands. Communities that do not have clean drinking water. That is because you can’t go a day without using AI. I’m so disappointed

This podcast is both funny and also honest about the movies they watch, not just taking cheap shots. It’s one of the best that ever existed. You keep making them, I’ll keep listening! GEOSTORM

One of the first podcasts I started listening to and it still might be my favorite. You should listen because I have great taste.

Some of these really brought me back to my childhood and the F’ed up movies my mother some how found. (Peanut butter solution). Did you do an episode on My Father the Hero?!

I often love this show but I don’t know why they thought it was funny repeating the same thing over and over and over like 100 times. Geek squad episode is one of the worst, most annoying episodes of any podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time, and it’s unfortunate because HDTGM can usually be pretty funny.

It’s a funny show. Jason is the MVP and June has a hilarious habit of reviewing the fan fiction version the movie that she imagined instead of the one she actually watched, once bringing herself to tears (Masters of the Universe) discussing things that might have been in the movie… but weren’t. My biggest criticism is that the show is often a scramble. There isn’t really a structure to how they talk about the movies so it’s usually 2-3 tangents brought up by on of the panel that take up most of the time and often the movie’s plot, production, acting, etc. barely comes up. Sometimes it magic and sometimes it’s just a bunch of people talking. Also, and this is just a pet peeve… every live show… Paul and Jason dive right into the discussion before they introduce the panel, I feel like June has to run in from the wings and jump into the conversation or they’d forget to bring her out at all. And Paul and Jason have a really bad habit of just talking right over her. If Paul wants to host, he should try to moderate the panel instead of being on it.

Longtime listener, love the show, but instantly unsubscribed because of the Claude AI ad. “AI” is fundamentally opposed to everything that makes this show great, and that makes the movies that it covers so compelling—that is, the fact that they are made by humans, in all their messy, imperfect, hilarious glory. I know times are tough when it comes to getting advertisers for podcasts. I looked the other way with those ads about using AI to make websites, but this was over the line for me. The tech bros behind these LLMs ultimately want to make it impossible for podcasts like this to exist, and also for the movies that this show covers to exist. The future these AI dorks want is one where everyone is wearing their stupid AI glasses, and where this hilarious podcast is replaced by a bunch of AI slop podcasts covering a bunch of AI slop.

How did this get made is hilarious. I look forward to new episodes dropping weekly and always listen to the matinee Monday ones as well. You tune in for movie reviews but stay for comedy gold. Jason is my favorite. Geostormmmmmm 💙💙

Pretty self explanatory

Jason was even featured in digital Spider-Man comic book on Marvel Limited written by Scott Auckerman unfortunately marvel canceled it before Scott could end all the stories, but he did make it pretty good final issue by breaking the fourth wall . I want more Jason in the comic, but I won’t get that so F Marvel. Lol. Oh yeah, but this podcast is five stars great

Paul Scheer is boring and certainly thinks incredibly high of himself, a classic dunning-Krueger case. June and Jessica are so great, I love the women’s perspective and they seem to watch movies like I do. Mantzoukas is the freaking best, so smart and hilarious!!
