In my search to hear more from a beguiling mouse with human strength, I came upon this perplexing podcast. When I hit play, an enchanting song graced my ears. As if under a spell, I could not help but dance. What I heard next forever changed the meat that doth dwell within my attic. I find myself unable to stop listening to episode after episode, cackling like a mad woman. Even after hundreds of episodes, my thirst could not be quenched. I found myself transported back to the year 2018 more than once. O’er these last several years, this spell has kept a smile upon my oft tear-stained face and kept the demons from my attic meat as I drifted off to sleep. Introduced to the pod via Dungeons and Daddies and, while it took a few years, I’ve just completely caught up on the main feed! Super funny pod, great to listen to for the improv and puzzle lovers alike (though be careful about listening at work or anywhere you do not want to be caught laughing out loud to your headphones). Now I’m down to 2 eps weekly with these folks with Hey Riddle Riddle and Gumshoes and Dragons ….. might be time to sign up for the patreon

Great stuff to fill the quiet in your house with, They keep things moving, and while paying attention pay off, and adds to the enjoyment, If you miss something, it doesn’t matter. Fun characters and many guests.

this show used to be nice… but now its just them plugging the patreon. theyve run out of riddles and jokes, and they keep reusing ones from the Patreon- and, actively knowing that most of us wouldn’t get them, telling us to subscribe so we would. sandy’s the only good person here. now it’s just ad and shameless plug-filled slop with unoriginal jokes and obscure references.

I adore this podcast! I was introduced to it by Dungeons and Daddies. The host are very personable and funny. I laugh out loud at work all the time. Great people do bad improv that sounds like great improv because they’re good at it. Shouldn’t work, can’t work, works thanks to great sound design/editing and a willingness to constantly sabotage each other’s bits. Love it to the end of the earth and will continue to break my brain with it.

Turn back while you can! I found this podcast in 2023. I wasn’t big on riddles or Improv, but I knew one of the hosts from a TTRPG show. I got through the backlog in under 6 months. I joined the Patreon to sample their bonus Clue Crew show, and I pretty quickly bumped up to Review Crew tier for the extra monthly show and livestream, as well as their ad free main feed (so of course I re-listened to all of those episodes). Soon I was all caught up and I STILL needed more, so I found a local improv theater and signed up for classes. Here I am two years after I started listening: I’ve spent thousands of dollars on classes and coaches. Shows and rehearsals have taken the place of dates, game nights, and going out with friends. I barely remember my old friends anymore. I quit my cushy office job. I chase a special kind of rush that I can only get on stage. I think I maybe joined a cult. Worst of all, I’m still subscribed to this GOT DANG PODCAST. Five stars, highly recommend.

I’ve never seen a podcast where the hosts hate the conceit of the podcast more than these guys. Thankfully, it’s hilarious, not annoying. They represent Chicago improv well and have influenced my decision to move there and take classes at iO! You’ll enjoy the podcast, give it a listen!

Every now and then I’ll get to thinking “I listen to too many podcasts, I should cut down. Maybe I should stop listening to ‘Hey Riddle Riddle?’ They don’t really even do riddles anymore.” And then one of the hosts will say the funniest thing I’ve ever heard in my life and I decide to keep listening forever.

I gotta say, it’s just so nice waking up every Wednesday in this apocalyptic-hellscape-joke-of-a-country and being able to open up a bottle of Hey Riddle Riddle to get drunk off some funny. So thank you for making the worst timeline a little more livable.

I really really love this show! Clever hosts who riff and joke with each other in a way that makes it clear they’re irl friends. Buuuuut I’ve never listened to a show with such egregiously long ad breaks. I think they wanted to do just one big break assuming it would be preferable, but I’d much rather have 2 or 3 ad breaks that are shorter (and easier to skip through). I’m not exaggerating when I say the ad breaks can be longer than ten minutes. If I’m in the car or working out, pressing the thirty-second skip button 20+ times can really take me out of whatever I’m doing. I’m not complaining that ads exist, just how they’re presented in this particular way. Otherwise a 10/10 show.

Half of the team has had their habits completely tainted/ruined by these clowns (non-derogatory) and it shows!

I, a raccoon who gained sentience when struck by lightning whilst peeing in an Italian fountain, have been looking for podcasts that love raccoons and dunk on possums! Finally a podcast that gets it!

I have been listening to the podcast for over a year and recently confided in my girlfriend that while I love the podcast I only understand maybe 20% of the things JPC said. She told me it's not safe to understand anything more than 2% of what JPC is saying. Out of concern, I underwent a long series of neurological exams to determine what was wrong with my brain. After a number of impossible-to-pronounce medical diagnoses and numerous brain surgeries, I can safely say I now that JPC is completely eradicated from my brain. Horse Kiss Cousin Piss.

This podcast helped me solve a mystery that has been plaguing me for years. This riddle podcast featured a riddle about a woman who microwaves her coffee for two extra seconds. The answer, of course, is that she wants the mug handle to be facing her when she opens the microwave door. This helped me solve the riddle of why my microwave sometimes — but not always! — adds a few extra seconds to the time I punch in on the clock. Thank you Erin, Adal, and JPC for helping demystify my world, one microwave at a time.

I recently started watching VEEP for the first time, so I was excited to hear that the hilarious Tony Hale was going to be the guest on the most recent episode. However, I was completely taken aback at the amount of spoilers! Erin said her favorite scene in VEEP was when Selina finds out she’s going to be president. I go home tonight, and the next episode up was season 2 episode 9, “Crate”, wherein Selina finds out she’s going to be president. This unabashed spoiler is egregious. It’s basic human decency to allow a reasonable amount of time for the average person to see a piece of media without publicly spoiling it for everyone. Rude. /s

Me not skipping through a second of that absurd opening is a real testament to how incredibly funny and delightful you all are - thank you for all the once and future laughs!

This is such a great podcast! The cohosts are all so experienced, and the advice they give is top notch. I started out with a lazy Labrador that always barked at the door, would eat food off the counters, and wouldn’t come when called. Now, I still have a lazy Labrador, but he only eats food off the floor now (mostly), doesn’t bark at the door (about 50% of the time), and at least looks at me when I call his name (the coming when called is still a work in progress). I will say, the guests are a bit random and I’m not entirely sure what they have to do with dog training or animal behavior, but still a 10/10. The title of the podcast might seem a bit misleading, but trust me, this is the best animal behavior/dog training podcast around. Yours truly, MyCatBeelzebub

jpc is forcing me to write this review. he said it doesn’t matter what is said, so i’ll say it for all the hey riddle riddle “fans” out there: THIS PODCAST IS THE WORST. im addicted to erin’s laugh, adal’s puns, and jpc’s characters. i hate listening to riddles and randomly say “groceries!” in adal’s voice for no reason. this podcast has cussed me. i’m stuck in riddleland and there’s not a white rabbit to help me get out, just little monkey bones and uncle santa. don’t make the same mistake we all did and binge every single episode of this podcast and sing the theme song in public. you will lose your sanity with all your friends. this was your warning…
