Two guys complaining about their clubs that have documented getting fit at all of the places. You’d think their golf trip after getting red carpet fittings and having like 9-10 sets of brand new golf clubs would have been really fun.

This podcast has continued to be a great source of interesting insights into both tour-level gear and fitting, as well as how it translates for the everyday Jane & Joe weekend golfer. But Mr Wunder, please, I beseech thee, drop your F-bomb habit. It’s become nearly unlistenable. A shame really, since your experience and knowledge with both pga tour and LIV players is a real asset.

Johnny wonder is such a breath of fresh air to this podcast as well as the rest of the Golf community. What an absolute home run it was signing him onto this podcast. J-Dub never change.

Scottie Scheffler doesn’t perform well in the Ryder Cup so you think he shouldn’t be ranked number one in the world and John Rahm should be??? Golf is a first and foremost an individual sport outside of the Ryder cup, and the team aspect in LIV events. It is crazy that you would downgrade Scottie based on the team performances and not his individual match on Saturday. He hands down beats Rahm like he did in the majors and it just sounds like you have an agenda against him with those terrible takes. Honestly, you can fly a progressive flag if you want but comparing Rahms and Hattons pairing in the Ryder Cup as “husbands” is just cringe. It was an absolutely terrible hot take that you should’ve taken Puig and Bellester as that would’ve ultimately lost them the Ryder Cup.

Hey, did you guys know that Johnny used to work for Callaway? Don’t worry, he’ll mention it at least 17 times during each podcast. That’s usually when he’s interrupting and talking over his guests instead of letting them answer the questions. The content can be great and Johnny was tolerable when there was the group dynamic but now that Johnny has taken over solo it’s getting harder and harder to listen to. You’ll quickly realize that every question Johnny asks of his guests starts with “I already know the answer to this question but I’ll ask you to explain it to the audience.” It’s becoming clear the podcast is turning into a platform to build his own brand and now he’s hired a new bootlicker in Jake Morrow so that he can have him do all the running around at the tour events. Sigh, I miss the days of Kris and Wade where there were a wider variety of topics and they didn’t feel the need to talk over each other or their guests. Unfortunately now it’s the Johnny show and I’m sure we’ll be relegated to more of his former Callaway buddies week in and week out.

What happened to Kris? The show is missing something here lately.

Johnny loves to tell everyone how he is close personal friends with everyone in pro golf and in the golf equipment industry, brag about his knowledge, and ask questions that he knows the answer to but explain it to the listeners. Good content, but delivery is hard to listen to.

I can’t express how sad I am with the direction of FE. When Johnny came on board and talked to Wadeh and Kris, he added interesting insights, if a bit insufferably. Week over week there was more Johnny and less W/K. Each week the show was harder to listen too. Bragging about his access. Interrupting his interview guests constantly. The fixation on LIV and Rahm. Starting with the show count every week when he had little to nothing to do with that number. I can’t listen anymore. Maybe I’ll check back in a year and see if it’s changed format. Heard Kris left GOLF but maybe Wadeh can bring the band back together.

I really do appreciate JW and understand his past employment; but this pod is absolutely dominated by Callaway interviews and content. I miss the old format that covered the whole gear industry.

The guys you’re looking for are now hosting the Golf IQ podcast for Golf Digest. I started listening to Fully Equipped because of the valuable insights provided in context to the robot club testing. I appreciated Kris McCormack’s input regarding his club fitting expertise, but it was always secondary to the hard data provided by the robot swing. Now that Jonathan Wall and Uncle Gene have departed for Golf Digest, there’s just not much value left here. I’m tired of the ad segments that take up way too much time and I just don’t care for the self promotion or to spend time listening to a marketing executive try to act relatable.

Bummer to loose the homies but looking forward to a new run!

Happy to hear Jonathan wall is gone, he was so narcissistic and cut into everyone’s stories but would get so annoyed when people would pipe in during his, will miss Gene but stoked for this new chapter. Wall was awful he made me stop listening to the channel for a while.

If you LOVE hearing about the backstories and nuances between various golf equipment brands (along with the sporadic hilarious non-golf story), this show is for you. As a new (but already obsessed) golfer, this is an amazing listen.

The guys are great, very knowledgeable and entertaining. I’m a gear nerd so this is right up my alley. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Guys do a great job but the RB guy never shuts up and just jabbers away. Guys need to drop him and he adds nothing worth wild

They have put together a group of guys that can cover every aspect of the golf game. They have elevated my knowledge of the game and the gear associated with it and I look forward to more episodes to come. Id also love some Gene specific episodes, maybe even a series, on his fathers history and then Genes history as he took the reins from his Dad. So much golf history in just two generations of men

I like Gene and appreciate his knowledge. Same with John Wall and all his tour info. Unfortunately, Borath is really coming off entitled and making it so tough to listen. The amount of angst, aggression and lack of respect he showed Gene (a vet in the industry) in the rollback debate was strange. Then he’s sobbing like a child over a golf trip… please make sure he’s ok and rein the guy in “Sir, this is a Wendy’s” please chill and realize this is a podcast on golf equipment.

Gene is the best. Dude doesn’t have a voice for radio, but he really knows his golf physics. More Gene, please.

I’ve never left a review on a podcast before, show used to be good and interesting then they lost one of their main host and then spent a year spending half the episode talking about an inside joke about a speaker or what concert they went to and then spent the rest of the episode bickering, nonsense show, not worth even listening to anymore

I absolutely love the podcast and the topics discussed. The interviews are awesome but they really need to figure out their audio its half the time to quite and half the time way to loud and it will be in the same conversation that it fluctuates. That last interview with the ping rep. You couldn’t hear a single thing he was saying.

My main gripe is with Tursky, plenty of people out there who know more about clubs. Not the sharpest tool…Let’s Go! Can you please stop comparing yourself, your clubs, and your numbers to Tour players?

The content discussed is insightful and interesting but Wall constantly interrupts everyone else, regularly talking over others. His audio is 40dB louder than anyone else. Are you guys producing this on an Apple II?

Love the content, but you need to get the audio figured out. The mics are horribly unbalanced. They're either too weak to hear or too loud. I'm constantly turning the volume up or down to the point I sometimes just turn the podcast off. Get an audio guy in there and fix it.

Love the content and all of your personalities but the audio in the car can be unbearable.

This podcast does have some interesting stories and information, my disappointment is the hosts spend a bit to much Time whining about all the time they spend traveling also there’s too much idle chitchat between the hosts I sometimes I feel like I’m just ease dropping on a telephone conversation between friends or coworkers. Stick to what is relevant to the listener. Peace

Guys...I honestly love the podcast. Great conversations and info. But, please please please figure out your audio situation. It sounds like your literally kicking your microphones. There are these jolting blasts of bass all throughout the show. It’s honestly completely turning me off to the show. Respectfully Matt

I really enjoy the show and the content is awesome, there is a mic pop that has been consistent happening the last few episodes and it makes it hard to sit through.

Much more interesting and relatable than the Subpar podcast, where tour players reminisce about their college days and players you’ve never heard of. This focuses on the PGA with stories about the pros sprinkled in among the gear talk. Great insights as to what goes on inside the ropes.

Love the show and information gained. My only issue is it is hard to hear everyone talking. Sounds like everyone is 2ft from the mics. Maybe turn up the volume if possible? Thanks

I lasted right up until the second “D Nevs!!!” And “J Wall!” Yeesh. Listening to a couple guys faun over each other’s bro nicknames while discussing the development of an 8 hybrid. Has to be the absolute basement level of content.

This pod has become one of my favorites, love the gear talk. I just can’t stand how often Tursky interrupts Tim and Jonathan mid sentence.

You guys are terrific, and the info is great for all golf enthusiasts. I have a problem, however, with the balance of Tim v JWall and Tursky. I find that I need to constantly turn down my volume when Tim speaks, and turn up when JWall or Tursky speak. It can distract from the content. Please try to solve this. Thank you.

Tried to get through 3 different episodes. It’s just a big, veiled ad for True Spec.

Interesting insights and info on equipment and tour!

This is my favorite podcast and one I never miss! I enjoy hearing an insider’s perspective on golf equipment. In addition, being an equipment junkie I love hearing about pros equipment changes and what they might be trying to accomplish. Given that, the Kevin Na interview was my favorite part of the show! Since I love NCAA golf and we are all going to miss the conference and national championships I would prefer the Chris DiMarco headcover! Great show!

That interview was brutal. Tim did an awesome job trying to keep that going and make it interesting but the CEO just wanted to over generalize everything and say we are first and best without getting into any product. And I have a paderson driver shaft and was really interested to hear him on product! Disappointing but the POD is awesome. Keep it up

Great, interesting podcast every week!

I have recently started listening to the podcast. Absolutely love the content, but I have to say, it is painful to have to switch volume up and down so I can hear everything in every episode. Sometimes it feels like the are simply away from the mic as the volume is way different depending on the speaker. When the episode ends I have to rush and lower the volume because one of my speakers might go out due to me having to raise the volume a lot. Keep the content coming but please please do something about your sound setup.

This show is detail, interesting and inspiring for amateur golfers. Great info on the latest gear plus some neat interviews with top pros. The audio is better now. Some of the earlier episodes had Tim loud and Jonathan sounded like he was in a box. Good work on the new studio audio guys!

These guys are great. Best golf equipment pod and great follows on social as well. Interesting topics, awesome interviews, and insight on equipment for every level of amateur golfer to the professionals. Highly reccomended. I look forward to every release and this podcast is always an instant listen when it comes up in the feed.

Be nice to get more than one equipment and gear show each week. So much new gear coming this time of the year. Let’s have a show on players distance and MP20 line compared to jpx.
