Girl, That’s Scary is one of my favorite podcasts. Jazz and Kat are your hostess’s for a fun listen. The ladies have fun, drop knowledge and on occasion drift off topic which happens when having conversations with good friends. I appreciate their insight, opinions, and recommendations.

Saying there’s no good cops is like saying there’s no good black people. Ignorant, plain and simple.

I can’t recommend this podcast enough if you are a horror fan that loves a healthy dose of comedy. Many an episode has pulled me back from the depths. I may not always agree with their opinions on movies but it’s always a good time.

I just happened to randomly stumble on this podcast while just trying to find stuff to listen to on my commute to work. I been hooked ever since, it honestly feels like this the only podcast i truly resonate with, being a black man with extremely similar interests and experiences to the host makes me feel less alone in the world. I just found these two. Already a fan. The wit is quick and hysterical, but they are definitely fans of horror. Highly recommended.

They have a great sense of humor and they also have very insightful comments about the films. Audio quality is good and I’ve never heard entire “Predator” franchise being summed up in eight minutes (great episode).

I love horror movies and the way these two break them down is so fun! I love their energy. They have me cackling listening to them describe the plots and themes in some of my favorite horror movies and they make me want to see the ones I haven’t seen.

Absolutely my favorite horror podcast!! They’ve covered many of my favorite horror movies and have also added many to the ever-growing list of films I need to watch — all while giving insightful commentary and making me laugh. And I mean the laughing out loud, cackling over washing dishes kind of laugh. Every time I see a new episode pop up, I’m racing to hear their take, whether it’s a new movie in theaters or an old classic — I know I’m going to have a great time. I also really appreciate their spoiler-free reviews on new movies on IG, which have definitely helped me map out what I want to watch in theaters and have been spot on with their ratings. I love this podcast. It has two of my fav things. Scary movies and black people. There aren’t a lot of podcasts like this, if at all. So yay. Y’all amazin. Also it’s good to hear someone else say “ I don’t care how much is on my plate, I will drop it all to play the sims” and same. It’s a problem.

This show is like watching horror movies with friends. Kat and Jazz are phenomenal and deserve all the flowers. Tune in and turn up!

Kat and Jazz are always a treat and a joy to listen to! Their varied tastes with horror movies makes for great discussion that covers a whole lot of ground within the genre. I’m kind of sad that I’ve caught up on all the episodes since I’ll have to just be patient for the next one!
