Used to love hearing George’s opinion, but he’s suddenly very reserved and shares a lot of “I don’t know” so it’s no longer interesting.

I’ve cut back on political podcasts because it’s all too traumatic but George is so insightful and sarcastic and funny that he’s really a must listen

Is he ever right? He was wrong about every prediction in 2024. This dude rambles, interrupts Sarah endlessly, repeats himself, and it’s not clear to me why this show even exists. How does Sarah sit through this every week!

Please have George talk about the discovery jeopardy, and especially, the deposition jeopardy Trump shall be subjected to as to his recent WSJ lawsuit. And how long can Trump delay and avoid these legal boobytraps?

Loved the ep w Prof. Litman this week. Really interesting conversation about the Court and its changes over time.

I love listening to George and Sarah but I hate this new bait and switch thing at the end of the episodes. They start talking then say you need to subscribe to hear the rest of the conversation. I am all for giving extra content to people who pay for a subscription but don’t put half an episode on the free side and the other half behind the pay wall. That’s why just wrong. If they keep this up I will be done with them. 7/4/25. I am done with this. I have unsubscribed.

6/2025: Unfollowing due to the new format. Listened to the show with ads, the episode ends and am advised the rest is available to paid subscribers only. Tacky change. Same issues I noted previously need to be resolved. 👇 Overall, I look forward to hearing George Conway explain matters of law. Two things that bug me are the interrupting and lack of segues into ads. I hear Sarah talking and then all of a sudden a loud ad she’s recorded is spliced in - there’s no way to know that the topic changed. Those two things are off putting.

So did I. I really look forward to the day that I hear George Conway truly calm because when that day arrives I think it will be when ALL of us are safe from the effects of Donald Trump. My marriage was with a man with a ClusterB personality disorder. I’m only safe from him because he died 5 years ago. I’m still in therapy and getting better all the time. Thank you George; I am forever grateful to you for your courageous outspokenness after you read the Rolling Stone article that cracked the confusion and questions you had about Donald Trump. Your writing was my first experience of solace and not feeling alone. I’m so grateful you keep speaking. I know you’ve paved a path, along with just a few cohorts in the beginning, for many others to trust themselves to speak up about DT in light of his malignant narcissism. Thank you!

Guess I'll stop listening to if I have to pay to hear the whole thing.

I really like the show generally. I’d give it 5 stars, but there was a recent change to make the end of the podcast only available to paying subscribers and I strongly dislike that. I think I pay The Bulwark enough by listening to the many ads in the show without also paying to subscribe.

I don’t mind listening to ads/sponsors during the podcasts. The network ones that pop in mid sentence are very annoying but I get it. But now that you’ve put the end of the show behind a paywall I’m unfollowing. Either make us pay for no ads or we get ads and all the show. Why start reading a book knowing the last chapter is missing. Hopefully you don’t get stupid and do this to the rest of the pods.

I understand the need for advertising, but interrupting the show’’s content mid sentence is jarring and breaks the focus on the speaker’s message

This podcast is informative in understanding how the rule of law is integrated into everything the current regime is attempting to put into place. George is very knowledgeable so can show his narcissism at times. He sometimes interrupts Sarah frequently in an episode, which is distracting and annoying, hence minus a star.

These two are so deranged.. they actually think people take them seriously.. this guy left his wife bc she worked for Trump.. he’s a eunuch.

Love Sarah and George as always. Stay away from water guns and safe travels Heorge

One of my all time favorite podcasts. Great duo. And George explains to more than Sarah who are not lawyers. Fun and informative.

George Conway’s legal explanations paired with his outrage are surprisingly soothing to me as I experience Trump 2.0. Really like both him and Sarah Longwell. I’m a Democrat, so of course I rail against this administration. But when former Republicans like the ones on the Bulwark rant and rage, they strike me as righteous. They are really standing on principle.

Enjoyed your POV until you spread disinformation on Xitter about prostate cancer and Biden - to what purpose for a different cancer beast at Biden’s age? Also for doing that thing Trump likes about hitting a man when he’s down. Since you appear to be compromised or camouflaging your true intentions, I no longer trust your podcast perspective. It also taints The Bulwark. Delete.

Omg, so entertaining. Let your hair down folks. Best ad on a podcast EVER! I could listen to Sarah read off those ingredients/scents for well a long time! It all sounded so appealing I really was trying to think. What is this scent, what is that scent? I couldn’t tell if I wanted to wear it or drink it….. and of course George! well DUH Chef’s kiss! good job everybody!

Can’t beat Conway and Longwell, together!! Always enjoyed George when he was a guest on other outlets and now this is my go to pod for legal (illegal) info.

Love the show but the ads springing up in the middle of a sentence make it impossible to listen.

Just checking in to say George Conway makes me happy. His clear affection for and competence about our Constitution makes my heart smile. I often find myself thinking 'wonder what Conway is gonna make of this' after I hear something the courts have done concerning the current authoritarian in office. For demographic purposes, (Sarah this is for you :) I am a 42 year old Black SAHM who leans liberal.

Love listening to George’s insight.

George Conway’s vocabulary is outstanding!

Thank-you, George; thank-you, Sarah. I subscribed while listening to the episode mentioning the protest of the Rifkind Sisters, I did not know what else to do, (nor did I know where else to write this). I’ll have to cancel some other subscription. (i’ve been listening from the beginning of this podcast, but wept about the sisters’ letter.)

This podcast is essential listening. No joke. I appreciated Conway expressing his tearful frustration about those in his field who are capitulating. I’d also ask the conservative wing of SCOTUS, Merrick Garland, and the complicit GOP the same question, “How can you look yourself in the mirror?” They’ve all fumbled the ball in keeping the orange Mussolini accountable, and now our Democracy hangs in the balance. Wish these episodes were daily. Thank you for helping us make sense of the illegal tsunami we’ve all been hit with.

Great show, but many of the Bulwark podcasts appear to now be using iHeart advertising, which is making them borderline unlistenable. The number of ads have doubled or tripled and the ads are just inserted randomly so someone will be mid-word when it cuts to an ad. Appreciate the need to monetize but you are destroying your product.

Ms. Longwell, please stop interrupting Mr. Conway. This hearing disabled fan depends on reading CC which is useless when you talk over each other. It’s sometimes gibberish in writing. Otherwise, I’d give you five stars.

I am interested in hearing George’s takes but his mic sound always seems off. At times he sounds far away etc Check sound quality!

Oh my! This is a great podcast, very informative and always offers a deeper understanding of major topics at hand. George is literally a bull in a china shop plowing through conversations with Sarah hanging onto the reins for dear life...! Thank you both for your contributions.

I LOVE this podcast and really look forward to it. Sarah and George create a tremendous dynamic and Sarah asks probing questions to help George expand his responses and commentary. George is authentic and massively knowledgeable. They are both trustworthy and courageous. This is a terrible time to watch as Donald Trump destroys the country and George and Sarah bring knowledge and a soupçon of humor and hope.

I can’t wait for George’s viewpoint, and this podcast is the perfect vehicle. Smart, wise and insightful! Bulwark strikes a home run with this podcast.

Good Pod, but you have to work a little to pick out very intelligent takes from George.

I feel compelled to share my experience with this podcast. Of which, I have been a listener from the launch! The deluge of legal information that is pouring out of this administration is astounding and difficult to comprehend, without the explanation from George and Sarah. The facts are easily digestible with clear, concise and, straightforward data. I highly recommend this to anyone- interested in politics or simply the desire to be informed. Also I truly enjoy the song at the end! Bravo to the entire team!!

I enjoy this show but I’m mostly interested in actionable steps.

Sarah Longwell and George Conway provide clear commentary based on accurate and solid knowledge of law, history and government. What’s not to love? And they’re entertaining. They make you want to learn more about world issues.

George, I love to hear your perspective and analysis, but your interruption is too much to take. I really can’t listen anymore.

I really enjoy listening to you two discussing the legal news of the day. I look forward to new episodes.
