I love you guys, but you are losing me because I like to listen to podcasts, and you guys are watching videos and you don’t describe them very well so I don’t know what’s going on so I’m not gonna listen anymore probably.

Now that they have gone to 2 shows a week it feels like they are going through the motions. They bank multiple shows and they are eating while on the air. It’s a bunch of lame bits and they are counting down the minutes until they can be done. What is sad is that they started so great but whenever they get a guest they talk over each other. I’m going to give it a few more weeks but Dave and Dana shouldn’t be this bored doing a podcast already.

These guys are classics. Great with guests or solo!

I really love this show. Dana and David are so talented and hilarious. So naturally funny in a casual not scripted conversation. I feel like I’m just there with them as a friend listening to them talk about SNL and just off the wall stuff. Dana and his impressions are still so great and entertaining and David with that quick one of a kind wit. I love it. I love the guests and I think it’s the best show and what a podcast should be.

I’ve really enjoyed every episode. Live with Adam Sandler is one of my favorites. It will never be as exciting as seeing David at the Scottsdale Target on Easter 15 or more years ago. My daughter ran to me saying she heard the guy from grownups. I went to see, figuring she was nuts, but David was on the phone so there was no mistaken his voice. We didn’t say anything, but noticed David walked really fast after that and checked out. Seeing him getting into a Honda Accord made us love him even more! Keep making this show, it’s great!

One of my favorite podcasts, always makes me laugh!

I listened to a 55 minute intro on the Dennis Miller episode. Then no Dennis Miller. The podcast was better when the title guest was on the show.

… as well as some occasional coffee through the nose. Worth the burn!

It's going downhill. But there are a lot of people who can't handle anyone with a different political point of view, so I'll give them a three, despite some of Dana's extremely juvenile toilet humor. (The redneck character)

I don’t like the videos. I’m a long time listener. Not interested in watching a video. Not a YouTube fan. Remember your audience. Fly on the Wall, great. Super fly? Not so much.

David and Dana used to be funnier until they decided to get political with their identity politics.

This was one of my favorite pod casts. I listen to them while driving. The new format has videos that they watch. Most of the audio is hard to hear or they are watching the video that I can’t see. I love these guys but not sure if it’s worth watching anymore. Wish it was just a pod casts again!

Julie Bowen is hot. You can have her on anytime. She and David have a great bond they work so well together.

If I could install Fly on the Wall as my life’s background soundtrack, I would. It’s the only podcast that makes me wish the episodes ran all day long. Dana and David, aka my forever SNL heroes, aren’t just funny, they’re comfort food for my ears. Sure, not every episode is comedy gold (what is?), but I can always count on at least one solid laugh and let’s be honest, that’s all I need to keep coming back. Keep doing what you’re doing, guys. You’re like the Weekend Update of my week: always on point, a little unhinged, and never boring.

Subscribed because this was supposed to be a pod about snl, hasn’t been that for a long time.

As a lifelong SNL fan it’s fun to hear these elder statesman chat it up, especially with their connections from the show. They’re some of the funniest Conservatives you’ll hear, but often get stuck in jokes that were last funny in the Reagan era. So take it like a Thanksgiving dinner with extended family. These are uncles that still have life in them but it’s also kind of nice when it’s over too.

This show is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Their chemistry and ease together are unmatched. They always manage to get some laughs out of me!

I am entertained by these two. It’s like sitting at the dining room table with some old friends. Funny old friends. I enjoy the sidebars and the stories. Any intense dislike for this show is weird to me. God listen to something else. This annoys you? … yikes. These guys fun and are somewhat legends in the biz really at this point. Fun hearing of their tales with the celebs they know. And Dana’s old impressions are classic… never get old to true fans.

I dig this show, especially Superfly! Something I enjoy going on walks while listening to. I first read this was the last episode and was disappointed, so thanks for sticking around!

Now it is just Spade doing lazy hack tone deaf complaints about airports, and air travel. Who cares¿

Im old and easily amused. I toon in every week hoping to be amused. Im not. I have to say I am sorry that this podcast is over but it never really started. There are actually funny podcasts out there. Small Town Murder being one. I think I just heard a sigh of relief from all over this land

I love the show, but would love it if your guests have better audio. Dana and David sound perfect, but guests sound like they’re talking through a tin can. I am an exclusive audio listener and always listen when walking my dog. Please get your guys to fix that problem.

It’s amazing how this podcast has made me go from generally enjoying Dana Carvey, to now really loathing him. He’s revealed his lack of depth in character and comedy. And he seems like a genuinely terrible person to be around. He obviously doesn’t care about the guest or his cohost. Otherwise he wouldn’t interrupt and derail with desperate, dated impressions and stories about himself as they’re talking. I’m also wondering if Dana has a learning disability? Guests will say something, and then 5 minutes later Dana will ask a question that they just answered. Either he’s not listening and instead just thinking about his next “me first” story or he’s got a learning disability. Which is it? I think we know the answer. He enjoys the taste of crayons.

It’s good…I wish they stuck with the original idea where it was solely a SNL podcast and we only got behind the scenes stories of that nothing more only guests who hosted come on and talk about their times on the show and yet we got this…it seems like half the time they don’t no nothing about the guests don’t have any notes for the guests which I get it they want to just wing it but they can’t do it like Conan where he can direct the conversation and knows how to interview Dana and David are not interviewers and just mumble through it barely asking anything when the guest does have something interesting to say they immediately interrupt them and won’t let them finish and when they do let them continue they don’t even acknowledge what they said after it was all said and done they just half move on…they should just stick to the super fly idea and not have guest just joke with each other and news That’s happening

I like Dana and David’s unfocused blabbering, but choosing to have Shane Gillis on as a guest is disappointing. I don’t know if his SNL affair ever hit my radar when it happened, but did a little research on it now. Couldn’t find clips, but able to find transcription. I assumed what he said was overblown since they were having him on their podcast, but found it to be actually pretty hateful and ignorant. Not wasting any more time on the Gillis podcast episode and hope they do better on guest selection from here on out.**************** UPDATE. They like to skirt political issues, but when they do get close it’s pretty sketchy. The podcast with Dennis Quad when everybody started praising Kid Rock and Reagan was just too much. I’m out. Goodbye flies. *************************** UPDATE UPDATE. see Spade is on Conan’s podcast and came back to check Flies reviews. Wow. Don’t even know who this Hingecliffe guy is, but apparently they are upsetting a lot of people with their MAGA friendly outlook. Won’t be coming back, just glad to see I’m not alone.

First season was amazing! but then it just became a press tour where they lost the excitement to talk to their guests. Just another podcast now

They’ve been trending in this direction for a while, but they finally went over the edge with the Tony Hinchcliffe interview. Allowing him to go completely unchallenged with his bizarre Maga grievances is the last straw. Unfollowing as of today.

So we're going full racist now with Tony Hinchcliffe. So disappointing but I guess not surprising. Unfollow and sad as a longtime fan to know you are both garbage humans.

I want to note that I love SNL and the work you both did on it. I was so excited to listen to this podcast and hear the stories from writers and actors throughout SNL’s tenure. Sadly, I can no longer continue to listen. I know this is free and you don’t care what we say - but your consistent factual inaccuracies regarding politics is not only annoying, it’s dangerous to the people who respect your opinion. If these were learned statements, it would be different but - like Trump - you say what you want w/o repercussions. Again, I know I’m screaming into a void - but my breaking point was your making jokes about the real fascist and nazified movement in this country with Kill Tony. You may be comedians, but you’re still public figures. You should not say anything regarding politics unless you are sure you have your facts right.

Really, Tony Hinchcliffe? And not Jane Curtin yet?? That episode with Tony was pretty cringe.

The episode with Tony Hinchcliffe was Dana’s way of sucking up to MAGA nation. This host politicized a show that was already too political because of Dana’s impersonation and opinions. Why appeal to MAGA? That’s what happens when you bring guests like Hinchcliffe without regards to his xenophobia and other hateful jokes he shares with MAGA. UNFOLLOW!

Bummed to see them invite such a huge tool as Tony Hinchcliffe. But otherwise a great podcast.

Listened to the Tony Hinchcliffe episode and when Dana and David couldn’t be bothered to interrupt, something they always do, to stop him on defending Elon Musk. That was it.

Might as well have Dennis Miller take over the show. Indecent and in poor taste to have that racist on the show. Unfollowed.

The only podcast I look forward to each week for the past couple years

Why do we have to listen to guests that sound like they’re in the bathroom? We know Rob has actual equipment. Even if he’s away from his studio, he could do what Armchair Anonymous guests do, and call in from a closet. With so many podcast choices, audiences don’t need to listen to poor sound quality

You two really brighten my day and make the hour commute to the office so much better!

Man, I wish David Spade would let the guests get a word in. When a guest says something interesting that would prompt anyone else to ask a follow-up question, Spade jumps in with a story about himself. Spade makes it a super annoying show that I won’t listen to again, even though Dana is one of the greats!

Joe Elliott was an interesting guest. The Conan O’Brien, Arnold Schwarzenegger, & Jimmy Fallon episodes made me LOL. During the Larry David episode, I was literally in tears with the John, Paul, George & Ringo impressions! One of my favorite things is when the female in the background (possibly an engineer or producer) can be heard cracking up when one of the hosts or their guest says something really funny.

I love you guys. You’re hysterical even before the interview of your guests. You make my day!
