Left hanging
This was an interesting idea but unfortunately after finishing it it left me thinking folks should have the full audio of their podcast before deciding whether to post it or not. As it stands, I can’t say the final episode left me happy I invested so much time listening.

Missing Leading Final Episode
The podcast could be condensed to six episodes due to filler. Final episode title is misleading. If you’re interested in media this is a very okay listen. Not the worst, nor the best podcast. 3 stars is a fair review. Anything below is filled with too much hate.

Not worth your time
If you like lots of commercials and repetitive filler to stretch this out to more episodes, then this is for you. The host is overly dramatic and the story isn’t that interesting. Also, the interviews are nothing but sleazy people and some that are criminals.

I think the podcasters are confused
Matt Drudge is not the most important figure in media. Maybe he was in right wing media if you ignore Murdoch.
There were only 4 episodes worth of content.

AI generated.
There are AI ads twice every episode. Really makes it hard to take any of this seriously.

Another nothingburger
If you want to listen to a long podcast speculating about where or why or what Matt Drudge might be thinking or doing then this is it. If you really want some information about what happened historically, what he’s doing now, why he doesn’t like Trump, etc. it’s not here. Matt Drudge never shows up, nobody of substance who knows him speaks on record,, totally lame.

A lefty clown
Totally bias to communist agendas, in my opinion.

Pretty obvious who Drudge really was.
A plant who was fed info by mossad and CIA. This really obvious fact wasn’t even discussed.

Really enjoyed it
This was a fascinating series. Binged the entire thing in one setting.

Not that good.
Actually pretty bad.

Geraldo!
I did learn some things about Drudge. Thanks. But Episode 8 made memories of Geraldo Rivers’s show to open Al Capone’s safe. Pitiful. You guys probably weren’t born so go back and look at it. Love the “so Drudge is actually really here.” Awful.

Mostly filler
This was maybe an hour of meaningful content that they tried to turn into something more. It should have been 1 or 2 episodes. It really drags, especially toward the end.

Whiny host
It’s almost impressive that this podcast managed to make an interesting topic this boring. The only highlight was picturing the two losers sitting at a table like two jilted lovers hoping Drudge walked in.

Where is the Moon Traveler
Update after listening to the whole thing: these guys know who the current editor is, they never reveal or hint who it is, they know that Drudge is largely hands-off and always intended to be. And yet they have no idea why the tone change? (And it makes sense. It’s not that “Drudge” is anti-trump like you keep saying - the whole site made a TONE shift around 2018/2019). Does Drudge ultimately sign off on it? Sure- he hasn’t fired the editor, that’s true. This podcast is really more a biography - they had no intention of actually “finding” Drudge - If I were Drudge, I certainly wouldn’t want to be interviewed after you revealed a lot of details - some of which would make me look rather petty.
I’ve always thought this would be a fascinating topic. He has been spotted and photographed within the last 10 years. I truly believe Ann Coulter would be a good interview to find out more - they’re known to be close. But regarding the Drudge Report - it’s more than him turning on Trump. It’s him turning on everything he claimed to value. Someone should run an ai analysis to evaluate the difference in tone, quality and content of his headlines between today and 10 years ago. It all feels completely different.

Nope
I was really interested but disappointed. There are a couple of interesting interviews, but an inexcusable amount of pointless filler about the creators and their friends. It ends up being more of a show about fans stalking a celebrity.

Repetitive and spoiler, drudge never show in Vegas
This guy just has various people repeat the same Drudge tropes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over…

So good!!
Found you from Megyn Kelly and I’m so glad I did! Loved every episode and was so intrigued!!! As a political junky and lover of a good mystery, I had heard of the Drudge Report but didn’t know anything about him, so this was fascinating! And fun!

Nothing burger
Listened to all of it thinking we’d finally learn some information. Other than some insights on Hillary campaign and Trump campaign, this turns out to be a show about nothing

Found you from the Megyn Kelly show
I listen to a lot of podcasts, but never found this one. Although I was never a huge, Drudge user, I devour news now, and I found this, absolutely riveting. Matt Drudge is right around my age and I remember when he came on the scene, but I wasn’t in the DC/Hollywood scene, so never paid that much attention. I found the way you guys did this podcast to be very very interesting and I loved it. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to hear whether you achieve your goal!

Objective. Interesting. Worth the listen.
It's painfully apparent, by the low ratings posted by conservatives, they don't appreciate Moody's objective reporting—and have an ax to grind with Drudge. If *you* appreciate objective reporting that looks at all sides of the story, have a listen. Personally, I found it informative and engaging.

Butt hurt conservatives in the reviews
Lots of conservatives trying to review bomb this podcast. Drudge is notoriously anti-Trump because unlike today’s conservatives he has the ability to think for himself. Drudge is a longtime right-wing operative that broke the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal. In the 90s conservatives suffered from what was know as Clinton Derangement Syndrome, desperate to saddle Clinton with scandals big and small, even stuff Clinton wasn’t remotely involved in. The Republican Party started a witch hunt against Clinton based on an Arkansas land deal that the Clintons were minor investors in. Republicans had zero evidence that the Clintons did anything wrong and were told multiple times by prosecutors that there was no evidence of wrong doing. Drudge was a slimy political operative that used nefarious tactics to break a story about a sex scandal, the rest is history.

I can’t. The guy sounds too similar to Tucker at times lol!
I realize it’s petty but the similarities don’t work for me

Could have been fascinating
I grew up in a conservative family and was probably ten years old when Drudge broke the Clinton scandal. Drudge has been fascinating to me my entire adult life, so this podcast looked so interesting.
Instead, we get another tired ‘fake mystery, no solution’ type podcast that sets up a mystery that isn’t that compelling (where is Matt Drudge and why did he disappear?!!? Answers- probably somewhere warm/ because he doesn’t like attention) then doesn’t even solve its own phony central mystery. A straightforward profile with lots of interviews and analysis of his impact on the media landscape would have been way more enjoyable.

Woke garbage
This was probably funded by the same people to whom Drudge sold out.

What a waste
This story has so much potential but is so circular, really looking over the legacy and impact of Drudge and how he influenced media would be fascinating. Episode after episode having his old friends say he was amazing and probably got tired of the limelight is incredibly boring. Who is this for? Why should we care he disappeared? What are we learning episode to episode? For long time journalist this isn’t doing fundamental things. His support and fall out with trump is certainly the most relevant aspect to Drudges story and 4 episodes in that lead has been buried with tons of fat. I wish a more capable team had executed this.

Got my attention
Matt Drudge is central to understanding today's politics. What he started in the late 1990's is how everything is done now. So it's interesting to hear this podcast. I liked the episode about the Clinton (2008) campaign conduit to Drudge and her take on things. It might get dragged out a bit, I can see that, but it's a worthy topic.

Great Idea, Decent Execution, Mediocre Content
The show has a great premise but suffers from a lack of content. There is an interesting narrative that is being told, but not enough actual research and information to develop a story. Could have maybe been 3 stars, but having to listen to Tucker Carlson once again state opinions like facts knocked it down.

Fun and interesting!
It’s always been on my mind, where did Matt Drudge go? I used to love listening to his radio show and would go to his website 5 times per day. My theory is he sold the website for a large sum of money to a left leaning organization, possibly Soros related, and then disappeared. The sum was too high to refuse, and he sold the website and was able to disappear. I was definitely a devotee and fan of his back in it’s heyday. Once the content changed and it was clearly left leaning, I stopped visiting the website. Would love to find out the backstory. Enjoying the podcast!

Hate this formula of a podcast
Just repeating a couple facts over and over. Throwing some speculation here and there. This could have been about an hour long. Maybe 55 minutes or less.

Interesting topic, questioning sources
This story is fascinating, but I was really disappointed to hear Tucker Carlson as a source. He’s a known exaggerator.

Great podcast
Just in time for election year, here’s a great political podcast. Interesting interviews and very entertaining!

Fascinating
I hadn’t thought of Drudge’s intentional anonymity, or how the MSM/press turned on him in an attempt to shut him up. For those of us who cheered Drudge on and couldn’t get enough of the Drudge Report during the Clinton scandals, this is a must listen. Move over Carmen Sandiego!
