Tres Excellent!
I started watching Emily in Paris after hearing Sam and Angela talk about it on Office Ladies. I binge watched it and did not know why I kept watching it. I started listening to your podcast and now I understand! I hate Emily. I love Sam and Bec, a dynamic duo so tres entertaining and makes me laugh.

Is Emily related to Michael Scott?
Thank you, Bec and Sam, for my new favorite binge podcast. I spend a lot of time driving across Texas for my job and you guys are my companions along the way. I have a fan theory you may have heard already. I was re-watching The Office recently and came to the Nepotism episode. Michael’s nephew introduces himself as Luke Cooper and it struck me that perhaps Emily is Luke’s sister and Michael Scott’s niece. Let’s face it, both Emily and Luke are the absolute worst, so it tracks. Anyway, just a theory. Love y’all, hate Emily.

I started listening because I followed Sam over. Now I am absolutely enchanted with both Sam and Bec. Thank you for turning my internal monologue about Emily into a dialogue that can be shared with so many.

Family Fun!
My daughter and I have been hate watching Emily in Paris for four seasons and I just found this podcast! Sam and Bec are our twin flames! They say everything my daughter and I have been saying/thinking all along and so much more! This podcast is hilarious and engaging. We hate Emily forever!

My new fave
I’m not sure I could love this podcast more. Sam and Bec have an amazing chemistry that makes me laugh, cry, yell, and more. It’s the rage watch podcast I didn’t know I needed. Like many, I came here from Office Ladies because I love when Sam weighs in there. But this is next level. Can’t wait for the next season so we can have you both back consistently again. I’m here for anything you want to break down, though. Keep it up! Love you both, hate Emily.

Please consider Younger. I selfishly need a deep dive break down of the boss’s outfits and jewelry, specifically the necklaces. Love you guys, not so fond of Emily.

The perfect hate-watch companion
When I decided to hate-watch Emily in Paris I knew I needed a podcast to explain my rage - I never expected to find one this hilarious, raw, and dare I say heartwarming as Bec and Sam become close friends and support each other through major life changes while also ripping this show to shreds. Love Bec and Sam. Hate Emily!

A duo like no other
I initially followed Sam over from The Office Ladies Pod, and I stayed for the hilarious side banters between him and Bec. After binging this podcast, I must say that I’m sad that I am all caught up now. I went back to listening to The Office Ladies and now I don’t find nearly as much joy in the PG-version Sam. I need authentic, blunt, sexual deviant Sam in my headphones every week. Please record more episodes together, I’m loving this duo and need to hear more Emily hate!

Love their energy
I dont even know what show they are referring to here at all but i love the side banter so i still follow along. The podcast is good energy and funny banter. I like the relationship the hosts have together as well.

If you enjoy laughing give this a listen.
Bec & Sam you are hilarious! I knew Sam from Office Ladies and I came over here to follow your show when it began. You make me laugh so hard I am in tears almost every episode. I am an architect who works from home and I love listening while I am drawing or re-listening late at night when I can’t sleep (your voices and humor are calming). As an eternal optimist who always sees, assumes, and believes the best in everyone, I can’t quite bring myself to say I hate Emily, but I do love you both! Your commentary on Emily in Paris is astute. I also love how you both share and spread awareness about issues close to your hearts and/or from your own lives. I am sorry you have both had to walk through difficult seasons, but it sounds like you are both moving in the right directions for you personally. I hope this show and the future are full of nothing but the best for you both! Keep up the hilarious content and I just ran 5 miles while I was typing this review.

Came for the Emily in Paris hate, stayed for Bec and Sam
I LOVE this podcast! My husband and I enjoy nothing more than yelling at the TV together while we watch the trainwreck that is Emily in Paris, so I was super excited when I discovered this pod. But what I didn’t expect was that I would fall in love with the hosts. Bec and Sam are both absolute treasures - hilarious, sincere, and willing to be vulnerable and open with their audience. Please never stop podcasting together, I would listen to you two review the phone book <3

Good stuff
I so love this podcast and the hosts. I am normally not a big fan of a lot of banter but I really appreciate what both Bec and Sam bring to the show.

Fun
I’ve never seen a single episode of Emily in Paris, and I never will, but this podcast is still such a fun listen. Sam and Bec are hilarious.

Overstepping
I like this podcast a lot, but Bec, you are not a therapist. It’s not appropriate to interrogate Same about his early childhood memories in this context. If something were to come up for him, it might not be safe and you are not trained to handle it. Please, stay in your lane.

Please don’t hate me, but I started listening to this during my long runs for marathon training (I know, I’m a total Emily, except I do sweat and look like an ogre after my runs).I’m currently on season 2 and This podcast makes the long miles fly by as I’m laughing while also clenching my fists in fury at how terrible Emily is. I also hope you start to hate Camille because she becomes more intolerable as the series goes on as well. Love you both and hate Emily (and Camille and Gabriel, but Alfie is a treasure)

Perfection
I started watching the show just so I could listen to this podcast. I went in already knowing how terrible it would be, so why can’t I stop watching?! Sam and Bec, you are entirely to blame for this. Love you both, love the podcast, HATE Emily!!

Love, But Please Stop Pushing It
I followed Sam from Office Ladies and I’ve loved the podcast! I need the satisfaction of hearing from other outraged viewers when I watch shows like this (would you all ever do reality TV? I’d love to hear you rip apart a season of Love is Blind, it’s infuriating to watch alone). Y’all are so much fun to listen to. But I feel like the level of vulgarity is being pushed a little more every week just to see how many people you can offend. Obviously you’re free to talk as you like, but this week my “line in the sand” was Sam repeatedly saying “I am bigger than Jesus.” As much as you preach a “live and let live” philosophy, I was surprised that you could so blatantly blaspheme a major world religion. Please do not alienate listeners by insulting Christianity. I enjoy your mocking sense of humor, but you have to have known that this was too much.

Needed more Sam!
I needed more Sam after Office Ladies so I took a chance on this. He’s so funny I decided to start watching the show. Now my husband and I are addicted to watching Emily’s train wreck of a life.

Love me a GD
Y’ALL, this podcast! Like many others, I’ve been watching Emily in Paris faithfully while always leaving with a horrible taste in my mouth. Enter, Enemy in Paris! Bec and Sam perfectly pinpoint WHY these gross feelings exist after watching this stupid addicting show!
As a major bonus, this non-cussing, Bible-study leading, pearl-clutching gal gets so many belly laughs every time Sam sighs and says “GD” (see? I can’t even type it!) Thank you for your humor, insights into the industry, vulnerability, and all the laughs! Love y’all, hate Emily😘

Episode 1 Season 1. The cash register in bakery is in English. Lack of attention to detail.
Episode 2, you guys did not bag on her enough her reaction to the steak. Her response was horrible and ignorant.

Best podcast around
I never knew a hate watch podcast is what I needed. I love the banter, hearing their takes on scenes, and feeling validated in my feelings of how insufferable Emily is. The show needs to end, but I will always need more Bec and Sam!

Love the pod
I heard about the pod on office ladies. After listening to pod, went back to rewatch the first episode and some how I ended up rewatching to Season 3. How did this happen. Love the show!

Better than Therapy
Funnily enough my therapist actually recommended this podcast to me after I casually ranted about Emily in Paris during one session, and I guess she knows me well because I love it. Sam and Beck have gotten me through some really tough times over the last few months and I appreciate their bright attitudes, deep discussions, and excellent senses of humor! I’m going to be deeply sad when they finish the show, but am so eager to follow them wherever their podcast leads. Love you guys, hate Emily 💓

Lost without Bec and Sam
I watched the first three seasons with my husband, who genuinely enjoys the show. I became increasingly frustrated with the show, Emily specifically. Not intending to watch season 4, I discovered Enemy in Paris just before its release. Queue podcast bingeing at its finest. Bec's laugh gives life. Sam is delightfully the irl Luc, but cooler. I couldn't bring myself to rewatch a single episode, but it soon became painfully clear that I would indeed have to watch season 4. Once I got to season 4 I begrudgingly started watching then listening one episode at a time. My husband had already seen the first four episodes so I had to suffer alone. Then the worst possible scenario occurred - I caught up. Now I am lost waiting week by week for each new Enemy episode having finished the show with my husband once the final four episodes dropped. I respect their need for space and recentering. Bec and Sam, take care of yourselves so we don't lose you to the best worst show Netflix continues to unleash upon us.

French Chef’s Kiss
I appreciate the time Sam and Bec take to rewatch this haute mess of a show. Their deep dives and location breakdowns are insightful and entertaining. The Jean-Christophe Bouvet interview was so fun and I hope they plan to give us more interviews like this. I love that there are two people in this world who hate this imperfect (yet addicting) show as much as I do.
Rewatching a show that’s full of plot holes is not an easy task, and Bec and Sam deserve all the stars!! (At least more stars than Chef Gabriel)

love the podcast .. hate the show
Love this podcast so much! I play it on the way to work, during my gym sesh, and simply to get ready in the morning. I didn’t realize how bad Emily cooper was until I listen to this podcast. Love you guys and keep it up 🙌🏼

The absolute best hate watch podcast
I watched the first 2 seasons of this show and thought to myself: I both love this show but also feel slightly nauseous. And it wasn’t until I found this podcast that Sam & Bec were able to put into words why I felt tre nasty. Thank you for always making me laugh, cry, and work through the trauma I’ve been subjected to thanks to Emily in Paris!

Love this Podcast, hate Emily
When I first watched Emily in Paris, I felt like I was missing something. I continued watching, much in the way one becomes immobilized watching an accident. I wanted to see what happened but also hated it. Cue this podcast; Sam and Beck are perfect together. Their respectful disagreements and insights keep me coming back. It makes me feel understood watching this show. So if you love witty people discussing a terrible show, look no further. Love them and the podcast, HATE EMILY.

Always the highlight of my week
This is my absolute favorite podcast now! I tell all of my friends to listen. I love Sam and Bec’s banter and their relatable vulnerability. I swore I would never watch the show but broke down after binging the first two seasons of the pod. While every episode has been painful to watch, I found the Christmas episode in season 4 pushed me to new levels of rage. Emily wearing thigh-high boots on an international flight?? Followed by her multi-colored Smurf jacket at Cami’s house? And continuing the same tired plot of Cami’s mom relationship meddling. Then Alfi just so happens to show up at the same town square as Emily at the same time of night right after she breaks up with Gabriel? It is too much to bear. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one. Love you guys, hate Emily.

Love the podcast, hate the show
I have come to write this review more times than I would like to admit and each time, I vent so much about this awful show, it ends up as word vomit.
I watched the first season of Emily In Paris and didn’t hate it, but didn’t like it either. I couldn’t put a finger on it until I started listening to the podcast (which I heard about from Office Ladies). Emily is a terrible character, as is the writing. I have become increasingly offended that they expect me to buy not only her lifestyle (and Mindy’s), but that she’s “the most wonderful woman in the world.” Emily is the equivalent of a natural disaster. Only, on this show, no one dies or is displaced. She wreaks havoc on her life and the lives of everyone she comes in contact with ZERO consequences. Break up with or get dumped by a boyfriend? No problem, there’s another guy waiting in the wings. She was clearly a petulant child whose parents never said no or gave her a time out; Emily is what happens when you don’t set boundaries for your children.
Bec and Sam are saints for their dedication to this terrible show. I love their banter and engagement with the Enemy in Paris community. I also appreciate that Sam continues to educate me on things I never knew and probably don’t really need to know (looking at you, cake farts).
I adore Bec & Sam; I despise Emily.

Amazing podcast, extraordinary hosts
I’ve been listening to you two since day one after anticipating your podcast when Sam announced the idea of the Office Ladies. Because season 4 of EIP is almost over and I can’t imagine not listening to you two go on rants every week, I have a suggestion for a new podcast! Your next podcast should undoubtedly be about centered on breaking down down BETTER CALL SAUL. While the writing on this show is extraordinary, the main character Jimmy McGill, played by none other than the amazing Bob Odenkirk, is an awful person! But yet somehow we, as the audience, are masochists and want him to win, sometimes similarly to Emily in Emily In Paris. This show runs for 6 seasons, so just a thought to write about a show with the main character being unbelievably frustrating and a horrible person. Sam, I’d love a shout out (Lily) and a purr. Love you two bucket hats and bug bears so much, hate Emily.

Enemy in Paris - a must listen
If you’re a fan of Emily in Paris but feel a little guilty about liking such a ridiculous show, Enemy in Paris is the perfect companion podcast for you. Hosts Sam and Bec bring a hilarious and relatable perspective to this guilty pleasure, turning each episode into a fun and insightful hate-watch session. Their witty commentary and genuine chemistry make every episode a joy to listen and to. Even if Emily in Paris ends one day (fingers crossed), I sincerely hope Sam and Bec continue to podcast together- they are just that good! Love the pod, hate Emily!

Funny but weird takes on stuff hosts know nothing about…
Can’t always tell what is a real critique or tongue-in-cheek comment here. I find the pod incredibly entertaining but also frustrating so I’m talking back to my speakers about life in France (I’m an American who lived there for a while) and working in marketing/corporate America (think the hosts are creatives without significant corporate experience). Also, comments on straight men being the only writers on a show clearly created by a queer one ring oddly. Whether the specific points are correct, it’s true Netflix is doing a huge push behind a project that lacks narrative continuity with characters that are easy to hate watch.

I don’t want it to ever end (and I hate that!)!
I love the pod, Bec, and Sam! I’ve just made it to the season 2 episodes and continue to adore the bickering between Sam and Bec. I agree with the listener who pointed out that you two model good practice in disagreeing :) I don’t ever want this to end!! And I hate that, because I hate Emily but love you both.

A bit too negative sometimes
I like that this podcast covers some insider knowledge of the film industry. And it’s fun to rage about the rage-able things together. I’ve given a handful of episodes a try but the amount of times “I hate you emily” is said in an aggressive way feels too negative for me to continue to listen to.

Tres exite to be listening
Even though I do find myself enjoying the show I am living for the podcast and everything you two talk about!! I love the outfit break down Bec does.
Just a thought, would you guys ever do a rewatch of Selling Sunset on Netflix??

Good pod
It’s not the Bec podcast. I end up fast forwarding half an episode because it’s her talking about herself. Please stick to the show.

Highways to Trousers
I have been bingeing the podcast and am up to S3E9, I love it! I am so happy that I'm not alone in my hate-watching. That aside, I am DYING at the fact that I could not understand what you guys were talking about in this podcast episode, as I thought you kept saying "highways to trousers." What now? I looked it up as I thought I was missing out on something that everyone else likely knew about. It seriously took more time than I'm willing to admit to figure out you were saying "high-waisted trousers." I'm both cackling at my mishear and hiding in shame under my bucket hat. Love you guys! Hate Emily!

Getting Creepy
Sam is way too vulgar, and it’s becoming hard to listen to. Tone it down, and this pod would be great.

Voices in my head!!
So I started rewatching ‘Emily in Paris’ in order to watch the new season 4. Then I heard about and started your amazing podcast halfway through my rewatch of season 1. Think I am Infected!! I hear your commentary even though I am rewatching episodes I have not heard your podcast for yet. I can’t wait to see if my ‘predictions’ are correct. Truly amazing! Love you, hate Emily!! ~Amy in Colorado

Love you both, Hate Emily
I love listening to this so much! My wife asked me to watch the show with her, and I only agreed so I could listen to this after each episode. I frequently call out little things that are blatantly wrong during my with her, and she has even started calling a few things out that are incorrect. PS. The reminder in the Emily is Spiders episode made me remember I haven’t left a review, I also got sidetracked and looked at the location list before writing this. You guys are hilarious. The show is boring.
Started watching season four, and I was yelling at the television because it was beyond a hate watch. Netflix should be paying you because youve made me want to hate-rewatch the entire series.

I am tres grateful for these two Buckethats
Usually when I’m listening to something funny, the most I’ll do is breathe air out my nose when someone makes a joke. Listening to you two on my commute actually makes me laugh out loud. You dig through the garbage pile that is this show so we don’t have to, and do it in such a way that brings true happiness to our lives. I am grateful for Emily in Paris existing for the sole reason that it brought us this podcast. I couldn’t get through season 4 without you. Thank you!

Don’t even watch Emily in Paris, just listen to this podcast
I downloaded and created an Apple Podcast account just to give Sam and Bec 5 stars. I’m only in the middle of Season 2 of this podcast so please excuse if I repeat some things that have already been talked about. I just watched 2 minutes of Season 4’s premiere and was so dangerously filled with rage I just had to get it off my chest. The fact that the writers made Camille have an affair to villainize her is a complete and total cop out to avoid forcing Gabriel and Emily to face how awful they are. Then, 2 minutes into Season 4, when I was finally hopeful that Emily would own up to her awfulness, she instead starts completely blaming Camille and tries to force the idea that they have issues in their relationship which have nothing to do with her, “as much as Camille would like to PRETEND that it is!?!?!” And then Emily and Gabriel have the nerve to gaslight each other into thinking that they “always do the right thing AT THE EXPENSE OF THEMSELVES?!” I am a nurse that works in Behavioral Health and I am flabbergasted at how accurately the writers portray narcissistic or sometimes even borderline personality disorder. Bravo to them, I suppose. When Sam spent 10 seconds talking about this show on Office Ladies, I was so ecstatic that someone else hated this show as much as I did, that I spent 30 minutes explaining and forcing my boyfriend to watch an episode just so he could also understand Sam’s 10 second rant, and I am beyond excited that it has turned into a full fledged hate watch. I am so grateful, thank you!
