I loved the Tower 4 Series and wanted to dive in to another story, but after 10 episodes I just can’t take it anymore. Hope Ennis is absolutely slaughtering Ava’s character. She sounds monotonous with practically zero inflection in her voice. It sounds like she’s never read the script before and is just winging it. In contrast with the other characters who have excellent rise and fall and emotion to their voice it’s really difficult to listen to. It’s so jarring, I can’t get into the story enough to see if she improves.

I have recently discovered 7lamb prod and they have got me hooked on podcast now. End of all hope is my favorite, and I love the lead character Ava!! Keep up the great work.

I’ve listened to dozens of audio drama podcast but this is hard to get through. I’ve listened to 13 episodes and was hoping it would get better but the voice acting is horrible. They all sound like they are just reading a script.

I really tried. I love this genre but it just got so incredibly slow after the first season. Painful.

I really wanted to like this podcast. Who doesn’t like a good post apocalyptic story. But as past listeners have stated, it can be hard to listen to some of the actors. Sounds like they are just reading off of a script in a monotone voice. There is no emotion or feeling when they deliver their lines. Also I could do without Jay. His whinny childish attitude has to go. He needs to grow a backbone or be killed off. It is almost unbearable to listen to him. I can understand when his character was first introduced but really he can’t change in the apocalypse. Also they need to get rid of this talking in their head. It’s a cheap and easy way to convey information but it really bogged down the story. I am really trying to finish the story but it’s hard. Hopefully it’s not the End of All Hope for me and I can make it through. FYI I have lived in Sonoma County for 50 years and no one calls Bodega Bay - ‘Bodega’

I’ve just started listening and like the story so far. I badly wanted a new series of this kind and was excited to find End of all Hope, but the woman who voices Ava is so bad that it’s off-putting. Hope Ennis sounds like a student reading from a term paper. Her delivery is flat and emotionless, and when there are inflections they’re in the wrong place. The other actors are good, which only heightens the contrast. I’m not trying to rag on this woman personally - I just want producers and others involved in show running to understand what a difference a voice actor makes. In fact, Hope Ennis isn’t acting - she’s reading. Badly. It’s distracting. I’ll give the podcast more time in the hope that she improves with practice, and maybe - hopefully! - the story is worth it no matter what

I appreciate the effort. However, the voice acting is horrible. I see a few reviews stating Ava was bad. I feel like the entire cast was bad. It sounded like high school students reading aloud in class. The voice actor playing the mom/wife was maybe the worse. Instead of sounding like an actual conversation between people it sounded like they were reading right off the paper, instead of being memorized so that it can sound more organic and real. Maybe the acting got better but it was just too bad for me to keep listening to find out. 1 star⭐️

I’m an absolute sucker for apocalyptic type podcasts, this is a special show for sure, story is excellent, my biggest problem is that it feels like they just put an episode out whenever they want, there’s nothing you can ever look forward to if that makes sense. I am well aware of the other shows they are making and realize they are putting out new episodes for those as well too, but you would think if they staggered the seasons between shows they could atleast put an episode out a week. This is what I struggle with most, sometimes the episodes are too many weeks between and I totally forget it even exists. Update Still a fantastic show but convinced they have their hands in too many shows, the inconsistency is very annoying Totally understand being under funded and staffed but I think they’re going about it the wrong way, this would have been a 5 star review if they ran things a little differently. 😤

I stared watching on Spotify and switched to this and I got to like season 5 it’s good but there are some moments that make me feel like a story but all in all really good ready to get addicted again

I like the story line but the acting is very flat. It sounds like they’re taking turns reading a story in class. I just wish the acting was a bit more convincing. I’ve had teachers at school read aloud more convincingly than this. If it weren’t for the sound effects I would not be immersed.

Really good show Ava was awesome and really grew through the story.

Good story but the acting lacked mood and emotion from the actors. Alien invasion with terrifying monsters? I should hear fear, concern, urgency and terror in the voices. I didn’t. Everyone seemed almost calm and nonchalant. The screams and alien segments had no “goosebumps” effects. The narrator sounded a bit bored. Too bad could have been a 5 star.

I loved this podcast when it originally aired. Thought it was Really Great! Then the waiting game, but then I found there were other productions from you guys, and I jumped on that gravy train. Then you all just left us hanging for what felt like indefinitely. Part of me wants to listen to season six. The other parts wants to wait until 2026 to see if maybe you all are still at the first episode. Decision decisions; I wish you all the best of luck tho.

I love End of All Hope. I listen to a slew of apocalyptic audio shows and this is definitely in the top 3. I see the criticism and SHRUG! Love the show , I’ll relisten and then listen to some of the new shows shared throughout. Thanks for great content that keeps me entertained and able to focus at work!

Came here after learning Jack from Tower 4 was acting in this too. The story is great but the actor playing Ava is so awful at voice acting I am completely taken out of the story when she speaks in that robotic monotone voice. It really sounds like she's reading this from a script for the very first time. It's so bad that I've completely lost any interest in listening to the show anymore.

I just started listening to this podcast a few days again and I’m already on season 3 this storyline is amazing keep it up

A really cool podcast. Did not like that Mark died. I was hoping for Eva and Mark to end together. I don’t really care about Scott, hope he doesn’t make it. I don’t think Scott would have done what Mark did for Eva. Although can’t wait to know what happened to Mia, did she make it? I hope so, because poor Chase and Chris. Waiting for next season.

Giving 2 stars because I think the story line is there, but I honestly couldn’t get past S1 E4. The actors, specifically Ava, just sound like they’re reading off of a paper. Came here from Tower 4, so I had high hopes. Disappointed!

I work about 60 hours a week allll alone so I have plenty of time to kill. In one week I was able to finish this podcast after Tower 4. 7Lamb has done an amazing job keeping me entertained and I feel as much as I listen, I’m one of their biggest fans. Now at first Ava annoyed me by how mono she sounded, but give her a chance! Thought the podcast, she gets extremely better. By far my 2nd favorite story, right behind Tower 4!

whoever plays Ava should be embarrassed to be a voice actor. No emotion or reactions; monotone and boring. Everyone else was great. Loved the story line.

So, the storyline is pretty good but the actors just sound like they’re reading. There’s no actual emotion or personality put into it. Would love to hear this with better actors. It’s not so bad that I’m not still listening though 🙂

Definitely admire the back story to the podcast, having the drive and passion to chase your dreams… bravo!!

I love this. I’m in year 2018 right now and so glad I have plenty to go. I have no complaints. I find the actors play their roles well and the story line is well written. I look forward to finding more from this group when I am done with this story.

I’m an environmental scientist who works for a state government agency and have actually listened to the EPA podcast. It was much better than this one and the EPA’s audio sounded like it was recorded from a webinar. This is is one of the worst podcasts I have ever heard but I will try to finish but not sure if I can. I am only on episode four of season one I cannot stand any of these characters. The voice actors sounds either whiny, obnoxious, or bored to death. All of these characters sound so whiny and annoying. Ava is the worst one and sounds like a typical fanfic character. Mark sounds like the only reasonable person in the entire series. I hope he survives.

PLEEEAAASSSEEEEE GET RID OF ARIEL HACK AS A VOICE ACTOR!!! She is so depressing to listen to and so low volume with her tough girl/B-word act. Also as Mikey’s mom in tower 4!

Honestly don't see why everyone is complaining.. it's very hard for me to get into podcasts/audio dramas as i'm picky.. Lamb Productions is 10/10 whether or not we have to wait. the acting is NOT bad. are you guys going to pay for them to produce faster? i bet half the people complaining isn't helping them at all.. get over it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ def 5 stars!!

I love 7lamb productions and the podcasts. But my god, Ava is mind numbing and should not do this anymore. There’s no emotion, feelings, she’s just reading a script. Very monotone and bland 🙃 like she’s reading the ingredients off a very boring cereal box. Not trying to be a b and I’m sure she’s a lovely person but I can’t fall asleep on my drive like this 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

When are we going to get an update

I just finished the last season. I’ve been binging this show for the last month or so and I’ve hooked. Can’t wait for the next season.

Love the story lines in this show, but am I the only one who wishes a horrible death for Jay lol! And Bri’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard

Enjoyable mindless story line. One of the main characters, Ava, is a whiny brat, so just accept that and keep listening.

Yet another semi-professional, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five star quality production that stopped producing new episodes suddenly, after dragging the audience along for years just to leave us without a final season (or 2). They had a loyal audience following it for years, in spite of long delays between some episodes, and a couple of snarky comments complaining about listeners asking when the next episode would be coming out. The fact is that an audience will only wait so long, before it finds something else to entertain them. I'm sure that most of the original audience has given up on a final season ever being produced. For new listeners, it is a really good story, well worth listening to, if you are willing to invest the time into a podcast that leaves the ending up to your imagination. If you go into it knowing & accepting that, you won't be disappointed. It is five star quality for the episodes available. It only deserves one star for being incomplete, & for complaining about the audience asking when the next episode would come out.

It’s a great story but I just can’t help but be thrown off by the bad acting and terrible post production, the really long music pauses are bad too. It sounds like a high school rehearsal. Where the actors are simply reading a script. And the pauses between the talks are horrendous. Actors have no personality and all sound blend and the same. I even have a hard time telling who is who bc they all sound so flat a boring. If they re record it with better actors it would be amazing.

So far just started season 3, I hope this is a continuing show. Other than some language it’s pretty good. I had been looking for a good sci-fi podcast to listen to and I’m so glad I found this one. It’s a podcast that you can listen to and just get lost in. I’ve listened for the past 4 days and I’m already on season 3. Hope to have a season 6!

Main character’s speech a bit wooden but a few of the other characters like Lori seem to have more emotion in their voices. Also, most people from California say Nor Cal, So Cal or California. Cali is cringe.

Great podcast as with all of lamb’s. My only gripe is that like all movies and shows they don’t quite understand firearms. “Silencers” don’t make a firearm anywhere near as quite as they portray. But hey if you have no experience, and they do call them silencers… Suppressor is the proper term and more accurate.

I really want to enjoy this as I very much enjoy a good audio fiction. However. The postproduction on this has too much pause between actors’ finishing and another jumping in, as if it’s a high school play during dress rehearsal and the lines are read aloud. It’s just not natural.🤷🏼‍♀️ Kinda distracting but I’m toughing it out. Also, this production company concentrates WAAAAY too much on their custom music interludes that are entirely too long (and awkward). I skip. Would be elevated with these elements tightened up. Actors are great, though!
