Jay and Ambridge arrive at the quarantine zone in White Ranch. Since it's late, they decide to get some sleep before searching for Ambridge's parents. But when Jay awakens, he finds Ambridge is searching without him. Kylie ends up keeping Jay busy by teaching him archery.
