Some of the short stories have been quite enjoyable, but all of the voice acting is always good. More importantly, Chrysalis is hands down the best sci-fi story on this whole app. No other production comes close.

Love this podcast so much. It beats most visual sci-fi media hands down. They did a short season 4 and nothing since. I would love for a new season. Crossing my fingers that you all come back.

This is a review of the third season chrysalis. I’m not really interested in short form anthology so I just started writing in at season three as suggested by the description. I have to say that the story was one of the most compelling science fiction tales I have encountered in a long time. It’s rare that something is so able to capture what humanity is especially when looking at it through the lens of a post apocalyptic disaster zone. I also very much enjoyed the play with form with large segments coming as first person narration in interspersed with duologues and trilogues That felt like they were pulled straight from a screenplay. If the first episode feels somewhat slow stay with it, because there’s a lot of world building that has to happen figuratively and literally. The voice talent is excellent and no one overstays their welcome or over performs their part. I really hope they produce more full season productions like this at Gunpowder & Sky. I will be anxiously following.

Amazing acting — Matthew Wolf and Corey Hawkins are brilliant — gorgeous soundscape, lush production. In all, 10 out of 10.

Probably my favorite sci-fy drama I’ve ever listened to and such a beautiful story, Also, it was so refreshing to not hear filler cuss words like most other sci-fy dramas!

I like the stories a lot, but the special effects overpower the narrative a lot of the time, making it really hard to follow the story.

This is easily the best podcast I’ve listened to. I listen to podcasts at work 8 hours a day. I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts and this is the best one I’ve ever listened to. The third season is a masterpiece! The first and second seasons are amazing as well. I can not wait for more. I’ve never even considered paying for a podcast but I would for this one 100% if that were available. There’s nothing even close.

I binged every episode in 2 days. There hasn’t been anything new in over 6 months. Are y’all planning to put out more?

Dust continues to push an LGBTQ narrative in their pod casts. Why is every main character gay? It’s old and I stop listening as soon as they make it known. This pod cast hasn’t turned out any good content in awhile due to their insistence on a political agenda.

Great story supported by great and intelligent writing with out all of the Hollywood deprivation.

Beautiful and super cool story writing. Except there’s lengthy ads at the beginning and the middle of every episode. Really ruins it. Can’t listen to while falling asleep because of this. I spent over a year using dust episodes for falling asleep. And then they made it so every 10 minutes of listening was a jarring ad. I would have much preferred a link to patreon where I could have donated to suppose them. Totally unusable now. Very sad. It’s a good podcast otherwise.

There’s some great stories in here but Chrysalis is some truly outstanding work in science fiction. Amazing sound design and narration.

I did not even know who Corey Hawkins was before listening to DUST. Regardless, this has got to be some of his best work.

Dust is definitely my top podcast for original content, production quality as well as voice actor quality. I love the podcast content. I also suggest checking out the DUST video content on YouTube for some short films that are really out of this world they even have a app on Roku where you can also view the short films and all of their other video content.

Please publish more, I’m fielding over here. Also, as a father, get a box of tissues before listening to hard choices <3.

Really miss this podcast. Was waiting for season 4 and the last 3 episodes to prelude into season 4 were good. Really good. I really hope this podcast continues and gets going again. I miss it so much.

I freaking love sci fi but sometimes it get repetitive . Same ideas same concepts . But season 3 chrysalis was one of the coolest spins on the AI storyline I have heard or read . Fell in love with the voice acting and story line .

Seasons 1 and 3 are captivating. Season 2 was a fun idea, but many of the stories felt too similar to each other with not enough “meat on their bones.” You could listen to several in season 2 and then move on to season 3.

Got tired of self-help books, chatty podcasts, and streaming services. Was looking for something different. SO GLAD I stumbled across this podcast! Season 1 was good, Season 2 was intriguing hearing to hear their different fates, but I gotta say I was totally enthralled with Season 3 (Chrysallis)!!! I can only hope that could one day become a live-action film. I had no idea what direction it was gonna go in to wrap the journey up. Actors were amazing and the sound production was perfect (IMHO). Definitely gonna be recommending this to as many folks as I can. Fingers crossed for SEASON 4!!!

After binging this podcast all I can say is soooooooo good

Each season is a different sci-fi concept; Each season nails it on the head. Was looking for an entertaining sci-fi podcast and after following an advertisement from another podcast, I gave it a go. Not a single disappointment. High quality voice acting combined with imaginative and creative futuristic stories entwined with compelling emotional gears to propel the individual stories, or in the case of "Chrysalis", the story's entirety forward. I love seeing (or hearing) people's ideas of the future and these anthologies take a diverse, scenic route through those ideas. Burned through the first three seasons in a little over a day and can't wait to see what the next season brings! Very well done!

What’s behind the hatch…!?!?! You know you’ve got a good hook when 20 minutes of content translates to hours of mental processing of potential explanations and plot twists!! Great 3 episode appetizer. Looking forward to a full season!

I don't know how they manage to do it but these people manage to make me nearly weep with pride when they speak on humanity and our ability for compassion. Just one ship makes me proud to be a human and I'll never get to see anything like that in my life. If that isn't worth 5 stars then I don't know what is.

Everything about this is excellent. The stories are so thought out and creative. This new season…wow. Satisfyingly cringe.

Extremely well made and interesting. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Love this Sci-fi stuff. I just dread them getting political, as all good entertainment seems to do eventually these days.

I’ve enjoyed everything from Dust, but dang. This new mini-season is off to a crazy start (Beyond The Tattered Veil Of The Stars). I didn’t really get the first couple minutes, but I’m so glad I stuck it out. Once it made sense it just got better and better, and that ending/cliffhanger… 🤯

First Episode Lots of young bad acting cringe factor squared. The premise is lame. Better acting in the past. Loved all previous stories and actors.

Amazing podcast. The stories are original. The voice acting and audio are great. This podcast really gives you a lot to think about and consider. It’s so different from other fiction based stories in that it makes you question how we as humans see the world and our place in it. Perhaps this might be too heavy for certain folks, but for me it’s simply perfect.
