Fantastic
This podcast is perfection. I’m late to the game, and just now finding it/ listening from the beginning. It is a fantastic listen as a comedy podcast just for the sake of comedy. But it’s also great both for people who are new to dnd and wanting to learn about creative game play, as well as seasoned veterans of RPGs. It’s just fun! They don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, and every episode is filled with hilarious moments that literally make you laugh out loud. This podcast has inspired and reminded me to think of dnd as more of an experience rather than a puzzle to win as efficiently as possible. More than worth the listen!

I Love All of You!
This podcast is so good and always knows how to make me laugh, or hit me right in the feelings. I support them on Patreon, but I come here and listen first for the great ad reads.

Fav Podcast EVER
I’ve been a loyal listener since the end of season one (2021) and it’s still my favorite podcast ever. It’s so funny, but also heartfelt and serious. Love all the cast and guest stars. Even the Patreon is worth it.

Awesome podcast!
I’ve been listening since season one and I have to say no other dnd podcast has kept me nearly as entertained as dungeons and daddies. Also season 4 is awesome so far, what a great concept and first episode. Can’t wait to see where it ends up!

I got mildly emotional when I saw this in my feed and started listening. It's so rod-damn funny, the grandpa one liners, Beth 100%. Thank you so much for making this show 🤣You all are hysterical.

Love these Daddies
When I started playing D&D back in August, my DM recommended I listen to this podcast. I quickly fell in love with it and binge listened to every episode, subscribed to the Patreon, and listened to the bonus content too. This podcast is extremely entertaining and makes me literally burst out laughing multiple times when listening. It also has an insane amount of heart and has even made me cry if I’m being honest. It helped me learn a little more about playing D&D, especially with the role playing aspect & made me have courage to get into character & have fun with it in our campaign. 1000/10 recommend listening to this podcast! I hope one day I’ll get the honor of being able to attend a live show. Thank you, Dungeons & Daddies for bringing so much joy into my life, especially in a time where reality isn’t the best.

Amazing show
Never fails to make me laugh
1 sip bad for me
Great show!
The show is great, season 1 was phenomenal, season two was great to listen to, season 3 was a great way to show how things dont always go your way. I read other reviews and its a whole bunch of complaining, if you dont like the show, dont listen to it? Beth being the center of attention is only because you idiots can actually listen to the others storys. Also, if you make something great and people like this one person, straying away from the person is bad business, usually i dont care abt others opinions (still dont) this show is so near and dear to my heart i feel i have to put my opinion out there.

My favorite show!
This show is even better than the angry monkey show.

Still so good!
This show is great; I’ve been listening for quite awhile and it’s amazing how it’s always still so funny! And whoever is GMing is always crazy talented! So creative all the time creating twists and turns like I’ve never been able to in a campaign. These guys are incredible, give em a listen!

Not half bad but not amazing either
Intro is far too long. Spending 15 minutes to have Will interrupt with a joke that only he thinks is funny is really annoying. Once they get to the storyline it’s funny. Don’t really care for their politics though (I don’t care what side of the isle you’re on, shut up and roll the dice.) Sad that they rely so heavily on Beth’s character the way they do to move the story along. Will is not as funny as he thinks he is. Anthony seems genuinely uninterested a majority of the time both as a character and as a DM. Matt and Freddie are the only reason I continue to listen to this podcast.

Copied material isn’t funny; abuse isn’t humorous
Whether it’s Freddie swiping names and jokes from NADDPod (while complaining about how popular others are) or Anthony casually making a joke of spousal abuse in the 1950s the show lost a lot of luster by season 3. S1 and S2 were solid and Beth did an amazing job. Loved the music. Update: read up on Anthony Burch’s controversies both personal and professional, it makes that kind of joke even worse.

Top-tier dumb “DnD” podcast
Dungeons and Daddies ruined other DnD podcasts for me. I appreciate the big “yes and” energy to this podcast. As DMs, Anthony and Will either begrudgingly or happily allow the dumbest most absurd canon and bend the rules to land the joke- something I’ve not found in other similar podcasts. I just relistened to the car chase scene in S2- comedy gold, and unlikely to be allowed to happen in other podcasts that center the story and game mechanics over the potentiality of the joke (in other words, other comedy DnD podcasts take themselves too seriously). It’s difficult to say how much I appreciate the dynamics of this group and what each individual brings to the pod. I’ve tried other unserious DnD podcasts, and after so many episodes I just switch back to Dungeons and Daddies. Everything else is too serious. Dungeons and Daddies is carrying me through the most difficult parts of grad school. Please don’t ever stop.

mean and abrasive
Loved s1. But by s3, everyone except Beth and Will are just in a competition to one-up each other with how rude, loud, and chaotic they can be. It's no longer funny, just uncomfortable. I don't like to psychoanalyze, maybe they're still really having fun, but it's not fun to *listen to* Will and Beth trying to tell an interesting funny story while 3 dudes shout over them and try to kick over the sandcastle.

Love it !
When is the next season

not very good anymore
season one was phenomenal, but it only went down from there. freddie became insufferable, matt isn’t a good dm, anthony is abusive, and beth keeps being the center of every campaign. i miss the s1 energy and structure- s2 and s3 became increasingly more out-of-control and random. maybe the pod should just end.
WHAT COLOR IS CLEAR TAPE
Hilarious and Enjoyable
I am still only in season one but when someone I know told me about this podcast I thought it sounded cool but now I just listen to it regularly. It has hilarious moments along with some deep moments. I loved the humor because all tv and movie media make dnd all serious but when I play I joke around and it is an enjoyable time. And this podcast really reflects that.

Great storyline. Captivating role play.
Ima be honest, my friend showed me this. But that doesn’t matter, what matters is that I listen. This podcast was the perfect cure to my boredom on account of me joining the fandom during s3. It helped me not search for some better song, and instead find a great podcast. This is something I bing-listened (is that a real term?) in three months and got through most the entire podcast. It is amazing.

The podcast I most look forward to
I found you guys just after the start of season 2. I love the improv and the blend of insanity and truly emotional moments. I recommend your show all the time! I also love the bonus stuff at the start of every episode (it reminds me of the bonus bits at the end of the Captain GameShow podcast ❤️). I listened to S2 straight through and I didn’t go back to listen to season one. If you’re wondering, it wasn’t as confusing as one might think — it was just clear there were a lot of inside jokes I wasn’t getting (which isn’t super uncommon for this show AMIRIGHT, Beth?) I binged S1 after season 3 started, so I was listening to old S1 episodes in between new S3 episodes. I’m now re-listening to Season 2, and this time I get to say “OH! I recognize that!” along with the players. Sorry, long comment I know, especially since the subject line pretty much says it all, but I just wanted to know how much I joy your show brings me.

Good
I really love the podcast

Wrong about this podcast in the best possible way
I avoided this podcast for a while because I thought it was four normcore Dad’s roleplaying themselves in a DND world. How wrong I was. Everything you could want from a DND podcast; from Rock Facts to complete and utter derailment of the DMs plans nearly every episode. Highly recommend.

Good minus One cast member
The good: fun stories, fun twists, awesome cultural references The bad: not really DND and the cast is dysfunctional and actively try to hurt each other and make each other fail. The ugly(not physically, don’t know what she looks like): Beth May almost makes this unlistenable, I don’t think she knows she’s on DND podcast, just riffs and does bits. Also the joking and the complete unserious energy of the podcast makes any and all dramatic beats completely fail.

Disappointing and annoying
I made it several episodes into The Peachyville Horror before the unnecessary murder of an NPC (Jenkins) by one of the PCs and lack of any reaction or response by the other characters made me start to realize how deeply unlikeable a few of the PCs were and how little I cared what happened to them. The story and game play had a lot of potential, and I did learn a bit about the Call of Cthulu system, but the show as a whole started to become deeply annoying, unfunny, and taxing to spend time on. Obviously, a lot of people seem to like it, but it's not going to be for everyone.

Exceptional
Found while I was looking for a DnD podcast appropriate for my daughter. It is NOT - but I have never laughed so much. Perfect for adults.

Great Show minus Freddie
LOVED Season 1 so much and Season 2 was pretty good too. But while Freddie was annoying in season 1, he really becomes unbearable in Season 2. He keeps cutting everyone off and refuses to read the room! Looking forward to binge-ing season 3 next and I absolutely love everybody else on the show!!

Seriously?
Tried season three. I quit after the men were complaining about only two genders being available in the game. Just silly.

Roadtrip
Just relistened to the call of cthulhu season 1-29 on a road trip from LA to Austin and it was amazing. I was laughing the whole way. 24hrs there and 30hrs back (with a stop at the Grand Canyon). The first time that I enjoyed the way back just as much as the way there. Always a blast with these idiots (affectionate).

Perfect first season
An amazing first season thst was absolutely hilarious and it was great to see all the players learn and create fun rules that have helped me have fun with my with my own dnd group. Season two was also pretty good but I found it was inferior in almost every way but not too bad but I felt some of the drama was unnecessary and they tried too hard to make teenage drama work and overall the characters werent as solid and likeable as season one characters and even irrelevant characters from season one felt better and season two also had political jokes that were unfunny and really unnecessary since this podcast so the jokes felt out of place, not to mention they aged horribly. Edit: just started season three and am only a few episodes in but I am loving it so far. I’ve heard complaints about Matt and Freddie but I don’t have any so far and will is just as good of a DM as Anthony was and not to mention an incredibly compelling story like season one with great characters, especially Trudy.

Favorite D&D Podcast
I started listening a week or so ago from the beginning and I’m on like the 40th episode. (They’re doing the Pokémon Episode now) This is the only playcast I’ve enjoyed for longer than a few episodes and gets me through 40 hours of work a week with a smile on my face. Beth May and Matt are my favorite, but I do wish they vibed better cause they’re both hilarious. Anyway, excited to join their patreon once I catch up. I keep sending my friends Ron Stampler fan art and they have no idea what I’m excited about.

I’m in love with season 3 it’s funny scary and keeps me on my toes! PS I love Will he’s so good as a DM in call of cuthulue and is a great actor, writer and player! I absolutely loved this. It was originally recommended to me by a friend and I immediately fell in love with this. I would recommend to anyone you know because this is absolutely hilarious. Amazing
I have listened to the first season 3 times. Anthony is a genius writer and DM and the way a D&D comedy podcast made me cry… Will, Freddy, Beth, and Matt are nothing but flawless. I am I love with the Peachvill horror and Will as the DM (or whatever) is so fuxing good. I can not wait to hear the full story and relishes to it. I love you all and am so happy everytine there is a new ep.

I have never felt so much emotional whiplash
I like it when the stuff I listen to take a serious turn, but Jesus Christ, the serious stuff in this is so effectively done, and is then cut through with a guy pissing in an old man’s helmet to drown him. Wonderful job making me sad and then immediately make me laugh

Patreon is worth it
This is one of my all-time favorite podcast each season has something unique to give, but I want to give a shout out particularly to all of the one shots and bonus content you get as a patriot because they are truly hilarious and worth every penny! I would love for some bonus content around Reddit stories or 90 day fiancé! Putting that out there!

S3 E19 - Continuity Issue?
I love this show and would recommend to anyone who just needs a good laugh. But is it me or is there a continuity issue at the end of S3 E19 when Will says that Brian escaped with his car? Didn’t the party specify they slashed all the tires of the cars in the parking lot at the library except one on the far end? They should’ve done a luck roll for the odds of if it was Brian’s car that was left unscathed.

Loved this show
Season one was epic, but season two felt like Freddie was trying to take over as DM. He just kept meta gaming and Anthony sounded defeated. Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Still good just annoying moments.
