C’mon. Or just go solo. ——————————————— I used to love love love this podcast. Ferris has got to go though. She’s so uninformed on everything while sounding like she’s trying to be the one in charge. It’s beyond painful trying to listen to her.

Listening to this podcast makes my IQ drop. Not because its subject matter is celeb gossip, but because the host is brain dead. It wasn’t enough to make me unsubscribe until this “interview” with Dr. Alexandra Gold on parasocial relationships. This was by far the worst interview I have ever heard. I had second hand embarrassment for the actual doctor in the room. Aside from the fact that the host appears to have brought the guest on to confirm her anecdotal opinion that fandoms are diagnosably mentally unwell, she kept asking extremely pointed, uneducated questions then disagreeing with the science. She even implied the doctor was misusing the word parasocial. And don’t get me started on the grammar. It’s VERSUS. JFC.

The reason we all listen is for celebrity news. I have no need for special guests or literally any of Deux’s personal life or opinions. Maybe make that a separate pod and FOR THE LOVE add timestamps so we can at least skip over the extra banter.

I cannot listen anymore. There isn’t any useful gossip. Also, the way she the F word is annoying. Buh bye.

Hannah gives off “I’m not like the other girls” vibes, she acts like she knows nothing but I can tell it’s a front. She keeps up with pop culture but she’s afraid of looking like the rest of us. I like when Deux calls her out.

I hate the voicemails, it’s so hard to hear when you play them. The audio is way off.

I used to love listening to Deux U and still like it for all the tea she shares, but every episode, there’s some sort of rant about the audience, or we get lectured to “use our brains”, or she complains “I don’t know how many times I have to say this…”. I get the frustration, but every time I turn on an episode I feel like I’m getting at least 5 minutes of lecturing and it’s tiring.

This used to be a great podcast. All she does now is rant, complain and talk down to her listeners. What type of person says “use your brains” to people who are spending their time listening to her podcast. Girl needs therapy. And she never really has any new tea that isn’t already out there.

She has no credible sources, just incels that email her threads from Reddit. Meanwhile she hides under the guise of anonymous. Honestly, it’s all so stupid. I’m dumber for having listened.

Had not listened in a while, but since coming back the last four or five episodes have all been filled with rants about how annoying her followers and listeners are. The tirade is getting old.

Used to be a great podcast. Spends lots of time berating the people that send her emails that make her mad. I mean she’s not wrong, but we don’t want to hear you complain constantly. She needs a co-host. Hannah piping in every 10 min with one word answers is cringe. We miss Farrah.

I used to listen to this podcast as background noise, but in the last few episodes, I’ve realized that the host really enjoys putting down her listeners. The same people who have helped her build this platform. In today’s episode, she called us stupid. The way that she rants and talks directly to her fans in a demeaning way when they call her out for how she runs her business is so insufferable. Not listening anymore.

I’m so confused why 85% of the podcast is dedicated to ranting about people writing in about celebrities. Seems like this comes with the territory given the focus of the podcast. Otherwise I love the pod and am a weekly listener but it’s getting hard to listen to. There are rude and annoying people in any field, please focus on what your audience comes here for — listening to your insight and perspective on celebrity news.

Love the pod. I just wanted to say that I thought it was a little cringey when Hannah was talking about her substance misuse and you said you understood as you binged in college. I dont think it is the same thing and it felt like you were invalidating her, IMO. Either way, love the pod.

I like the podcast but she rants often about people not liking or believing her which gets old, isn’t that just part of the gig?

Revisited this podcast today just to be reminded why I stopped listening in the first place. She loves to tell you about all the stuff she knows but can’t share with you. So boring, definitely better pop culture and entertainment podcasts out there.

Love listening to this podcast, especially during my nightly routine! It always helps me get out of my own head to listen to the problems of celebs. I appreciate the host’s outlook and humor.

Love listening to your podcast! It’s fun having light hearted subjects to listen to and get all the gossip! Feel you are pretty neutral when it matters!!

I enjoy listening, she seems very credible but she is yelling the entire time. The only time I remember her not yelling the entire time was during the December 7th episode where she was asking a publicist for her opinion on how TS’s publicist handled the “debunking of TS and Joe’s alleged wedding.” She sounded like she had her tail between her legs, if she could keep this “victim/I’m in trouble” tone for the rest of the episodes- this would be *chef’s kiss* Back when she had her co-host, she was also rude to her; it becomes awkward for the listeners. I don’t blame her for leaving- I hope she’s doing well.

Her coverage of the It Ends With Us Drama is very biased to Blake which is fine but admit it. Maybe stop acting like a 5 year old and arguing with all your followers and blocking people who have a different outlook. Completely disgusting with her behavior of blocking anyone with a different opinion. She should really control her voice inflections when she talks about people she doesn’t like, it’s quite obvious.

I really used to enjoy these episodes but lately it seems like all she does is lash out at the audience for asking pop culture questions. Maybe take an extended break? People are curious and you’ve made a career out of it. Be grateful.

So insanely transparent. She is clearly paid to take sides, gossip and protect the payer. Dumbest guests, friends, husbands of. She has biased takeaways and is laughably incompetent. There is no research, just dumb speculative word salad. So clear she is friends with so many reality ppl and will defend them (she’s paid by them folks!) and diss the enemy of her friend’s. She will block her own audience if they have any doubts or legit questions. She is a little, uninformed gnat trying to keep up with the actual legit podcasters.

I always listen because I want to hear gossip, but the host seriously is so intense about bad comments or feedback - like chill, you’re in the public eye this is bound to happen. She’s so rude to her often very loyal followers.

You are so rude to your guest. I don’t think it’s something you’re being aware of it’s just second nature to you. The things you say to some guest are so awkward and weird. You were also mean to co host no wonder she left. You put people in the hot seat and question them in the weirdest way. If I was a guest I wouldn’t come back. Asking Abe if he gets called creepy and then discussing how he comes off as creepy was rude idc if you’re friends with him. But what’s wild if you get the slightest criticism or rude comment you’ll go on and on and complain about your listeners it’s crazy. Please don’t do this anymore if you don’t enjoy it.

I like the Instagram page but this podcast is painful. The host’s voice is not meant for “radio” and has an annoying vocal fry. It reminds me of listening to annoying people at a hotel pool.

I used to look forward to listening but Deux has become so negative. There is a lot complaining about listeners, frustration, and overall negative energy coming through. Wishing you the best and maybe a break.

I’ve listened to Deux U every week for a couple years now but recently stopped. Deux spends way too much time griping at her audience for not knowing all her various platforms and for asking repetitive questions (e.g., Taylor, Bieber, etc). I understand it’s frustrating for her, but it’s making the pod unlistenable. Most of us are just here for our weekly listen. We’re not scouring all her various other accounts, lives, newsletters, etc. Stick to what you do best — giving us the dirt!

If you are not going to be unbiased, then maybe this isn’t the profession for you. Your reporting on Blake vs. Justin is COMICAL. I know you state that you’re team Blake, but that isn’t fair reporting and you implying that Justin is dramatic or a liar is pathetic.

I used to enjoy this podcast but Deux is the most negative and overly sensitive person I’ve had the displeasure of listening to on a podcast. Every single episode she’s ranting and talking down to her listeners about what they need to get through their head, get a grip on, etc. It’s irritating and exhausting to listen to. Write it in YOUR own diary rather than dumping it on your listeners who just want to hear about blind items/pop culture. She takes deep offense to anyone who questions or challenges her. Don’t even get me started on the Backgrid debacle.

This podcast has gone off the rails in the past few months and it’s a great listen if you’re a fan of hot messes. *Frequent audio issues for both guests and Deux - two straight weeks with a broken mic 😂 *Lack of production - what, exactly, does her producer do if she isn’t researching simple facts and news headlines? *20-30% of the runtime is pre-recorded ads. I listen to 3+ hour podcasts that run less ads. Lastly, Deux harbors a massive resentment towards her followers/listeners. On last week’s episode, she spent 10+ minutes lambasting her community for asking questions about specific people/couples too often, during a Q+A segment 😂. She capped the rant off by saying “Some of you need to get off your phones and get a boyfriend or girlfriend.” Rude!

Every episode there is at least one 15 minute rant about how everyone needs to chill out & stop “attacking” her. Kinda think she needs to take her own advice & not take herself so seriously..
