1 star not for the podcast itself just because we started season 2 so long ago and then ????? Nothing? Despite season 2 seemingly already having been fully funded? Am I missing something?

How are you still taking donations and you haven't put out episodes in years? You keep posting all of these other episodes from other podcast, but no one wants to see that. I feel like you only do that so you can keep this podcast "alive" and collect more donations. Put out new episodes or just end this podcast and stop taking donations for a project you are putting zero effort into anymore. I loved this shows premise (over 4+ years ago) but these antics are ridiculous.

I just recently discovered this show and I’m already a big fan. It’s so fanciful and darkly funny and wonderfully weird. It’s rare that I actually laugh out loud watching or listening to a show and Death by Dying makes me laugh out loud more than once per episode. If you like gallows humor definitely give this show a listen!

This is probably one of my favorite podcast ever. I’ve gotten so invested in the unique characters and the voice acting is incredible. The story is so fun and they explain everything perfectly. I binged this in a weekend and wasn’t even a tiny bit disappointed. It’s the perfect mixture of comedy and spookiness. I also feel like there’s a good message behind some episodes. So excited for more episodes!

I love/hate how stupid this show is 👹 Seriously, I ask myself at least twice during each episode how and why I’m listening to something so utterly ridiculous and stupid, but you just can’t get away from this show! You’ll hate how hilarious you find it and will judge yourself at times for enjoying it. It’s absolutely brilliant! Please come out with more episodes ❤️

Death by Dying is a truly unique show that’s delightful, and also spooky, it's clever, and also a bit icky (some body horror, but imo not in grotesque excess). For a show with an intentionally breezy attitude towards its many gruesome murders, it's surprisingly heartfelt, and moving at times. The dialogue is quick and smart, a witty combo of dark topics and random silliness - 10/10 recommend. A really enjoyable listen, and then there's that one episode that unexpectedly made me cry like a baby (in a good way)! If you like dark humor, this is perfectly up your alley, but beware there may be some man-eating cats in the aforementioned alley.

Death By Dying is an amazing, well-written podcast that can go from funny and morbid to story-driven and morbid at the tip of a hat. the narrator is engaging and witty, the cast is impeccably voiced, and the plotline will keep you hooked.

This show is fun, clever, well written, well performed, and SO well edited. It takes you into a world that is so fun and heartbreaking. You laugh, you cry, and you fall in love over and over again with these amazing characters. Easily one of the best narrative fiction podcasts to ever exist.

Initially deterred by the over-the-top ads at the head of the episode, I kept listening, and I’m hooked. This show is so funny. I keep having to cover my mouth from laughing out loud at work. Looove Pastor Jeff’s stories.

I went through this show in two days because it was so amazing! I got a good laugh of how it was narrated and everything is well described. 10/10 recommend a listen.

there’s something about his show that’s comforting to the umpteenth degree. the obituary writer is a fantastic narrator and the subject matter, though heavy, is handled excellently. it’s a charmingly bizarre twist on something that many of us fear! i’ve listened to death by dying more times than i can count — it’ll make you laugh, it’ll surprise you, and it’ll hold a special place in your heart.

Even though it was pretty short, I loved every second I listened to this. I laughed out loud on so many occasions but then it would flip around and be emotional and sweet, I cried at the last episode of season one, it was heartbreaking and so well written. Such an interesting premise with excellent execution! Fans of Welcome to Night Vale will love this show

The writing and acting of this show puts it heads and shoulders above most other comedy shows out there. Lots of really funny moments!

This story is both funny and heartfelt and weird. All the charters are great and the world is somewhere I wish I was. PLUS it’s embarrassing to admit but I messaged “OW” from the website once while I was going through a tough time. I used the message to process some stuff under the guise of asking a question and forgot about it. Imagine my surprise when I got a message back about a month later. It was literally the sweetest thing and I did cry. Either way I love this podcast and I love the people that run it
