I have been following DL on FB and IG for sometime and really appreciate his content. Recently, I decided to give his podcast a try. After listening to a few episodes, I had to stop because of his tendency to interrupt his guests in order to insert his own anecdote. This pattern makes listening to his podcast difficult because you loose track of the narrative. DL is very knowledgeable and has hosted interesting guests, but the constant tendency to interrupt them mid-thought is annoying.

David is engaging and amiable, of course that would come through on his Podcast. I loved his IG lives during Covid. His experience with French culture and food with an American perspective is always enjoyable, no matter what he’s up to. I’d love to see him have his own show where he travels around France, highlighting the everyday instead of just the glorified version we see so much about, hello French truck stops for lunch. I await for each podcast excited, and hope I get to hear his cute little giggle.

I have been following David Lebovitz for a while now, and truly, I really enjoy listening to him and reading his books. He is a down to earth and easy going, and he calls out all kinds of amazing and amusing anecdotes about French culture and life in Paris. I enjoy his recipes, his food shopping experiences, his expeditions, and now, his podcasts. Thank you, David!

I enjoyed listening to the recent episode with Phil Rosenthal, who is a national treasure. However, I was frustrated with David when he interrupted a story Phil was telling about his parents and eggs to interject his own story. We never got the end of Phil’s story because he was interrupted. Mind your manners and maybe let your guests finish their story before telling yours, they are after all your guest.

Very interesting and enjoyable podcast. David has a wonderful conversational style with his guests and gives us a great little glimpse into Paris.

Lebovitz has a wonderful interview style and personality that complements every guest he invites to join him. Warm, sincere, smart, funny and thoroughly entertaining.
