Wish that Dateline would host all of their shows like this one! Thank you for shedding light on missing cases. Too many go unnoticed. Keep the episodes coming!

I knew some of the stories already, but did learn some new details here. Great way to bring attention to case that haven’t been solved. And I can listen to Mankiewicz tell a story all day, every day.

Show should be called something different. Like “ Pieces of Sht” or maybe “Stool Samplers”.

The producers should go back to making the orginal Datelines like this🙃 my only complaint is that the episodes don't always go deep enough

This podcast series is wonderfully executed and strikes an incredible balance between being informative and captivating, yet also respectful and deeply poignant. The narrator not only has the perfect voice for this podcast but is also a person who seems genuinely kind and compassionate, which is so important and invaluable to have as someone reporting within the true crime sphere.

Thoughtful and impactful podcast that centers the victims and their families. Thank you Josh for being such an effective narrator!

I love Dateline and all of its spinoffs and have been watching/listening in some form or another since i was in junior high,(just had my 35th birthday, for comparison) however I’m not sure I’ll be tuning in too often after this, definitely will skip the “missing in america” eps. bc the episode covering Danielle’s disappearance in the NJ Pine Barrens gave me the worst feeling I’ve ever had after watching a dateline episode, I’m not saying this case isn’t important or anything like that, maybe should’ve been handled differently with minimal or very little overall coverage from the mother(not saying she shouldn’t be involved bc her input is invaluable,but )her ep was very hard to watch and not on account of the subject matter— there’s a good majority of the interview where she is crying or so overcome with emotions that she can’t even speak and you really have to strain to decipher what’s being said. Not good when here the story is being told and spread along via word of mouth and speaking ONLY. Also believe there may or may not be very strong denial happening(can’t blame the mother of course )when it comes to the obvious stated lifestyle and activities she surrounded herself with at the time of her disappearance and who she decided to let in her realm… people have been disappeared for MUCH much less than she had going on. The whole episode felt almost predatory, like being witness to something we as viewers shouldn’t be privy to and actually didn’t ask to be.

I really love this podcast and what it is accomplishing. Josh is so empathetic and gentle with the families. I am so hopeful that this show will bring significant results.

I love this branch of dateline they haven’t disappointed me yet and the missing in America is absolute amazing. I hope that this will actually help people get found or find the families answers to questions they may have!!! Good job again dateline!! I love Josh M voice. I could listen to him all day lol 😂

I’ve been patiently waiting for this podcast to come back and so far, it has not disappointed me. Listened to the first two episodes and both were so good. I never heard of Teekah’s case before, but it was such an interesting listen. Such a sad story and I hope that little girl is alive somewhere. GOOD JOB AGAIN DATELINE!!

The more people who look, the better the chances of finding someone’s loved one. Looking forward to updates. Positive Dateline can get at least one and that’s worth it.

Dateline tends to cover more popular cases, and in many cases the victims are not minorities. I love that they’re spotlighting what these families are going through, and bringing awareness to all types of missing people. No one is less important.

I’m just 13 years old yet it still bugs me that no one almost didn’t care about what happened to him yet it just feels like that one person is for sure hiding something. For example Sam. G, he kept on talking trash about Terrence not doing his job write to his parents and just before Terrence left for Idaho he had a major panic attack. And some people say that he walked of the side of a mountain into the woods, but there is still something wrong about that because we all know he’s better dead than alive out there so he knew what was coming. So maybe Terrence caught some of the trash talk about his job and him saying that his parents don’t appreciate him, then maybe he felt extremely depressed which could lead to suicide or doing dumb things. Or he fell into an abandoned mine shaft and he got so worried he knew he would die. I hope this thought might help you guys find out where Terence went. God bless his whole family with the best of luck.

So far, this is my least favorite of the various dateline podcast series. The stories are tragic, and hopefully the families will eventually find closure as a result of the information presented here. However, most of these true crime stories lack the depth of the TV series and they are unsolved. Without some resolution in finding a guilty party, the listener may feel unsatisfied.

When I heard the preview of Terrance Woods. I had to hear it, because I know Idaho well. His case has to be easy to solve. I pray an investigator will dive into his case ASAP. I can’t believe there are 10-12 people on the mountain that day and they aren’t talking. One of them knows what happened. My theory is he was hurt intentionally and by who. He didn’t suddenly loose his marbles and run down a mountain. Had he done that. If that was true. Why did those 10-12 people not make sure they found him, rather than leave him on the mountain? They had been working with him. Did no one care? Had I been there, I would have called in for help and no one would have left until we found them. Even if there is no cell service. I guarantee someone had a Satellite Phone. Even if it was via one of the cars Satellite ability. “On Star”. I wish I was an investigator. I know Payne Lindsey would find out what actually took place. This story is missing so much. It’s painful to hear this and know that no one is doing anything. Or are they?

I enjoy the show, but unfortunately the theme is always about race, gender or sexuality. If that’s what you want the show to be about, why not include that in the title or show description?

I try to figure out these mysteries to help out and they are difficult to figure out. I really like this podcast and I hope to hear more episodes. I am sorry for all of the families out there who have missing people in their lives. May god bless them.

My prayers to the Garcia family and Arelie. I pray she is found safe and the family is brought peace. Dateline failed to mention though that the Salinas Police Department are not only understaffed but they are operating in one of the most crime ridden cities in California. Salinas Police and Monterey County Sheriff are esteemed organizations. Monterey County Weekly is also not known to be accurate or ethical in their reporting, speaking from personal experience.

Thanks Josh - Finally I hear more info about this missing local lady. Doesn’t sound like SHE drove her car and left it down Hwy 1. Where is she? Why are local LE not updating local media - somebody knows something. We’re going on 2 years “missing”. ARELIE didn’t go missing by herself. We need ALERTS on our phones like the ones for “wind”. Tourists here get lots of media attention especially when they drive into the ocean. I hope this podcast brings new information.

I do appreciate the professionalism that Dateline offers however I agree with other reviewers. Find the missing kids that the elite are trafficking. Find the kids that are coming over the border and no one cares to report about.

I hate this podcast and not because it’s bad. But because of the format and the content, I know that no answers are coming by the end of each episode. I end up feeling really bad for the family. This podcast series also opened my eyes to the amount of missing people in the United States. It’s unreal.

The app says this updates weekly however mine is not showing one since Nov 2023……it is now June 2024??? At minimum take down that it says updates weekly. That is just a reminder to us all that it is definitely not updated weekly, heck not even monthly or quarterly. Maybe semi-annual? Oh wait not even that!

If you really want to make an impact, find out what has happened to the 85,000 missing unaccompanied minors who crossed the southern border. Or check out the 450,000 minors placed by HHS into hands of people with dubious background checks. Find the ones who are being trafficked or used for cheap labor. These kids lives are on the line, politics be damned!

I love listening to mystery stories and podcasts but I’m not a big fan of people that go missing and I don’t know how anyone in their right mind would be stupid enough to kidnap and possibly kill anybody is beyond me and I would think that they would have the common sense to realize that they are going to end up in jail eventuality, so why do something that awful?😡🤬🤬😡😢

Guys - People really like this Podcast. It seems you’ve realized this, but you are not delivering episodes on time. If NBC does not have the bandwidth, get out of the podcast biz!

If you like this podcast, you would love the podcast True Crime Kent. The production value and writing is fantastic and hard to beat. I am sure that true crime Ken will be at the top of your podcast list.

Episodes don’t play on Apple Podcast

I love everything dateline produces. My only issue is if you’re so worried about the missing why do I have to pay subscriptions. I’m pretty sure NBC is doing ok. 👌👍

Halfway through, the audio went off. I see that this has happened to others also. I would think that if anyone could handle the technical aspects of a podcast, it would be NBC!

Audio issues just about every other time I try to play an episode.

Some episodes stop playing part way through. Really a bummer and annoying. It’s hard to start listening wondering if your going to be left wondering. Listening on Apple Podcasts. So disappointed.

The jasmine episode was scary but good at the same time whoever made it did a good job and I love it so much

It would be really nice if you all could provide photos for the episodes to help make it easier for people to know what the missing person looks like. The episode website only takes you to nbc.com. That doesn’t really help.

Please don’t play that song throughout the episode. Once at the beginning is MORE than enough
