Judgmental, arrogant, hypocritical.

The only reason I don’t like weekends is because I don’t get my daily dose! I’ve been hooked since the heather mcdonald saga and haven’t missed an episode since! Dana is my dream neighbor who’d come over for coffee and gossip.

I stumbled across this podcast as I was searching for some celebrity and pop culture gossip. This was during the Blake Lively stuff, and I wasn’t quite sure if this channel was really what I was looking for. But it was when they switched over to the Nancy Guthery coverage that I actually became obsessed. Dana’s take on all the news is exactly what I was looking for. I’m not here for serious news or a journalist report. I want the gossip. I want the opinions. I want the chat. I don’t always agree, but I love hearing every second of her opinions, regardless. It’s like allllll the best tea with a splash of whiskey added here and there. Thanks for keeping this girl entertained and informed. #ChefsKiss

I have always been a pop culture girlie. I enjoy getting to hear tidbits about a variety of what is going on in the pop culture world. I think Dana does a poppin’ job! She is also relatable as a busy mom, just trying to do her best. Thanks for bringing me a daily dose of an enjoyable, informative listen.

From true crime to entertainment and more, we’re interested in all the same things, Dana! Adore you! One tip: we have to be careful with disinformation so we don’t end up being the NYT in Baldoni, spreading false impressions. Walk back accusations of Savannah’s BIL. If he’s not involved, you caused them additional, unnecessary pain. If he is involved, analyze it til the cows come home when that is confirmed, but before them, do the right thing.

I’m leaving this review because I feel like Dana was right when she said people only go out of their way to leave bad reviews. I found Dana from Zack and I now listen to her first. I appreciate her positive energy and approach to life. We don’t always agree on everything and I fast forward through every housewives update but this is a feel good podcast from someone who deserves her flowers!

Love this podcast - it’s a daily “ go to” for ear candy! Dana is fun ,smart , and well connected! Love the opinions ( even when I don’t agree) the hot takes. Highly recommend for a break from all the heavy negativity that’s happening in the world.

Dana’s episodes usually drop around 4:00pm eastern time. She’s the perfect late afternoon pick me up.

Her being a Kelly Dodd and Tamara Judge fan is enough to make anyone lose complete respect. At first, I thought she was sticking up four and complementing Dodd because she was afraid of her. Then as she kept talking, I realized she truly is a stan. Embarrassing.

I legitimately love the topics Dana covers and I assume we’re similar in age, so many of her subjects resonate. However, I do not agree with half of her opinions, especially as time goes it seems to be getting more problematic. I know that’s part of her brand to be unapologetically opinionated but I now find myself abandoning her episodes midway through because she can be really cruel

Way back when I found Dana to be normal, for LA land of illusion anyway. I stopped listening to her go off on half baked discussions with herself using limited vocabulary. Thought I would check in again, and find her a major bore. She’s self absorbed, w/an uninformed worldview. She waxed on about the Justin Baldoni lawsuit ad nauseam, now she’s critiquing Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. No one needs your bush league conclusions.

OK, so I get you want Patreon’s, I get you want people to pay monthly to listen to you. I get that you have to stop in the middle of the story when it gets juicy to say “hey join our patreon to hear the end of the story.” Careful don’t get greedy. A lot of podcasters have figured out how to keep the general listening public happy and their Patreon! if you’re talking during a general public, listen versus a Patreon public listen …… do your announcements for Patreon and for your book clubs, and who won this or that with your Patreons only on your special private channel because clearly the general public doesn’t want to hear about it or have you waste time telling us about it. Just my opinion

I found this podcast without even realizing it was something I’d been looking for. It’s quickly become one I genuinely look forward to listening to during the week. The tone is fun, light, and engaging, and you come across as so genuine with great energy. It brings a little brightness to my day, and I always enjoy tuning in. Thank you for what you do.

I have listened for years, it used to be enjoyable and a must listen everyday. The past few months has drastically changed and it is no longer enjoyable. It has become very opinionated and judgmental and Dana comes across as entitled. It is very evident Dana has not struggled with difficult parenting/child aggression/anger, she hasn’t dealt with elderly family members that crave and desire what little they have of their independence, her marriage is seemingly easy/normal. The judgmental “why’s”, “I would’s”, “who allows”, “why wouldn’t they’s”, they should haves” are extremely isolating for people who have dealt with/are dealing with any of those issues. Until you have been or are going through any of these situations, please stop passing judgement. People who are struggling are already feel isolated, passing these judgments down on them does not make them feel safe to speak about the struggles they are navigating. It’s already a very dark space to be. I hope Dana reads this and is understanding and makes some changes that are not isolating people.

I cannot wait to read your upcoming- HOW TO ACT WHEN YOUR LOVED ONE GOES MISSING! I’m so tired of you critiquing everything about how Nancy Guthries family has reacted, responded, not responded. Have you been in this situation? If you have, you should’ve flown out to Tucson to let everyone know how it they should be acting in this situation. Enough! Your podcast is nonsense.

You are what a pop culture podcaster should be - ENTERTAINING! It’s your podcast. You are certainly entitled to say anything you want about any subject you want.
