I listen to this every night as a 12 year old, even though it scares me, I’m addicted to this podcast, and can you please keep this up and never stop!

Despite these ladies not having a problem with the term “birthing person” being temporarily substituted in for the term “woman” in congressional hearings—-because I guess biology only matters when it’s politically correct and it’s advantageous to true crime—-or using the terminology “undocumented” instead of “illegal”-because I guess it’s okay to break some laws but not others—-this podcast is pretty great. It empowers the viewers to take action and to put pressure on public officials and supports survivors. The best of true crime podcasting, not the “Saw” type of material a lot of horror-centric crime people tend to focus on. This podcast is the humanizing kind that puts the focus where it should be: on victims and survivors. The only major complaint I have is these women have made it clear that political correctness is very important, and often it is that SAME mindset that puts these cases on this unsolved hiatus in the first place. Fascinating.

If a case has been unsolved can you put that in the description or say it in the beginning of the episode? I hate listening to cases that are unsolved

What is up with the (seemingly) bot reviews, griping about politics or liberal ideologies? PEOPLE, if this podcast is not your jam, keep moving along until you find a podcast that suits your personal agenda! This is an easy listen podcast and Brit and Ashley deliver stories in a way that doesn’t leave me feeling traumatized or unnerved. Keep on delivering your magic! You two are the best.

Plagiaristic bubblegum garbage. Do yourselves a favor and listen to Gen Why, The Vanished , 2020, Dateline, just to name a few. Sooooo much better.

Dying at all the reviews saying “too political!” like huh crime is political? it’s… the law? like huh? Are yoh people ok? Anyway I love CJ. I fall asleep every night listening to old ones, which yes is probably not the healthiest, but it works! Ashley and Brit’s storytelling is like fine wine, & only gets better with time. If you’re a REAL true crime girlypop this show is for you.

The best show ever made

I enjoy the content but sometimes the hosts are over the top with fake dramatics. Just tell the story and stop interjecting, it just ruins the flow. I want to hear some of the Indiana stories so I try to come back and listen and then as soon as the fake back and forth starts I just have to stop it. I don't like how Brit pretends to play stupid and how Ashley over dramatically responds to it. More storytelling and less back and forth please!

I’ve been religiously listening to your guys podcast at work. I just finished the Asha degree episode. And just food for thought but did they ever do a deep dive into people at her church? Was the church in the direction she was walking in? U hear a lot of stories about how kids get groomed at church. 🧐

I noticed a 1 star review by someone saying this podcast is too political. Which is funny considering life is political and is so is crime. Anyways, this has been the true crime podcast I had been looking for, real people, real emotions, real stories, real morals, and good dialogue. I have been binging it since 2025 and can say this is the best podcast I’ve ever tuned into. Consider me a junkie, love you Ashley and Brit, “stay weird, be rude, stay alive”.💕

Have been a fan for years but your reporting of the Dianna D’Aiello case really bothered me. Of course Dianna was a victim of a heinous crime but the story has two victims. The way you guys still try to paint Kevin as some sort of bad guy is crazy work. An innocent man spent 16 years behind bars. It feels like you guys are more worried about offending Dianna than being honest about the fact she was wrong and sent an innocent man to prison. I don’t blame her considering the TBI, her obviously laying back down when she saw Gerald thinking it was Kevin, or her potentially being coached while still being vulnerable, are all possibilities. But it’s ok to admit that she was wrong and was the reason an innocent man spent so many years in prison while a monster was free.

Initially stopped listening because on the rare cases where they covered serial killers, it was behind a paywall. Then, I realized that the host had several default themes. They would berate cops and how they dropped the ball when the whole point of the story is to shine light on families and get more police involved to uncover what happened. Then, they would weave their liberal ideology. Don’t care. Just want to know who died how, and why. I see no point in the cohost being here. Britt would ask what did you think about this or what ever happened with that and Ashley would respond “IDK. Did not find anything in my source material.” The best podcast of the brand was AOM. But they have somehow managed to “allegedly” diminish the income actual investigators/investigative journalists were being paid.

The unsolved stories told usually involve police mismanagement that directly cause them to go unsolved. Ashley and Brit never admit that the police regularly hinder investigations and continue to support agencies that actively harm their communities.

I love how Brit and Ashley talk to each other throughout the podcast. (For some reason it genuinely makes me happy) I discovered them a week ago and yesterday my mom asked what podcast I was listening to. It turns out she used to listen to you guys while she was doing dishes when she was a teenager. And now my dad and I ramble on about the cases we hear and what our thoughts are on them. :DD

I LOVED the early years of Crime Junkie. Listened to every single one. Probably twice! The past couple years have been splattered with far too much policitical commentary, and the cases they choose are either open and shut or have no “official” resolution (but there is usually a very obvious conclusion, which we guessed from the beginning). It turns me off as a listener. Let’s get back to the interesting cases that have twists, turns, and the unexpected!

Why are we telling a story when there is already a show on Hulu ? And doing it in two parts? I will just watch the show .

I’ve always loved this show and it has only gotten better with time. I really appreciate Brit and Ashley’s willingness to speak up about the injustices going on in our country. And for the people who don’t like it…good riddance; you are on the wrong side of history.

I love crime junkie a lot. I’m an og junkie. And I love what yall stand for and your views on a lot of issues. But sometimes yall make the most unnecessary episodes 2 parts and honestly it should be in the title if that’s the case. I listen to so much true crime most episodes I already heard elsewhere. But like this most recent episode did not need to be 2parts. Especially considering dateline covered it and did it in a single episode. If we’re gonna do this just tell us up front!

I was getting so bored listening to 20/20 and 48 hours. This podcast keeps me interested even when I know the story. I love how they find different angles to report on and that they post updates with new information on old cases. So glad there are so many episodes to listen to.

No more teasers! If you are breaking a story in two parts, LABEL is as such. There is nothing worse than getting into a story and then you say, you can PAY to hear the rest, or wait a full week. Just PUT IT IN THE TITLE Please NO MORE DELIA! The constant conjecture is unbearable. They hypothesize on these “what if” situations that are not based on fact. Further, Delia constantly speaks as though she knows better than the investigators/police/lawyers. It is truly frustrating. I enjoy the podcast but the recent addition of interview clips adds NOTHING to the show. They repeat everything the interviewee says and the audio is poor quality. Please stop including these sound bites. It is great you collect data first hand, but we do not need to hear it (and have you repeat it), especially since it is usually terrible quality.

…and that’s to at least pronounce people’s names correctly. You’ve clearly never heard of the name “Hans” before, and you didn’t even bother to learn how to say it correctly. (Hint: it doesn’t rhyme with “pans.” It rhymes with “fawns.”) Tired of your liberal agenda, too.

This duo dogs the cops way too much. They obvious have a thing against the cops and it shows in most every episode!!! The cohost asks the dumbest questions and I can’t even find a reason she is on the podcast except to make the host seem like she is smart. No thank you!!!

Crime Junkie is the number one podcast I search through/in when looking for a case that is new to me or I’d like to hear more of/about. I don’t want to listen to the story being told by anyone else, haha, because Ash and Brit do it so well! Truly a great delivery and every time.
