Love the fact I’m listening to Zone 7 and they are praising Season of Justice!!!

I used to listen to Crime Junkie and most of the other audio chuck podcasts religiously. As a true crime lover, I was obsessed. They’re giving me the ick with the way they speak about law enforcement now. Like honestly, it’s gross. They make it seem like all police officers/Detectives/investigators couldn’t care less about victims or their families. It is clear that they don’t understand VRA and the fact that there are notifications that all victims are entitled to and get as long as it does not hinder an investigation. How have they been doing this for so long and still don’t understand the fact that there are case facts that simply cannot share because it would be detrimental if the case ever went to trial? I think there is a more tactful way to stick up for victims and families and fight for answers for them without dragging law enforcement through the mud. I promise you, they aren’t all incompetent and most of them are really just doing their best while making sure they make it home to their kids and spouses at the end of the day.

Hi! Really enjoying the podcast. Definitely a true crime junkie here. Only suggestion I have is to stop saying “like” so much. Otherwise, great podcast!

What is happening? I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. Today’s episode, ads included, sounds like it was recorded on half speed, or that the hosts are falling asleep. The usual comments, banter and occasional exclamations are gone - this is so dry.

The banter is pretty annoying majority of the time. For the love of dogs, STOP TALKING OVER EACH OTHER! It’s overwhelming..

I say, “Omg SHUT UP, Brit!!” like 15 times during each episode. Would be my favorite, 5 Star podcast if she wasn’t constantly interrupting, gasping, adding her opinions - SO unnecessary.

These gals can take any clear-cut scenario (obvious suicide, obvious accidental death) and act like it’s some baffling mystery or grand conspiracy. It’s so funny. Love to listen while I clean my house.

I have only just started listening to crime junkie and it has me absolutely hooked. I love it so so so much. However I do have a recommendation to Ashley and Brit. I think doing a follow up episode on one of the cases would be a good idea. Like for example when you said you would follow up on Kristen David’s case and it’s been two weeks and you still haven’t done that. Anyway amazing podcast!

When I say I grew up on crime junkie, I’m not kidding. I started listening in elementary school and I don’t think I can anymore. I started an episode and the first 3 minutes were ads, by minute 9 I was back to listening to more ads. It’s ridiculous. There’s more ads than crime. I understand that they need income but it feels more like I’m listening to the infomercial channel not a podcast. I used to love the podcast, but I don’t have money to subscribe and I can’t stand the ads.

Even though I’m knew about this horrendous crime, Ashley and Brit did a fantastic job sharing the information with the audience. Each episode is explained in a way that carefully reflects the story and urges listeners to report any leads. No matter how inconsequential we might feel the information is the police may need that little piece to blow the whole case open. Excellent podcast!

Never realized just how close one of these cases was to where I grew up 😶 Solid true crime podcast. Generally pretty respectful to the victims and families. Sometimes the sequence of events gets annoyingly muddled. 2025 update: getting sick of the re-uploads of old episodes. please either revisit them or stop

I’m absolutely hooked on Crime Junkie! Ashley and Brit do an incredible job telling these stories with empathy, clarity, and just the right amount of suspense. I love how well-researched each episode is — you can tell they genuinely care about the victims and getting the facts right. It’s not just true crime for entertainment’s sake; there’s real heart behind it. Whether I’m commuting, cleaning, or just need something to keep me thinking, Crime Junkie is always my go-to. I’ve binged so many episodes, and I’m still excited for every new one. Highly recommend for any true crime fan!

I have never listened to podcasts before, but have been getting into true crime recently and fell in love with crime junkie. I travel to Chicago and back quite often and I swear the time goes by twice as fast! I love Ashley and Britt!

I absolutely love this podcast. It is a great podcast, Brit I love the commentary and how you and Ashly work together. It makes the podcast 10 times better!!!!! I constantly check to see if there is new episodes! I literally binged this episode show😂😂 it is a scary true reality and it will probably save me, I was 12 when I started listening. It has changed my life in the best way possible

I just listened to part one of Peggy’s case and a couple of other episodes before this, and I have to say you guys have out done yourselves with the amount of research and in general detail that you’re putting into the stories it’s so impressive and I love listening to it. All is decent until Ashly starts to pull the only life’s that matter is ppl of color or ppl that’s involved of the ppl of same sex. Do I believe it’s because Ashly is a sell out and only highlighting this just to get listeners? Yea I do!Brit is really the highlight of each show! The show has so much potential if the lead podcaster would be more involved in ALL live’s and walks of life,until then it will be a time killer podcast or if I’ve ran out of forks to stab in my ears.

You do get information about a crime but they (Ashley and Britt) put their own subjective spin on it. They also do A LOT of police bashing. If I want to listen to opinion politics, I would find a podcast for that.

I found this podcast a few years ago and loved it. Life happened and rediscovered it about 6 weeks ago and binged every episode! The storytelling is impeccable and keeps you guessing and trying to figure out what’s happening and who possibly did it! I love the banter between Ashely and Brit! Completely obsessed!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple of years and it’s the only true crime podcast I’ve listened to that has gotten me into true crime! Keep up the good work Ashley and Britt! Keep bringing the crime junkies some intriguing and interesting cases for us to have a listen to!

You need to do more research as I have an innocent family member getting death threats because you couldn’t do basic investigations please stop before we sue P
