I really used to like this show but after hearing feeders in the storm it’s going to be an easy unsubscribe, wasn’t even creepy just some weird weird stuff that seems out of place amongst the other stories

If you can get past the predictable but now stale woke slop and political messaging some of the episodes are creepy. But there are so many other more advanced really creepy and scary podcasts available now. Check out Encrypted and the No Sleep Podcast.

I found this podcast a few months ago. I forgot how I came across it now, but it was probably my favorite podcast No Sleep advertising it. It’s simply amazing, great stories and the host is fantastic!! I was delighted to hear some of my favorite narrators from No Sleep on here!! Just fantastic sound quality and I really just love everything about it.

It is unusual for me to rate a podcast 5 stars. For fans of horror, this series can’t be missed. I love to listen to this on my long runs for marathon training, and even the ad copy is funny. I secretly love the dog food ad (and I don’t even have a dog). This podcast offers enough variety that even if you don’t like one story, there are plenty others that are weird and unusual to attract your attention.

“Great storytelling, funny adverts good stories. I would give 5 stars but my dude likes to put the microphone inside his throat and yell at the top of his lungs at any scream scene. It’s actually painful if you’re wearing earbuds. L2 edit screams dude.” Is what I wrote 7 years ago when I first found this podcast. It WAS a good escape from everything going on in the world. But shoehorning an ICE joke has made me unsubscribe after 7 years. Sorry bro but you dragged me back into the real world when I was trying to avoid it.

I rarely write reviews, but hearing even this podcast speak out against ICE made me love you all even more (I didn’t even think that was possible)! Thank you for speaking up.

Title says it all. John and all other voice actors are incredible, but Owen has stolen my goofy heart. Appreciate the lack of dumb fluff filler before/in-between tales. The stories curated here are also excellent. Keep up the great work!

I’m really enjoying this collection and like the readers

This used to be on my top lists of podcasts… but lately the newer episodes deviated away from what they used to be: less scary horror stories with good characters and more monologue-ish type recordings. Which I don’t find engaging at all. I will say that the 2025 31 days of horror was (so far, I’m midway through) quite good & more like the older episodes. I definitely am enjoying it. Hopefully this means their episodes will improve.

I love creepy but this is probably the worst 31 days of horror ever. Stories are very difficult to follow along and are not very engaging please let John do the rest from now on.

I started listening to Creepy a few years ago. Love the development from day 1 to now. Love the growth of the cast, and variety of voices. I can tell everyone puts their best foot forward and really brings the stories to life. One of these days I hope to hear one of my stories brought to life on this platform. Great job on the 31 days of horror, one of my favorite times of the year. Keep it up Creepy family 🫶🏾

One of my favorite podcasts!

An earnest, well curated and acted scary/weird/gonzo story podcast that has mostly outgrown its “creepypasta” root into a more mature weird fiction showcase, but it still keeps the scrappy indie ethos. A variety of stories styles that are more hit than miss, and rarely pretentious even when occasionally overly ambitious. I still feel grateful I found this show on a cold dark lonely night years ago. It is a good listen by the fire. The host/creator is very likable.

Thank you, Jon and Pacific! I will always be grateful for hearing your stories when I felt so isolated and scared by life during Covid. Joe Sofka’s voice was always super bonus points. Your podcast continues to be one of my favorites. Thanks for doing what you do!

This is the mix of the best and the worst horror podcasts out there. However, it is well worth sifting through them to find the best episodes.

I’ve enjoyed this podcast for a few years. One of the first I followed and looked forward to. This new format has me thinking that it might be time to unfollow and move on. The one and two minute clips are frustrating and leave the listener with so many ads and tons of wait time just to get to a two minute story and do it all over again. I’m sorry to go and I truly enjoyed it while it lasted. Wishing the creators the best. Bye!

I’ve been listening for years. Long car rides, flights, doing chores, summoning creatures from beyond the veil, perfect for any occasion and a story for every one.

Okay, that last story about skydiving and how it's supposed to be a twist is incredibly lame. That story sucked plain and simple. It wasn't a twist at all! It was completely telegraphed and sorry, but the character wouldn't have let himself get caught in that situation. You guys have to filter some of the stories given to you right. Well, that lame story should never had made it past our original group of reviewers. It was pitiful!!!

He has the best creepy pasta creator and I hope he has the best day of his life

JV is THE WORST narrator I’ve ever heard. Why on Earth??? Just why!? The others are great!

Literally one of the best podcasts I’ve stumbled/become obsessed with. Actually, now that I’m thinking on it Creepy was the FIRST podcast i found that sold me on the podcast/horror story type thing. Ignore the northern accent and push through ONE episode and you’ll be hooked.

I love horror podcasts. Some are better than others. This is easily in my top 5. John is a great host/ narrator. And I hear some of my favorite narrators from other podcasts 😈

I love all of these episodes and stories but if that JB Hampton is doing one I have to skip it- I cannot stand his voice!

I absolutely love this podcast. It’s always so enjoyable to listen to!!!

The only issue I have is that the sound effects and background music can be a bit loud and make it kind of hard to hear the narration. This is particularly noticeable in the Ted the caver episode. Other than that, wonderful job!

Enjoy the podcast as well as narrators Jon, Own, Nate, Heather and Danielle. Not a fan of the Holders as I agree with other reviewers that it is repetitive . I also do not enjoy narrators JV and Cole as I find their tones to be sarcastic, monotone and condescending. I tend to skip over their episodes.

I love the podcast and have been listening for years. The narration is almost always so good, but I’m surprised that JV still sounds so inexperienced and awkward while narrating despite doing this for so long. It sounds like they’re just reading, not *narrating*; it’s monotone and a bit stilted. I do like their voice, it just seems like they need voice acting lessons, maybe?

I’ve been listening to Creepy since 21. I’ve listened to almost every public released episode (def skipped some due to poor writing or poor narration). John is by far my favorite narrator followed closely by Owen. Nate’s great and Joe Stofko is excellent, he’s just not featured much any more. I agree with a lot of reviewers that JD is not great. It’s nothing personal I just don’t think she fits well as a narrator. I listen to several other horror pods and creepys my favorite. I think the people noticing the “dip” in good story’s haven’t listened long enough. There’s several stretches with less quality stories. Either way keep it up Creepy ✌️ would love to hear some more classic no sleep/creepy pastas read by the team. Specifically no sleeps “the showers” or “butcher face”I think Owen would nail “the showers”. If ur reading this as a listener, does anyone remember a story about some kids playing hide and seek and they somehow end up falling off a cliff into a cove? The twist is they end up “liking” the pain? I can’t for the life of me remember the episode name. Something cursed cove or bay? If you remember pls comment the name! It’s been driving me crazy.

I’ve been listening for a couple of months & I love it. I love how there’s so many different styles of writers & narrations. I like some writers/narrators more than others, but nonetheless I still listen to them all and this is what I look forward to on my way to work Mondays & Wednesdays !!

This used to be a quality podcast, but now I have to skip EVERY story narrated by jw vansant!! Her voice is monotone and grating to listen to, and all of her stories feature a male villain. Quit pushing agendas and get back to the great quality content as soon as you can…. and kick jw to the curb!

I’ve been listening to Creepy for over a year now and loved it. Something changed though. A little before the 31 Days of Horror the stories just stopped being interesting. Then the 31 Days of Horror came along and that was extremely disappointing. Don’t get me wrong the production and the narrators are great but these stories are not it. I loved Creepy but it’s not worth listening to if maybe 1 of 4 stories per episode is good.

Great spooky stories. But it’s the narrator and his delivery that gives me chills!

You will not find anything like this podcast! It is absolutely beautiful. I highly suggest this to any horror lovers out there like I myself.

I loved the 31 days this year! Hoping you return to Creep-Away camp in January. Keep up the great work!

I love this and it doesn’t make you feel left out if you don’t fit in to some genres like other podcasts might. Plus he’s from Minnesota so that’s an extra star right there

Love the stories, can’t do the “Holders” episodes. Also can’t listen to JV Hampton-VanSant anymore, I skip right past as soon as I hear that monotone. 🤷‍♂️ Probably miss some good stories, but her voice doesn’t do any good story Justice.

The production quality is good, narrators are good. Some good episodes, but you have to go through 5 to get to 1. For the most part, the writing is not good.

I feel a great sense of pride being from the same state as the man who started it all, John Grilz. This is my favorite horror podcast of all time besides the magnus archives, the variety of the content and quality of the voice actors is unmatched. All that being said some of the hands down best episodes of all time are as follows: - Ted the caver - tales from the gas station - gods mouth - the sandman - necro sleep
