March Madness has officially concluded. Two Big Ten teams won the men's and women's tournaments: Michigan and UCLA respectively. That means it was a clean sweep by the Big Ten with national titles for football, men's basketball and women's basketball. It is the first time in nine years the SEC hasn't won at least one of those titles and the first time in 25 years that they have gone three straight years without a football national championship. Although that may not seem like a huge deal, the weight of this drought feels heavier for a conference that was seen by some as the pinnacle for many years.
