Please work with Noah on not constantly interrupting and talking over the girls. It makes the podcast so difficult to listen to. I don’t know any other podcast where the producer weighs in as much as he does.

First, and last, time listener here…I couldn’t get beyond the horrible speaking skills of whomever Noah is and his 39 minute travel story. I feel like there is so much competition in the podcast world that we don’t need to listen to so many “um’s” and dragging out a story that likely does t need to be so long…I was exhausted within minutes and fast forwarded to the main podcast and wasn’t impressed with any of it.

I love these women. So refreshing to hear their opinions on my favorite shows and topics, and if they disagree with each other- they don’t put the other one down! Crazy right?! They are my absolute favorites.

Thanks for entertaining us by delivering 3 great episodes a week and for using your platform to fulfill social responsibility! There’s serious stuff happening, it can’t just be ignored. Ria & Fran give so much to the pod, they’re human, they can talk about the things that matter to them -sick of seeing criticism of them for bringing up politics.

I loved this podcast but wow i don’t need to hear your political views constantly. Not everyone believes the same as you do and that’s ok to have different beliefs. It’s ok to state your opinion but you don’t need to do it in a way that makes it seem like if we don’t share the same opinion we are horrible people.

I used to be a big fan, but Fran constantly bringing up politics is getting old. I come here to listen to takes on pop culture and escape, not hear your thoughts on the government.

Tone down your political views…clearly they are one sided and we don’t want to hear them.

One of my favorite podcasts but I listen to escape serious news and focus on non-serious pop culture news. I know you feel compelled to talk about politics but I really wish it just stayed fun and an escape.

Ria and Fran, thank you so much for using your platform and voices to speak on the issues happening in our world right now. It’s Podcasts like yours where people go to escape their everyday lives and problems, but with all that’s happening in our world it’s important to not lose sight of those things and give your listeners a gentle reminder. For the other commenters who “don’t like the political talk on the podcast”, it’s them who need to hear these types of conversations and who are so privileged to not have to worry about these unfortunate circumstances. Don’t let commenters or other influencers stop you guys from using your voices in times like this!!

I used to love this podcast, but Fran has made it hard to listen to. She was silent for years during real political corruption, and now suddenly she’s found her voice and won’t stop preaching. It feels performative, not genuine. On top of that, her interview skills are honestly terrible. She constantly cuts people off, talks over guests, and turns every conversation back to herself. There’s no flow, no curiosity, and no room for nuance just her opinions, loudly repeated. She refuses to engage with guests or perspectives that don’t fully align with hers, which has completely ruined the balance the show used to have. At this point she’s alienated half the audience and turned the podcast into something preachy and exhausting. It feels like the mean girl from high school all grown up. I followed for years, but I’m done.

The gulping is killing me. Also… omg the way they treat Noah is so cringey. It’s like they’re fighting to be the loudest and it can be sooo irritating. I used to love this podcast

I have been listening for years and tbh I love Fran’s football updates! It’s the only way I get any sports news and thanks to her I kind of sound knowledgeable. Keep sharing your wisdom Fran!

This show is OK. It’s actually kind of hard to listen to the banter because it’s not why I clicked on an episode. I click on the episode because the topic title is what I want to know but they spend 30 minutes talking about themselves. I prefer if I get my topic and then they talk about themselves as like a wrap up of an episode and I’ve had time to warm up to them.

Would give 5 stars but Fran … girl… what is up with you?! Let the others speak. She just blatantly cuts her off as if her opinion is better than Noah and Ria’s. And she is so condescending with Noah. No idea how she still has a job.

I’ve enjoyed listening to this team over the past almost 6 years. I love the banter, the side stories, and the life updates. We could also use more Noah, I think he adds a lot to the show. I do usually skip Beat Ria and Fran, but that’s mainly because I’ve gotta cut down time somewhere lol. Keep it all coming. There will always be negative reviews and you can’t please everyone. But there are plenty of us who love what you do!

You’re both too smart and talented to be working for this misogynistic company. Case in point, the name “chicks” in the office - haven’t heard the word chick outside of this pod in the last 20 years unless I was rewatching Grease. Stop the dead weight and start your own biz!

I enjoy catching up on popular culture with Ria and Fran because they help me have conversations with younger coworkers. Also, I absolutely love when Justin Sylvester comes on to update them on his latest adventures and to shared some history on pop culture has a 40 something year-old.

Look, this podcast has its ups and downs sometimes and my one legitimate complaint is that I hate when they cancel podcasts for live shows (because I want more podcast!) However. All you crazies giving one star reviews because you can’t get over the very small mentions of liberal leaning politics need to grow up. They can say what they feel and are honestly more careful about it than I would be or than they should feel they need to be. It’s their show and if you can’t handle hearing the other side of things in such a benign way, then you should stop listening, but you should also get a grip. No reason to one star something for that. It’s just petty and for that reason, I will be giving a full five stars to counteract you weirdos.

Honestly had to turn off the episode half way because Fran cannot stop interrupting her guests and Ria! It’s so frustrating!!! And she is just so mean to Noah. I like Ria but this is getting to a point where I can no longer enjoy listening, I would hate to be a guest on this pod because of that

I do love this podcast, but a few things that lower my rating. When interviewing Fran continually talks over her guest/ won’t let them finish their thought. Just take a breath, don’t lose your train of thought and make your comments after the guest is done. Also, they will get on a pointless subject and talk about it more than necessary. Noah you’re doing great.

Long time listener and I’ll be honest-if was never that good. It’s not an entertaining podcast or great banter like other podcasts out there, but I enjoy the topics they cover and they seem like super nice girls. However, after Fran saying she cant sit down with Chris Pratt because of his political views and them acting like Sydney Sweeney committed a crime I’m like ??? Congrats guys, you ruined it!

I used to be a big fan but the episodes are getting progressively worse. Fran can’t say a sentence without pausing multiple times, Ria rambles on about stupid things like kush for 10 minute, and then saying you don’t like someone because of their politics is insane. You should be open to hearing both sides.

Long long long time listener and just disappointed in the recent comment from Fran just not being able to sit down and have an enjoyable conversation with Chris Pratt bc of politics (among a few other reasons) but she made sure to say that it would be a factor in being able to enjoy a conversation with him. It’s truly very obvious what her political beliefs are which are completely fine. It’s just the separation in the country right now that doesn’t need to be fueled and we listen to pop culture podcasts to avoid one sided conversations like that. Appreciated Noah’s neutral standpoint to that conversation.

Petition to have Ria read the stories. Why is Fran always reading it and she stutters through every single sentence and always pauses so long in the middle to think. She can barely finish a full thought. It's unbearable. She needs to read the stories off a script or practice speaking because I think the episode paused or skipped when pauses for 5 seconds.

I need 100% less Noah. This is for the girls we don’t need the mansplaining

I just listened to your pod for the first time. I think I enjoyed it. But, Y’all are literally four people all talking at the same time. I can’t keep up! Respectfully, maybe pace yourselves some.

I’m 50 yrs old, in the 80’s our parents were strict about dinner and dinner time. Age 14 and under. As respect to other neighborhood kids’ parents, usually another kid staying over for dinner would require prior permission and discussion between parents. In case there were dietary restrictions etc. food was really really boring in the 80’s-spaghetti, hamburgers,pizza. Sometimes my parents only had enough food for our family. My parents didn’t make extras ever. Also, the friend could’ve already eaten dinner before coming over. And usually we had to promise our parents that we would be home for dinner . My parents were strict about what we ate and all of us eating together at the table every night. I hope this helps understand what a different world it was back then. we were in a strict old fashioned household- my dad used to send our neighbor kids home to use their own bathroom when we would be playing in our yard. They’d come inside to use our bathroom and he would tell than to go home and use their own- Dad was Strict😂🤣🤣🤣. Love you guys! You make me laugh daily❤️As one of your older listeners, thank you for all you do!

Mean girl energy, not impressed

Terrible episode discussing the child that “slapped” Ria’s bottom. Perhaps he has special needs or something else going. Easy for someone to rant on about another persons child that they know nothing about. As a mother to 3, I found their discussion disgusting. Hopefully when/if they’re mothers and something happens with their child they won’t be judged like this.
