Less Sacho
Just too much Sacho and everytime he is on it just feels like an infomercial. Other than that a great show.

Why haven’t you put the pod into video?

Changing my life.
This is possibly the most entertaining podcast I have ever encountered. I stumbled upon it after nearly having my love of golf mutilated by the audiobook version of Hank Haney’s soulless memoir about how Tiger Woods never gave him a popsicle, and the actual humor, emotion, honesty and relatability of the epic quest documented in Mike and Eli’s podcast brought me back to life. I just purchased a signed photo of Carl Weathers on eBay. I have been attempting to rewatch the Marvel movie timeline, but instead am rushing to catch up on this podcast. These are my new Avengers. The most wholesome and authentic entertainment you can find in the golf world.

Great Podcast for Golfers
Love this podcast. Absolutely hysterical. Thanks for making it!!!

So much fun!!!
Mike and Eli are a blast to listen to. It’s like having a conversation with my best friends about golf. Dramatic readings of scorecards is so much fun. A hysterical podcast of life and golf. Thanks guys for brightening up my days recently. I started listening to the podcast on a drive from Massachusetts to Tennessee and haven’t stopped bingeing since. Great job guys.

I just found your podcast and finished season 1. So I have to tell you I’ve NEVER given a review on anything!!! This is the greatest thing I’ve ever listened to and I used to listen to Howard Stearn and Joe Rogan. I especially love all the movie quotes. What a great first season and an unbelievable final round. Although you failed to get to a zero handicap it was an amazing victory in my opinion. I’d love to hear an added Apollo Creed quote “ you’ll know when it’s over!!” Keep up the great content

A Pleasant Distraction
When I began this Podcast earlier this year I had found myself trying to break free from a true crime obsession that had become a problem. You know you’re listening to too much true crime when all your podcasts start covering the same gruesome stories and you’re the one who is counted on to explain the gory details of whatever terrible murder is in the headlines. I needed to listen to something ridiculous and lighthearted. This fit the bill but also delivered so much more. When Eli and Mike delve into improving the quality of their overall physical and mental health off the course is where things get really interesting. At some point their golf journey takes a backseat to hearing them find ways to balance “real life” and still find time to enjoy time to themselves doing something they love. If I’m being honest, I secretly hope they never reach scratch because I’m afraid this ride will be over…

Bucket List - Play golf with Mike & Eli
My friend told me about your podcast and you were already into season six. I was able to binge listen while traveling on an overseas golf trip. Those on the plane trying to sleep did not appreciate my constant outbursts of laughter (I had headphones). Luv ya guys! LGLG!!

Authentic, funny, and relatable. Mike and Eli are funny and passionate about this golf journey. Truly a couple of guys that would be great on a golf trip. The pod dropping is a highlight of each week.

Started listening and was hooked instantly with the friendly banter between to friends enjoying the game and trying to get better at it. Don’t regret the hours wasted listening

I have enjoyed Chasing Scratch over the years. Fun listen while you’re waiting for golf season to start. Later seasons move a little further away from the mean (visits to Titleist, endorsements, professional coaches). We should all be so lucky. I have enjoyed following Eli’s recovery and the home simulator builds in Season 8. Still a sponge worthy podcast.

Fantastic Listen!
Been listening from the beginning and currently in Season 2. Love the talks they have each episode, as the thoughts they have are similar to mine. As someone who is also chasing scratch these episodes help me along the journey!!

How Have I Missed This Podcast
I recently came across the Chasing Scratch Podcast. I started in season one and have been binge listening over the past few days. I am also done with season one. Really funny podcast. Makes me laugh while I am working or out for a run. Really good podcast about normal guys. Can’t wait to listen to the next few seasons. Also shows how hard golf is and how hard it is to get to scratch. The boys have just gotten below 7 handicaps which is really good. Anyways keep up the great work I appreciate the entertainment.

It’s time
Loved the first few seasons. Been hard to listen to last few with small gains and lots of talking over golf. Need progress to be made, less talk about learning lessons (for the 10th time) and excuses - it’s season 8. Losing interest.

Wildly entertained and helpful
I was turned on to the pod cast by a coworker who I play Golf with and I must say in less than 4 months I caught up to the latest season. I would warn you though if you are driving while listening you may have to pull over as you will be laughing so hard it will make you cry. I had many occasions of this and that’s what kept me coming back. Mike and Eli are very relatable and I enjoy the fun they have while talking golf and giving us accounts of their own struggles with the game. Keep doing what your doing and LGLG. Jeremiah

Quite possibly the best review you’ll receive!
Began bingeing the podcast over the summer, routinely listening on drives into work, and quickly moved to squeezing in episodes every chance I got. The entertainment, insight, and humor in the podcast are second to none. Mike and Eli have inspired me to chase scratch, and I’ve learned how to integrate golf balls, installed my own Carl Weathers learning center (RIP), and lowered my handicap from 9.1 to 5.0 since starting the show. Keep on keeping on, Cmon Rick, LGLG.

You will love these guys!
Mike and Eli have a relationship that keep you in stitches every episode. I was introduced to the podcast from a golf buddy of mine and after episode 1 I knew I was hooked. Keep up the work boys, I now have added “Come on Rick!” at my hip pocket of golf phrases!

Fun podcast ab
I have made it to season 6. These guys kinda mirror my life. I’m 34 wife and kids and I try very hard to play as much golf as possible. I started listening last season and I to tried to make the same decision they did and become scratch. I have dropped my hdcp to 4 from 12. I use a lot of the apps they talk about and looked into some of their coaches lessons on YouTube

Come for the golf stay for Med School
Thanks to Mike & Eli my golf game has not improved at all. However based on the last two seasons I am now a fellow in Orthopedic Surgery. At least in my mind. I’ve heard enough medical episodes (hip, back, wrist, and bubonic plague) that I may very well be the best fake doctor ever. Breaking news, you are getting old! We have heard about all the injuries, all the sleep issues. I’m certain the new season will detail how many times a night you are getting up to pee. I can’t wait to listen, keep up the great work. Too much talk. Not enough golf.
I stopped following your podcast in about year 3 because there was not enough about actually playing golf. Checked in again in season 7. It’s even worse.

Father and son affair
I listened to this pod for quite some time and feel it is quite possibly the greatest out there. Over the past year my son has come to love golf as much as his old man. I introduced him to the pod earlier in season 7 and he calls me while I’m on a cruise with the wife for our 20th anniversary. Dad, he says-I have binged all the seasons of Chasing Scratch and I love it. Now as season 7 comes to an end we have another great golfing experience to share together. Thanks and looking forward to season 8.

Trying to chase y’all to the next episode
So I’m finishing up season 3 and I’m dying. Yes the phrase peppered is a correct saying but I only remember it from pitching baseball. 2nd. I’m a vet and dealing with some medical issues that make it hard to swing the clubs normally. For a number of years I have adopted a form of Moe Norman’s swing that I taught myself. I’m 54 and getting my hip replaced and hope to get my rehab through a TPI rehab/physical therapy. Irons I swing normally. Lastly. Do you have a word or phrase for lip outs. Soup natzi no soup for you.

Newly Found, and I’m Starting Season 6!
Absolutely a show for all the “regular guy” golfer. Your “Chase” inspires me to simply play my best, and yet remember I am 42… with a family. Such a fun show and great game!

Season 1 and 2 are great. The rest?
First 2 seasons were awesome (5 stars!) as it did feel like 2 guys trying to accomplish a cool goal together. The seasons after felt like they morphed into sponsorship, product placement, and goofy pop culture discussions instead of golf. Season 7 Episode 24 basically starts with 10 mins of ads.

A buddy of mine told me to give the pod a try. Just started season 1 and absolutely love it. Working on my game as well and great to hear your insights and thoughts as you go through it as well.

What took me so long
I just finished season one. I am 36 years old. I am a 12 hcp, and I am obsessing about getting better. Beyond that I am from Lexington like Eli. I can’t believe I hadn’t listened before now. The first season played out like a great golf movie. Excellent podcast, guys. Looking forward to season two and beyond.

Only podcast I’ve ever stuck with! LGLG
I’ve never been able to stick with a podcast but I’ve been through the first 4 seasons and not slowing down. It’s been awesome. Laughed so much. Enjoying all the different people Mike and Eli bring on to help the everyday golfer improve. Plus I love playing River Bend in Shelby.

Don’t want the train to stop. Thank you for the million laughs and unbridled optimism. Yours truly a 23 HC LGLG

Just found this podcast a week ago and almost through season one. It’s like my buddy and I started our own podcast to discuss our fragile mental states.

Great Content
I listen to very few podcasts and rarely find people on a podcast that I strongly identify with. As a middle aged single digit hack at golf, I completely identify with these guys and their lives. They talk like golfers and think like golfers. I play golf with lots of people who occasionally play golf but my club has about 75-100 guys that are really golfers which is very different from playing sometimes. We LOVE golf and recognize how far even the best of us are from pro golfers. A PGA tour player’s father is a member of our club and his PGA tour son plays here occasionally and it is confirmed that he plays a different game than the rest of us, even the best of us. These guys get it and understand exactly what our game demands and how golfers feel about it. There are golfers who carry a 20 handicap and golfers that carry a +5 handicap but really golfers are different than those who just play golf. If you’re really a golfer, give this podcast a listen, you’ll love it.

I came across Season 1 and started listening. I can’t put it down. You two guys are great together. I’m so glad there are 7 seasons to listen to. I’m going to Ireland in July on a lifelong bucket list trip, and you will be with me crossing the pond. I’m just getting started with season two and love every minute of it. Keep’em coming.

Season 1
I just finished season 1 and I absolutely loved it. I have not looked you up on social media because I did want to have anything spoiled for me. 🤣🤣 Can not wait to jump into season 2 😄

Mike and Eli have been given more time and resources to become better golfers and they mascarade around with single digit handicaps yet Mike shoots 99-102 in a real tournament. These guys are entertaining but 15 real world handicaps at best.

Wow
I had this bright idea to move an hour away from work and needed something to pass the time by. I found this podcast and have been hooked since. I’m on season 3 episode 2 and it’s been the most entertaining podcast I’ve listened to in a long time. I started golfing 2 years ago with an insane idea that I would be able to get to scratch in 5 years. This pod has made me think it’s possible. I’m in my late 20s (okay I’m turning 30 in 2 months.. whatever 😂), a super supportive fiancé and all the time in the world and sitting at a 23hcp. I feel like I’m just listing to the bros having a great time and it’s just getting better and better. Without being too long winded keep up the great work. I can’t wait to catch up and see the growth. Not sure if you still do shoutouts for the reviews but I guess I’ll find out in 2 weeks when I listen to the next 4 seasons 😂. Thank you both for being yourselves. Kudos to you.. and Kudos to Craigers.

Perfection in a Podcast
I was at a recent charity golf tournament, and one of my playing partners was wearing some merch with a logo I had never seen before. “What’s LGLG?”, I asked him. He goes on to tell me the premise of this podcast and how he now does a podcast about the podcast. That night, on my drive home from Austin to San Antonio I started the first season. I was immediately hooked and thought to myself, it’s like me and my friends decided to start a podcast. Now finished with the first season, I can imagine there are so many that have been listening to the show for years that wish they could go back and listen for the first time. I had that privilege and I can’t wait to go through six more seasons. Great job boys! “Let’s go, let’s go!”

Season 7 ep 1
I have listened to this show from the beginning and it is amazing, inspiring, relatable and hilarious. I am a member of the Velcren and heard the Carl Weathers interview right after it aired and it was one of the most motivational interviews I’ve heard. The ending to this first episode gave me those same feelings, rooting for you guys even though I’m in Mississippi and Lenny did leave the after credit audio of y’all saying you don’t want to have to come down here

Golf and friendship
I tuned into this because I love golf and heard good things, but it’s really a podcast about friendship. Love hearing the dramatic scorecard readings. And Mike and Eli got me hooked on Yoga with Adrienne.
