A New Genre for a New Era
This has become a go-to pod for me as a Dad of 2. Alexis has disrupted the long-held business “value” of keeping work and life entirely separate. Why does that matter in 2024? In a time that we’re less geographically-constrained than ever, he’s helping to break a cycle that has created separation between fathers and their sons and daughters for generations. By leading with intention and setting an example that’s aspirational, yes even at home, he’s changing our society’s culture. One pod at a time. The guests thus far have been fascinating, it’s super engaging, and they’re all helping to normalize that being an active Dad is cool. And that it’s also a way to enhance overall efficiency. Give this one a shot.

Not just for dads
Also a child-less business woman here! I’m finding lots of great nuggets in this show on work/life balance for myself as well as my team. Enjoying the ease of the conversation and the length of the show. Inspiring!

Everyone can enjoy!!
Truly love listening to these conversations. They’re so thoughtful and even though I’m not a father, I still learn a lot from each one. MUST LISTEN!! Can’t wait for the next episode!

Thank You
For creating a podcast about such an important topic. Men need to hear from other men like you and your guests who aren’t ashamed to talk about how important and life-changing fatherhood is, in the context of their careers and all else.

Much needed
Great concept and interviews, on a topic that needs more coverage. Love hearing insights and stories from family men with businesses and not the other way around.

I’m a woman without children and absolutely love this podcast! It’s an important concept to discuss and Alexis is a true champion for dads & families. He’s also a very skilled interviewer and the conversations are a joy to listen to. Can’t wait for more episodes!

Refreshing perspective
So excited to have a podcast that focuses on men juggling work and parenting. So often this perspective is forgotten in public discourse. I’m such a fan of Alexis’ work in promoting paternity leave alongside maternity leave - allowing fathers to bond with their children and contribute to raising them is invaluable to men AND their partners. Keep up the great work!

Great conversation about career and family
The series jumps straight into fatherhood as both speakers, Alexis and Hasan, discuss their respective new roles and responsibilities of raising children while managing evolving careers. Both share provoking memories from childhood, ‘balancing it all,’ and key lessons and parenting concepts important to them. Great job! (Ep.1 review)

Alexis...America’s best empathetic and cultural leader
Thank you so much for creating this. This conversation needs to become more entrenched within US society and god bless all the mothers and fathers in the world. Parenting is a truly unique skill set and experience. This balancing act with family and work is an evolving life algorithm that will continue daily life learning and there is no IPO. Hopefully, everyday feels like that with a child. A few of my favorite Alexis imprints... Reddit. Initialized. HelloOffice! Knowable. Business Dad. Can’t wait to connect in LA sometime soon hopefully! Owen

Great Discussion
I enjoyed the podcast in that it sounded like a casual conversation between two dads, about a topic that isn’t shared often. As a new mom I enjoyed hearing how the dads balance work and life and gave me some ideas for my own home.

wonderful
alexis is a really great interviewer, and the questions and discussions he facilitates are really moving. i hadn’t realized how little we hear men talk about how fatherhood has affected their work and vice versa — it’s vulnerable and beautiful. the only criticism i have (and i think most of the episodes are already recorded, so) is that both he and the guest should be better mic'd. it’s audible, but (as of ep 1), it could be clearer. great show!
