Saager is not good for the show/Israeli journalist. 2/2025
How old is Saager? He does sound like a 14 year old. Very limited knowledge and thinking and he seems a authoritarian worshiper Saager logic is inhumane and crazy. He talk fast to cover over his a narrow mind and cruel person, and his ideas are almost fascistic . Krystal is great and very logical and a good human being. Israeli journalist This Israeli journalist thinks people are stupid or he is stupid. Does he not know of divid and conquer. They like Lebanon situation so they can divid and conquer the region. And this guy had the gall to talk about religion when he lives in a religious ethnostate with his government is talking about building the temple to bring their messiah. What an idiot or a propagandist. Saager; you talk too much and always interrupting the other hosts. I think you like your voice

great pod
Great pod . I love the guests and different perspectives. Not gonna lie, though, Krystal, Kyle, and friends every day, breaking points once a week would be a way better look!!

Top news podcast
I’ve been a longtime listener of Breaking Points and have watched the podcast go through some real growing pains. At times, I found Krystal’s habit of interrupting or talking over guests frustrating enough that I stopped listening for a while. That said, after taking a break and coming back, I have to give her credit—Krystal has clearly evolved. It seems like she’s taken in the criticism and made real adjustments. She’s also become a fearless interviewer who doesn’t shy away from tough or uncomfortable questions. (The Slotkin interview was especially powerful.) I always enjoy listening to Saagar and Ryan—both come across as well-informed and consistently prepared. Emily is still finding her footing; she tends to tread lightly around controversial topics and often echoes takes we’ve already heard.

Unsubscribe, don’t listen
No coverage of recent shooting in NYC as of 8/30/25. They’ll spend hours on Luigi, but not even mention this. I’m starting to understand why these people all sound so nervous. These people are the problem. They sound like the embodiment of stimulants, stimulants that are destroying our planet. You wonder why everyone is insane because they are all addicted to numerous drugs. Hypocrites. Eliminate them all yourself if you want your planet back.

This podcast meets my daily fix.

Boring genocide and Epstein
You might as well listen to msnbc, although I don’t think they talk about as munch as these two! It may get them hits, but it’s not independent or does it have anything to do with what affects our daily life.

Krystal never ceases to amaze
The interview with Senator Slotkin is an example of what journalism was back in the days of Mike Wallace and the like. Prepared, and unafraid to put a mirror to their faces and asking the tough questions. Well done! Thank you for keeping these two-faced politicians and others feet to the fire. Now do Klobuchar.

General thought
Its getting annoying that Krystal keeps pushing that other democrats need to support the democrat NYC candidate. Seems like an example of preference falsification. They do not need to support him if they don’t want to. This is the typical MO of democrats. Also while they say this podcast is a balance of right and left, it is definitely skewed to the left.

Recommend for Independents
Started listening after the 2024 election at the recommendation of a friend. Both of us are liberal leaning, but don’t like that Americans have to pick sides or be ‘all in’ for one party. So I appreciate the news coverage from the Breaking Points team. I have a preference for Krystal and Saagar (their rapport comes through when discussing the many events and viewpoints) and would love to hear from them daily, but Ryan and Emily have grown on me and I have found their voices/views/news breakdowns to be calm and balanced. I would love to hear deeper dives and contextualizing of the issues. Overall, very grateful they’re doing what they do. Thank you.

Love hate relationship
I love Krystal!!!!!!!! Saagars view on immigration was a tough one to listen to. Comparing immigration offenses to drunk drivers…. Drunk drivers get due process. Overall love the show

New Media, Same Old Hysteria
What was once a space for nuanced, thoughtful analysis has devolved into knee-jerk cynicism and condescension that’s exhausting to hear. When the idea that “a small group of wealthy elites is to blame for every problem” becomes accepted across the political spectrum, no longer seen as speculation but as unquestioned truth, we’re on dangerous ground. History is full of nations that spiraled into catastrophe by reducing complex societal and economic problems to simplistic scapegoating of elites. It leads, at best, to horrible policies and, at worst, to societal collapse. This erosion of public thinking doesn’t happen overnight. It happens when enough voices keep repeating the same half-truths and distortions without challenge, until reckless speculation is mistaken for fact. Regrettably, Breaking Points has become one of those voices.

Longtime Listener!!
Not Unbiased at All
Saagar thinks I’m not an American citizen as someone who might benefit from DEI but he was born in India. Interesting because I was actually born in this country.
MusicCritic2011
I’m not listening anymore
I can’t deal with Sagaar’s blatant cruelty towards immigrants, it’s pathetic and pathological and nothing to do with politics. Not sure what you all think these times are but I wonder about the political acumen of your crew if you’re good with having him on your show.
Joint Analysis
How is this both sides?
Used to really like them both but it has become so one sided it’s difficult to listen to. I really enjoyed Saagar but it’s definitely not the same show. Even Emily and Ryan are more balanced and enjoyable to listen to. I’m out. Best wishes to all!

New listener
I like the (mostly) unbiased discussion & rapport between the hosts—tho Saagar can SOMETIMES come across as obnoxious. Highly recommend!

Pretty good
Krystal is awesome but Saagar is just a d**k. I actually like hearing different political points of view but he just constantly dismisses anything he thinks is “progressive” and never really brings anything to the table.

Alex Jones!! Terrible!
How can you give this convicted ,lying totally insensitive bastard airtime and a voice. I was long time listener but NEVER again. People of Sandy Hook deserve better!

Ok
I like this Podcast but Krystal is constantly being talked over, which I dislike. And when she is talking, Saagar hmmms and ums dismissively. Maybe it was just this particular episode but it was so over the top.

Becoming Shrill
I used to tune in more often because of the good analysis and unpredictable opinions, but Breaking Points has become more and more a 1-issue podcast with long, shrill complaints about Israel. Calm conservative perspectives are drowned out with all of the liberal whining and the number of stories discussed is very low. It’s hard to get through episodes these days.

Terrible
Krystal is so uneducated on general history and politics that this podcast is a waste of time. Might as well watch the hens from The View
Nobody2024??
Nope
When Krystal Ball said the LA ice riots were, “run of the mill protests “ I realized her opinion is worthless to me. Who wants cars burned, looting, riots, and police attacked in their town? No sane person I would guess. Won’t listen again.

Great Show
I listen to this show several times a week. Have been for several years. This show is great because of the conflicting viewpoints.

Weather you believe!
Just a heads up Krystal! The weather is never right, whether they have staff or not!

No balance. All Left opinions.

Equal Opportunity Haters
They are smart & well informed, but the best thing is their honesty - no political hacks here. After listening to several episodes, I still didn’t know which way Krystal or Sagar leaned - Both call out the protectors of the donor class regardless of which side of the aisle! Check-In - Kristal is so in the tank for Fetterman, she has lost her credibility. She literally said it doesn’t matter if the dude has brain damage, it’s all about the way he’d vote. Disgusted with her lack of objectivity. Struggle to listen to what I used to look forward to. 2nd Check-in: I can’t listen anymore. Krystal is a hack - whining constantly about supposed ethnic cleansing & genocide in Gaza. Ever since Ryan joined, Saagar has been checked out & Emily is so weak & deferential to the lefties it’s painful. All good things must end & this show is over for me.

What happened?
This show used to be my go to for getting the daily news with the opinions of both sides of the political spectrum, but the last few weeks it has become nothing but Krystal’s leftist views being echoed by like minded guests….
Mateo2320
Justice for Virginia Guiffre
I want to use this space to plead for coverage on Virginia Guiffre. She was pictured with and sex-trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell…then A BUS kills her and NO ONE barely mentions it. Virginia deserves more.

Fear mongers
I guess that Iran war never started, huh? Saagar wanted us to know he read so many books, and as the smartest man in the room, war was inevitable. Krystal is just as bad as any other CNN leftist, so her takes were expected. I would love to see this show with only ever Ryan and Emily.
Yussssssssssddss
Novel
I sense a bit of lefty opinion although it is evenly split and humerus or Huberous? lol Keep working it I like ❤️also Krystal has an adorable laugh … Kids should have free lunch regardless of income that way The poor kids wouldn’t feel bad with their food stamp cards believe me, I know I used to have one

Used to be great with Saagar
I used to love this podcast and it was my primary source of news. I’m annoyed by both CNN and Fox News, so having a single outlet that gives a balance approach was very refreshing. However over the last couple of weeks it is just Krystal and a guest echoing her strongly left leaning spin. I liked to hear Krystal’s opinions and even agreed on some things in the past. When Saagar was there they would give each other‘s opinions, consideration, and often come to agreement or agree to disagree. Now it’s just an echo chamber and I feel like I might as well be listening to a segment on CNN. I’d love to give this another try, but without Saagar, this show has lost what I thought was its dedication to a balanced approach to current events. Only giving two stars because of what it used to be and in hopes they’ll read my and several other reviews over the last few weeks from other loyal listeners who are as disappointed as me

What happened?
This used to be the best all around podcast out there. Is it possible they were getting paid by USAID? It’s now moved left of CNN. Constantly lying and fear monger. Every episode is how Trump just caused a tragedy which never comes true. Most guests are hardcore lefties who don’t care about facts. Ryan seems to be the only one worth listening to anymore. Such a bummer.

They Should rename it the “Israel Hour”
The show is more about Israel now by far than it is about U.S. politics. Saagar and Krystal agree with each other 99% of the time. Every once in awhile Saagar tries to say something slightly different than Krystal but she must have started whipping his nuts with a car antenna after the show because he doesn’t do it hardly ever now. Saagar’s pride in his ability to read books is only matched by Krystal’s self-righteousness but both are leagues better at analysis than Emily Jashinsky, who is seemingly unable to utter anything but some variation of the phrase “I just find it really interesting….” after which she proceeds to parrot the same things that Ryan, Krystal or Saagar had just said previously. Krystal and Ryan are legitimate nut jobs with a deep rooted love for Islamic theocratic governments and an utter disdain for the Middle East’s only democracy but at least they are deranged in a way that makes them somewhat entertaining to listen to. Their obsession with Israeli affairs grows stronger by the day, and if you are utterly obsessed with Israeli politics you will LOVE this show.

Hot Garbage
What happened? Show is now more unhinged lefty madness than MSNBC. They turned Saagar and Emily to the dark side.
Spicy Pickle Jar
Left wing rhetoric! Might as well be CNN
This used to be unbiased and I enjoyed it. Now Saagar just lays down to squeaky Krystal Ball. Absolutely terrible!

Used to be good
Once a nuanced podcast about current events. These days, more of a couple of hysterical lefties clitching their marxist pearls about everything. Also starngely obsessed with Israel. Bye, won’t be back.

Should be named “Breaking to the Left Points”
I left my review before reviewing the most recent reviews. Having read them, It’s clear that K needs a Valium and S needs to better represent. You’re probably hemorrhaging listeners. And the listeners you’re gaining are those seeking an echo chamber, which is what I don’t think either of you want. I’ll check in every few months but with little hope of change but for now I’m out. Original review: I wish Saagar would be more of a shill, which is an ugly thing to say, but that’s how I feel like this show regains the value it once had. Both hosts staunchly supporting their side so that I can really understand where I align. I consider myself fairly moderate and this show was a big reason why. Agreeing with each other too much makes this show like any other… In fact, scratch that, it makes it worse because Krystal is so zealous that I feel like I’m listening to her husband’s show. Also, any host that isn’t Saagar and Krystal has no business being on an episode.

I continue to listen, however…
Not an unbiased podcast by any stretch of the imagination. The hosts perspectives are Far Left and Left of right.

MSNBC Leftism Occasional Visits from Saagar/Emily
The past 6 months has seen the show transform into Krystal and Ryan exclusively promoting Palestinian struggles which obviously concern them more than domestic issues. The two of them outwardly have lost the plot for their pet project of daily outrage at the Palestine conflict. There used to be discussions of domestic affordability, housing, healthcare, accumulation of wealth, corporate monopolies, etc, (no matter how poorly reasoned)—doesn’t seem to be on their radar anymore. Saagar and Emily show up for occasional pushback against Krystal’s emotional disorder du jour, but they’re limited and often just amount to conceding to Krystal’s appeals by way of emotional highroading. The whole thing is really stale at this point. The only thing I applaud is they had the intuition to get that moron, Kyle, off the podcast before he outwardly comes out in support of Xi Jinping, Stalin, and bin Laden.

Blind spot
If you want to know what’s going on in the world, listen to this podcast. And whatever they say, the opposite is what is going on in the world. If you support Hamas, then you’re going to love this podcast! They only cite Hamas statistics and sources which support their priors. Israel is not an apartheid state and saying that is an insult to the people who suffered apartheid in South Africa. There is no attempt at objectivity. Just blind regurgitation Hamas talking points. The latest debate is not Destiny vs Omar. It’s Destiny vs Omar and Ryan, with Emily doing her best to attempt to moderate.

Loved it before Saagar Left - Now one-sided
I love the idea of this podcast. I also value both Krystal and Saagar’s view. But since he took may leave this is just a super left wing perspective. Which is disappointing. Have some varied commentators on Krystal!

Breaking up
Sadly this is consistently dominated by left leaning views. I used to really enjoy listening, my husband got me hooked years ago. We watched them on YouTube but now we both struggle to listen. Krystal needs to learn how to regulate her emotions and Ryan’s arrogance is hard to listen to without wincing. Sagar and Emily are trampled almost every episode. It’s so predictable but sad because it used to be based on facts now it’s all emotion, slanted stories and arrogant assumptions. Emily’s show undercurrents is much easier to listen to, I would love to see her push back on all three of them more. I just can’t listen anymore though.

Great for hearing Populist Views
The reason the show works is largely because it offers those burgeoning views on both the right and left. We live in a time where algorithm driven platforms will gladly silo us off into an echo chamber of our choosing, so long as they can milk and monetize our outrage. So, there’s something to be said about a news site that can share opposing views and constantly challenge its own positions. If you don’t get that and think the show skews too far one way or another, then you my friend have missed the point.

No more objectivity
Another Krystal dominated episode with the AG of CA and zero pushback or questioning from her. This podcast has lost me. I’m out!

Appreciation!
Regular listener/watcher. Why are we dealing with 2 part podcasts again? Is it Saager returning? Other than that, great job!

Gone too far left
She has gone too far left with her liberal opinions. Can’t listen anymore

What happened to Krystal?
Take the show back to how it used to be. Krystal, give Saagar a chance. Turn your volume down. Take a walk. Breath.

Puberty is a human right.
I like BP—but I would never donate. Shame that Krystal maliciously conflates the precocious puberty of a 6 year old with the actual puberty of a 12 year old. Is BP owned by the Pritzker family? How would Ms. KK feel if her teen daughter suddenly asked for T and a double mastectomy?
