Love Tom. Nicely positive, no political lectures. I love his view of the world.

They feel like friends/acquaintances just talking. Tom gives everyone their space. On 308 Craig Ferguson y’all were talking about Scrabble. I’m older than both of you & was family champion. Then the damn Googling ruined it. For years I hid the Dictionary & made up words & definitions. When they started Googling, I all of sudden said it was too hard for Gramma to see🤣

I love how he treats his guests. He always knows what they’ve been up to and details about the things that they have been working on. I love the fact that he bakes bread for each person and does his research to find the “uncomfortable moment” questions. I feel like you really get to know the people on the podcast in a way that is genuine and deeper than other types of interviews. Tom really knows how to show respect to his guests and make them feel seen so that they can open up and show us a new side of them that we don’t see when they are in the spotlight. What a great human being.

It’s weird how the show plays the first half again after the commercials. You get to hear the show twice in just one episode.

Very funny until midway thru when it started getting political. Most people are looking to escape politics after getting barraged all day and night on the news and online - disappointing enough where I just had to turn it off. Be comical not political.

I was recommended this podcast from a friend. I’m a huge Seinfeld fan. Enjoyed the carrot top episode and then had to listen to his delusion about the terrible state the country finds itself. Hopefully he the decides to do a comedy podcast. I think he’s a very funny comedian and will listen if he stuck to comedy.

Carrot top is hilarious and interesting. Look at the reviews mentioning Epsteins best friend! Literally the definition of snowflake weaklings! Such whiny MAGAts.

Tom Papa is great, so are his guests but I can never make it through the on-mic eating. No one likes that. This podcast would be ten times bigger if they’d knock that off.

Great show, but every time I hear the guests start eating I turn it off. One bite is fine but when they are talking while swallowing, it’s an instant unfollow. Don’t know how you will do so but please update me if you change this in the future.

Loved the episode with Aaron Weber. Saw him with Kathleen Madigan in Durham. Glad he’s moving forward!

I went to Tom Papas stand up show in Thousand Oaks a couple nights ago. He was HILARIOUS. I love it that he came out to the merch table and signed books, shook hands, and took pictures. What a warm, down to earth, friendly, talented man. I will drive the four hours to see him again!

With all the confrontational bro podcasts trying to be edgy, it’s nice to hear nice people having polite, funny and enlightening conversations. Tom even inspired me to take up bread making.

Tom you are my favorite! Small note saying yeah, right after every sentence from your guests when they are talking. It seems disinterested and distracting. I beg you, please allow some time for silence when people are talking. Then respond.

Tom. PLEASE try not to chuckle and comment through the guest talking It is literally hard to hear what the guest is saying through your constant chuckling. Try silence The Kimmel interview was so annoying and hard to listen to even though his stories were fun and interesting.

I love listening to the conversations that Tom has with his guests. You can tell they really enjoy talking to him and it does not feel forced

This show could be so much better if the guest had a microphone and could be heard. The parts that I could hear were great but the sound is inconsistent and I missed out on so much of the dialogue that I finally turned it off.

My favorite episodes are the ones without Kira. I love listening to Tom’s conversations with restauranteurs and the perils of missing a payroll or having to show up early to your favorite eatery before the senior citizens eat all the spare ribs. There is the original Breaking Bread with Tom Papa, in which you actually feel like you’re sitting at the table in some gritty dive with the best food in town, an up-and-coming sommelier, and a celebrity patron list that would make Chasen’s weep. Papa has a podcast gift of creating an intimate setting for some great conversations. Now there’s Breaking Bread with Kira. The intimate dinner conversation is gone. The dive speakeasy is gone. It’s basically Kira whining about PTA meetings and kiddie birthday parties. But Tom’s still there and he’s still shining. Just less so. Tom, if you’re reading this, no offense to Kira. But your original format was ethereal *and* gritty. Addictive. Please consider going back.

I agree with the other guy. Tom you don’t need the other guy. It’s your slow, not Kira. I had to stop, switched the listen. What ? You don’t need to piggyback Tom. Kira you can get your own podcast.

Love the the show Tom but please spare the winy drivel of Kira!. You can hold you own on the show with interesting guest. Kira just takes the ambiance away and just keviches and moans and about EVERYTHING and if I have to hear about her checking her kids butt I am going to smash my my car radio. You were much much better alone. Please tel her to stay home or get her own podcast she adds nothing to what was once a great great podcast!!! Tom you are a great example of a beautiful person,man,husband,father, and of course Comedian. Love the show and all the great people and places you introduce and reveal to me. Great interview style. I have listened to every one.

So far this has been a great podcast and I love Tom Papa. His podcast (IMO) had broadened my thinking and solidified thoughts and beliefs. It’s fun, interesting and thought provoking . Kudos to Tom for being more patient with the fringe opinions of some of his guests and friends that I wouldn’t be able to tolerate. Lol. (Like episode 23- solidified my thoughts about who Rogan is; and reinforced why I don’t like him)
