I never miss an episode of this podcast. These ladies are the best at reviewing products and interviewing beauty creators and influencers.

I love listening to this podcast, because Jill and Carlene really know and understand the beauty industry and their recommendations help me navigate the myriad of products available on the market. They also have amazing founders and industry professionals - I have learned a lot by listening to them!

I have been a listener of this podcast since 2019. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Jill and Carlene. I appreciate their knowledge on beauty. I love their different perspectives. I enjoy listening to different guests. My favorite were Killian, Daniel Martin and the LA facialist. I got follow so many creators and learn about so many brands after I started listening to this podcast.

I really appreciate just how deep into the brands Jill and Carlene go because now with an over-saturated beauty market — I want to shop diligently! And this podcast helps me do just that.

I’ve decided to unfollow. I can’t afford most of the skincare and treatments they discuss. I wouldn’t spend that much money on looking younger if I did have the money. This podcast just isn’t relevant for me.

You said Lead is the first beauty degree program. That’s a huge claim considering I have a Bachelor Of Science in Beauty Industry Merchandising and Market and Business Management! I should have known Dear Media would lie.

It’s about the investment / return It has nothing to do with “lack of inclusion” I think the American population at large is exhausted of this hatred and inferiority complex. Is there anything wrong with black brands focusing majorly on their demographic and not on white people, instead of HATING businesses that are simply catering more to their inspirations and demographic? People like this woman is creating RACISM . Why doesn’t she create HER OWN BRAND AND EXPERIENCE FIRST HAND HOW HARD IT IS TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY . Shame on you for piling on this ignorance , mediocrity of thought , rather than elevating conversation in society .

I was liking this podcast until I realized they feature guests who do not use evidence based products and methods.

Since I began listening, I’ve binged several episodes and look forward to each new one! As a “mature” beauty lover, I enjoy hearing Jill and Carlene’s recommendations and their honest reviews. They feature great guests, ask thoughtful questions, and their banter is so natural ❤️ Keep up the great work. This podcast hits every time!

I used to enjoy this podcast but it has truly just become a way for business owners (or as they call them “founders” to push their products and services. Another one bites the dust.

The podcast could be great with the exception of one of the hosts saying “mmhmm!” every 2 seconds, not exaggerating. It interrupts the other host and it’s just driven me crazy I can’t even listen anymore which is a BUMMER because I LOVED this podcast!!

This podcast is very informative and I like the guests they have on. I also like that they provide the links to products mentioned in episode. But the constant “MHMM” from the host drives me absolutely crazy!!!!

I love that the hosts ask great questions then, actually pause to let the guest answer questions without interruption! They speak to the young AND over 40 crowd and give their honest opinions that often differ from eachother without getting into a debate. So entertaining and your voices are so soothing without all the vocal fry prevalent in some shows. Keep up the excellent work ladies!

I needed to get my head out of the depressing world of US politics podcasts, so randomly searched for a beauty podcast. BB came up in the results so I started listening. Y’all have really given me a lot of joy, reawakening my desire to take better care of myself no matter what life is serving up. I feel like we are friends now! 😘Thanks for all your hard work. Regarding your latest derm episode, check out reputable companies like primary pure beef tallow products very healing … less on the Sephora skincare products most are not great

sometimes they have lovely guests, but other times they invite quacks to come on and spread misinformation and they hang on their every word.

I love that Jill and Carlene tell us about a variety of beauty topics. I enjoy the knowledgeable perspective they have on products, brands, ingredients, tools, and techniques. I find the episodes with beauty brand founders very interesting and always love hearing from makeup artists.

I’ve been listening to this podcast on and off for years and appreciate the in-depth information as well as recommendations. For me, it’s a joy to come back to time and time again. @wendysmithglisson

Love the show. Felt completely to offer some ideas for rosacea. I have seen a great improvement and I think it is mostly due to red light therapy. My doctor gave a script for Ivermectin cream. Also recommended using azelaic acid. The one from inky list has a slight green tint and I highly recommend trying it. Also I want to look into hypochloris acid spray… asking my derm about that soon. Anyway love the show- keep on doing what you do. Love the budget skincare btw.

Carlene and Jill have great chemistry together, and their years of experience in the industry ensure credibility when interviewing founders and beauty insiders. Honestly with so many podcasts today I’m hesitant to believe most products that are discussed because I assume they are biased and paid advertising. But I trust that Carline and Jill’s recommendations are unbiased and I’ve had really positive experiences with 4 items on their #damngood list! I’ve even reached out for specific product advice and they were so responsive and helpful. 💖💖💖

I listen to podcasts a lot because I travel for work and I am also obsessed with looking at lists of best beauty products haha. However always have that nagging feeling that things are sponsored and that’s what they come highly recommended. Not with Breaking Beauty!! Jill and Carlene are SO fun and sweet and industry professionals who give you the real scoop on all the products they try, what type of skin/concern it may work for, cost conscious options for us regular girls. They are funny, engaging, and have amazing guests who they ask the best questions to. I’ve been listening nonstop since I found this podcast! Loving it and I can get my beauty lists on the go, AMAZING!!

I have found so many great products that I recommend to others. I’m that person that other women call when they need a mascara or moisturizer recommendation because I’ve bought them all.
