Listened to one where the guest legit just lies about Catholics and no one corrected a thing, cause no one knows anything, and then the actual guest is a pastor …. But like didn’t know basic facts about the Bible…. Just make up what you want to hear

This was my go to podcast, but the last year or so it has become more of a cult than true teachings. They claim to be bible believing yet they don’t know the bible. The guest with the first name James was the last straw. He literally said all churches are chasing after the anti christ. Really? The only thing that matters is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Forbid if you call them out on Facebook, most in that group worship Blurry Creatures and not God. There are so many things their guests say that aren’t biblically sound yet the host says nothing, but just go along with it. I’ve cancelled my membership. There are so many lies being said it’s nauseating. If you know your bible then you know this is a false podcast.

Have listened to every episode. Love you guys and your content, but the commercials are getting a bit much.

I have listened to every episode of this podcast. I have to say, this is my last episode. I can’t take it any more. The guest can’t speak on a single topic without being taken off on some tangent. Once or twice I can see. But the hosts are constantly interrupting and asking off topic questions. It really unfortunate. At the beginning, the hosts rarely spoke. Now, they have fallen in love with their own voices and can’t seem to be quiet for 5 minutes. The latest episode with Ryan Pitterson was the straw that broke the camels back. JUST SHUT UP AND LET THE GUEST SPEAK UNINTERRUPTED!!!!

This show is a recent discovery for me and man, I wish I found it sooner. Now I’m going back and starting from episode 1! Entertaining, the right amount of weird, funny, and all from a Biblical worldview. A must for Christian’s looking for a show about the fringe topics of Scripture.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but these guys deserve it. Amazing content. I’ve been listening for a few years but the recent episode with Kirk Cameron was a must listen. Too good. Great job, keep up the good work. Keep asking the hard questions. People like me who grew up in the church, in Northern California, are coming back. You’re speaking to us.

My anti-Jesus sibling asked me to read this book, Alien Interview by Lawrence R. Spencer. It’s about how earth is a dumping ground for aliens and how the church has brainwashed the aliens (us) into thinking there is a heaven and to follow the ‘light’ to be re brainwashed and sent back here. Moses was brainwashed by the leader of the aliens to convince him he was God to continue this brainwashing. It’s a lot. I need assistance and some Jesus after that book 😂

The more I watched Blurry Creatures the more I wanted to brush my teeth. Started using deodorant again. I found where the shower was in my home. And now I have a couple of friends. Thanks Bluury Creatures

I love Jesus. I Love these topics, unlearning and learning so much all at the same time. I'm learning things that have made me laugh, made me squinty, learning things to amuse and to help myself and potters. I'm a proud step-mother. I have new options to help my kids thru things that possibly happened before I met them.

Good podcast. They let guest speak, no matter how out there they are lol latest episode a perfect example. These weirdos come on, they think they have something special to bring. The Bible is God revealing himself to us, not us finding these weird ways to show how special we are. I skip (even cancelled my subscription) on episodes where these people try to exalt themselves. It’s a good podcast. But too many people try to exalt themselves as chosen lol

Your guests are fascinating, but I can hardly hear Nate and Luke. Maybe it’s just my ears…

I REALLY love the guests being brought on to this show, many are people I've followed on other platforms for over 10 years. I am A member as well. I would love this show SO much more if they would PLEASE stop interrupting the guest and let them complete a thought and somewhat direct the conversation only. Not make long comments and jokes on every thought or topic. But that's me.

I found out about this show on the Duck call room with Uncle Si when they were guests on there and I have been hooked ever since I love how they talk about how all this supernatural stuff is in the Bible and it just is the coolest thing to me love the show guys keep it up guys

Fantastic details about the supernatural world we live in through a biblical lens’s. Not afraid to push the boundaries and to hear people finally call some of these creatures demons makes me feel a little more normal. We have a SZ adult son ( been 13 years since it presented ). We believe it is demonic due to who he talks to and what he says. To hear adults confirming the spiritual world around us makes me share this with anyone who is asking questions.

I was listening today, the Salem Witch trials episode we own. The only question or issue I have is you guys act like whoever you have on the show is right and the way someone’s granddad was reading it was wrong. But then the gentleman says as he reads a verse again and admittedly he read it wrong and has a different outlook. Of course it’s supernatural… But where is the line between supernatural and “woo woo” for you guys. Nobody knows I think it would be good to always stay open minded, especially with people’s experiences and interpretations and not particularly be so one sided. other than that, keep up the good work.

I found this show just this year. Now going through entire backlog. I got my wife hooked too. I'm blown away and thankful to find a Jesus oriented podcast discussing this stuff. I had no clue there was a whole culture and community out there that isn't afraid to talk about everything blurry. Love it. Thanks guys!!!

but if you’re not a paying member, you’re cheated of some great episodes. They won’t even acknowledge when a person hypes them up unless you shell out money once a month. They talk more about Heiser than they do God and they find it ok to exploit people on social media through memes. Once these memes are deemed offensive and insensitive, they don’t address it nor do they apologize. They’re starting to act like they know everything, they interrupt one another and their guests. The main guy is slowly getting pushed out by the other guy who clearly is starting to get more and more annoyed; listen to the red heifer update where one of them talks about being a redhead and the other guy makes a comment where you can tell he’s so annoyed and clearly gaining more control over the show and I’ve seen this happen over the last year or more. After following this podcast almost since the get go, it’s time I move on from Blurry Creatures and all the other wannabe Christian knockoffs. And now more and more greed creeps in as they insert ad after ad throughout an episode to the point that it loses its impact. They’re not the only Christian podcast that does this. All of these samey shows are doing the same thing.

Consolidating a JRR Tolkien length review: Solid show, great hosts with agreeable/melodious voices, extremely intriguing topics & a consistently sturdy baseline. Regardless of your political, spiritual/“religious” or personal views, Blurry Creatures is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a consistently great show. Keep it up fellas. A salute & nod of appreciation from the East Side.

I absolutely love this podcast. It’s engaging, insightful, and packed with fascinating information. The range of guests is impressive, and each one brings thoughtful perspectives—not only from their area of expertise, but also from the Bible, history, and current world events. If I could offer one piece of feedback, it would be about the frequency of interruptions from Nate. There are times when a guest is explaining something or responding to a thoughtful question, and Nate interjects—sometimes with a joke or a brief tangent—which can break the flow. Addressing this would make an already excellent podcast even better.

Just an aside, I was brought back to Christianity by Dr. Heiser. The Church needs answers to our questions about the supernatural. We need to be honest about our old Biblical teachings because the Church is not catching up. Materialism is failing and Augustine theology is lacking. Through this podcast I find humble hosts genuinely searching for truth and keeping our Lord in the background but always there. Religious but not overtly so. The more I study, the more I realize the Bible (post Dead Sea Scrolls) has the answers we need. You’ve have a fan. Thanks gentlemen.

Just a great show, with the right amount of seriousness and witty banter. These guys are great and us Gen X’rs can really relate to all the nostalgia. Also, love the outro music so much that I listen to it in its entirety for every show!!!

Fantastic show, but the “members only” for most of the episodes is a deal breaker for me. Being a faith-based podcast, thought you might want to keep open to everyone. Lots of complaints about this, maybe an explanation to your listeners is in order. Plenty of great podcasts without a pay wall.

Most episodes lately are members only. There isn’t really a point to follow them since you have to pay to listen now. It was good while it lasted.💔

So I have given them my credit card and tried to become a member yet I’m still being forced to listen to podcast as if I haven’t paid and if I’m not a member. I’m out. You guys have awful customer service.

I enjoy the show and rate it highly, but I’m noticing lately that A LOT of their episodes are being offered to paying subscribers only. I guess these guys gotta do what they gotta do… Oh well, it’s an interesting and thought provoking show other than that but I get concerned about paywalls and things like that standing in the way of exchanging and sharing thoughts and ideas. It seems a little contrary to the premise of this show.

This is the OG in this genre and I’ve followed it from day one the truths revealed are paradigm shifting and pregnant with meaning. Keep it up gents Just make sure you allow the guests to talk sometimes! 😉

They have guests come on and talk about how awesome Netanyahu is, and then throw in some biblical Bigfoot speculation or something… just bizarre, and not in a good way….

One thing that I love about Blurry Creatures is that they bring in some of the most memorable humans with incredible stories. It’s definitely refreshing not having to listen to a podcast with the same celebrity all of the podcasters are bringing on to their show within the same week. Everything is so repetitive in the podcast community that it gets boring after a while. Thank God Blurry Creatures is different and never once tried to be like everyone else. Anyways, episode 361 with Joe Anderson has to be one of my favorite episodes of all time from Blurry Creatures and any other podcast. I really hope they bring him back again for more stories!! The way Joe speaks and tells his story is so captivating and detailed that I could not stop listening. I was hooked immediately!! I love that he was able to share his story and never once be interrupted by Nate and Luke. Definitely a great episode! I’ve shared this episode with multiple friends and everyone loved it, and even started to listen to other episodes on BC for the first time. Please bring Joe back and Lee Strobel lol!!

I’ve been listening for a while now and I love the show. I just got through listening to the failed exorcism and I’m numb. The guest was a great speaker and I’m thankful that you guys just let him go with it with minimal interruption. I was completely captivated by the story and couldn’t stop listening.

It’s like strip mall church televangelist sermons for fans of The X-Files. The Protestant zeal is unusually strong and comes across as uneducated self-glorification. As an Orthodox Christian (and a big fan of The X-Files!), I could not get past 30 minutes.

Blurry Creatures is an outstanding podcast. I’m impressed with how they connect biblical stories to fascinating topics while bringing on excellent guests who can speak about these subjects with real depth and intellect. I’ve learned so much from listening, and it has brought clarity to many questions I’ve had for years. This podcast (and their YouTube channel) is truly eye-opening, and I hope more people discover it—it’s well worth your time!

The esposides I’ve listened to are super interesting and the hosts do a great job with the interviews

I love these guys because they are straight forward and they are just like every day dudes. I also like that they come at this with an open but conservative mindset.

As others have said this podcast has really strengthened my faith in the last 6months as I’ve been listening. So many dots connecting. Keep it up!

I am so thankful for this podcast! It helps bridge the gap between my natural, God-given curiosity in the supernatural and the biblical knowledge I already have from growing up in church!

Finishing episode 17 and man… I am loving every bit of every conversation. Just like Nate said, I could listen to hundreds of conversations about Nephi and Giants and watchers and fallen angels and chimera. Growing up mostly southern Baptist, I didn’t get all of this extra information of why exactly God flooded the Earth, the types of people groups that God order the Israelites to exterminate…. But the more you realize just how The principalities and powers and spiritual aspects there are of the Bible, the more a lot of things become clearer and clearer. Thank you guys so much for starting this podcast and I look forward to catching up

Love this podcast so much! I personally love that it has gone in the direction that it has and I can’t get enough of the biblical phenomena type of episodes. Nate and Luke are great hosts ! I will say though I agree with others in the comments about one small thing. There’s been many times where the guest is either in the middle of answering a direct question or in the middle of explaining or supporting something that they were just talking about and then it’s completely interrupted with insight or an opinion of one of the hosts. That’s the only encouragement I would give is to perhaps try and let your guest finish with those things a little more? Other than that small thing though it’s an absolute masterpiece of a show! Thanks guys!
