-18. This passage contrasts worldly wisdom and Biblical wisdom. Worldly wisdom is from below and is even demonically influenced. It shows up in jealousy and selfish ambition. And over time, it produces bad fruit in our lives. Biblical wisdom, on the other hand, is from above, from God. It produces meekness in our hearts that expresses itself in good conduct. And it produces a harvest of righteousness.
