Love this podcast
I have been listening to this for years before they connected with AudioChuck. Still love it. I wanted to say that I have heard the story on another podcast that recent episode (Deadly Cocktail) presents , but this is so much better and having the prosecutor who handled the case tell how they figured out the case is compelling. I love the two hosts and their expertise and explanations.

Best Crime Podcast
This is the best crime podcast out there! It’s so interesting to hear their expert perspectives on cases and get firsthand accounts. The best thing, in my opinion, is that there is no excessive political talk/opinions and they do not get off track from the crime.
So many crime podcasts these days are people just joking around, talking, shoving their political views in your face, and then only briefly talking about the actual crime. That’s such a disservice to the people impacted by the crime.
This show does it the best and respects the people affected by the crime the best way possible.

Procedural at Its Best
I listen to true crime a lot and AOM is my favorite as it explains how cases gets solved while also honoring victims

IMO Best podcast on the subject
I love this show. So organized, professionally presented, and intelligent conversation.
Oh, but- !!!AUDIOCHUCK!!!! please get rid of the terrible ads for Carls Jr, the loud advertising voice is too jarring and nothing like the other tolerable ads.

Informative and interesting
There is nothing at all political about this podcast and I love it even more because of that!
The hosts are experts and very knowledgeable. It’s a well researched, respectful podcast and WOW is it nice to hear zero political opinions or rants on a podcast. Yay!

Nothing compares
Without a doubt the best murder podcast I’ve listened too.. after listening to anatomy of murder I lost interest in all other shows and can’t find a new one cause I compare it to the best and it’s not even close !!

One Of The Best True Crime Podcast
I LOVE this true crime podcast. Very professional. Love the hosts, Anna-Sigga and Scott. Their combined background, experience and knowledge give the podcast such a unique perspective. They focus on telling the stories of the victims and their loved ones in such a respectful way. You can tell when they speak, they are speaking from their hearts. Highly recommend this podcast. It’s one of the best.

I’ll give it three stars.
Good show, hosts are okay, content is good. One comment about Scott’s audio… a little room treatment can go a long way.

Anna-Sigga’s questionable credibility
Hard to take this podcast seriously when one of the hosts is a former prosecutor with mounting evidence of misconduct against her. Look into the case of John Giuca for one.

Good
It’s good but at some point they draw things out and it gets annoying. Like the Morgan Harrington episode 10 minutes was dedicated to the mom talking and not advancing anything. We get it it’s tragic but this is also a podcast…

Best crime podcast
I’ve listened to a lot of true crime podcasts, but gave this one a shot a week ago and it’s now my favorite by far! Presents only solved cases, from a law enforcement perspective, and I personally love the recordings played. well done!!

The best!
This is my favorite podcast. They are great storytellers and I love the format and how everything is presented. All the cases they present are interesting and not ones you have heard on other true crime podcasts. I never miss an episode!

Good Content
I have a hatd time listening to that female host. It is obvious that she is reading a script and her inflections are like she is reading a story to a young child. Male narrator is easy to listen to and sounds very natural.
Good succinct content though.

Amazing
I started listening to AOM in January I believe, and just couldn’t stop. There are times where I do miss some episodes/weeks because I get busy and just don’t have the time. But when I regain focus and have some form of free time I make sure to catch up ( I normally binge at night before bed, or during work) overall 10/10 and highly recommend this podcast.

Well done but…
This podcast is well produced and the research is top notch but I can only listen in small segments. The hosts constantly speak in a sing-song manner as if talking to kindergarteners or as if they are local news reporters. It’s grating and it causes ear fatigue. In addition to the repetitive speaking pattern, almost every sentence in the narration is written in the same compound way, “Although Roger was known to sell drugs from time to time (speakers pitch rising to a peek), police didn’t think these activities had anything to do with his murder (pitch descending).” And repeat for 30+ minutes.

Incarcerated people reviewing this Podcast
I think this is a great podcast. It’s very well done with all the respect that’s due to the victims. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that lots of people are not reviewing the podcast but hating on the hosts for doing their jobs. I guess people don’t understand that the purpose of reviewing the podcast is to review the podcast, not the person and your incarcerated friends should probably be where they are so stop sticking up for these losers.

Anna-Sigga is the coolest
AOM is the best. I’m enthralled with every episode and I love Anna-Sigga’s style of vernacular as she educates and entertains me every week. I quote Scott in conversations. Guess I like them both but would like to hear more individual perspectives that are not always on the same page with each other’s perspectives and narratives. Thanks for sharing your experience and your feelings with us so don’t stop bringing us the best shows on audio-chuck. Especially when CHUCK APPROVES. I absolutely adore that husky howl and can’t wait for his voice at the end of every episode

Can’t listen…
Especially after finding out how the prosecutor on this show won’t admit wrongdoing when locking up a potentially innocent man and won’t even try to help get a new trial cause she doesn’t want to have a blemish on her “perfect” record

Crime Junkie should know better
I am really disappointed that Ashley would agree to work with Nicolazzi who was notorious in New York for putting innocent people behind bars & preferring winning cases at all costs over actual justice. You’ll find plenty of stories on other true crime shows that talk about her ruthlessness. She intimidated and threatened witnesses, bribed jailhouse snitches with deals, and in at least two cases put very young innocent people behind bars. She has no empathy or morals whatsoever. I am so disappointed that crime junkie is working with her.
Also for the Xenophobes complaining about 2018 Tibbets murder, it was highly politicized by REPUBLICANS which interfered with the case. Which is relevant. Also Rivera was working on a farm for a republican politician. Immigrants sneak across the border during all the presidencies. But immigrants kill far fewer people than US citizens do.

Lost respect for Anna-Sigga
I have lost respect for Anna-Sigga after learning how she handled the John Guica case. I encourage you to listen to the 20/20 episode “Undercover Mother” about his murder trial. Anna-Sigga’s two main witnesses have admitted they lied on the stand! I long for the day that a prosecutor or DA finally admits they are wrong!!

What about this case? It’d be great to hear on this show.

Audio problem
The show is so good except for the audio of contributors. I have been told I have great hearing and it’s hard to listen with the people talking in bad audio situations. There is a solution . Please address this

Excellent
It took me a while, but I listened to every episode. So well done, so riveting. A childhood friend of mine has been missing since 1986. It appears police have nowhere to go with the case, because not much has ever seemed to be done in finding out what happened. After listening to every episode of this show, I’m both optimistic and pessimistic that her case will ever be solved.

Hosts’ input is largely tiresome and redundant
This show would be pretty decent if it weren’t for the hosts’ penchant for restating things that don’t need to be restated “y’know, the witness saying that they heard an argument just before the gunshots means that there could have been a verbal altercation before the shooting”……thank you for explaining that an argument means a verbal altercation. And they do this ALL THE TIME, the entire show. Either reiterating things that were JUST said very plainly, but somehow the listeners of AOM are too stupid to understand plain English the first time, so they reiterate it for us because we’re busy cleaning out our drool cups or something.
Anyway, PLEASE try to respect your audience and DO NOT reiterate words / concepts that are already PLAINLY said.
The vast majority of people listening to true crime podcasts are not listening for the first time, so you don’t need to act like AOM is kindergarten for true crime listeners.

You’re using bad facts
Children being killed by guns is not the #1 way they die. You need to look at the facts. You’re using data that includes 18+. 18 and up are not kids. Please don’t be sloppy with facts because they don’t suit your gun narrative. You owe listeners an apology and the true stats.

Do better, be HONEST-TRUTHFUL
Anna the FACTS are you were NOT the prosecutor you have claimed to be. Several other podcasts cover CASE that YOU-Anna prosecuted, and in all of the podcast covering cases you -Anna were involved in, NOT one single case speaks of you as being an ethical prosecutor. Anna, you did a lot of outright ILLEGAL behavior, all to win the case. Anna you have single handily put INNOCENT MEN in prison for life, that are FACTUALLY INNOCENT. BUT, due to the American system, getting the INNOCENT men out of prison is nearly impossible. Anna you should be ashamed of yourself. There will come a day when you will be called to answer for your illegal choices. Thankfully, now individuals are going after prosecutors just like you. For those prosecutors that was all about the WIN, not the facts, you and countless others are going to face justice of your own…

Blatant Copaganda
This show has been recommended to me on a few occasions as someone who works in the legal field, and who has an extensive background in working with victims of violent crime.
While I previously happened upon random episodes here and there, I really started listening regularly a couple of months ago.
At this point, I have done my best to have an open mind, but the tone and comments of the podcast hosts is simply absolutely insufferable.
This podcast is quite literally pro cop propaganda. They are police misconduct apologists, and their commentary is beyond irresponsible - it is down right reprehensible.
Gloria’s episode was my final straw. The hosts’ response to the police department’s thinly veiled racism was spineless, pathetic, and disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and find a more worthy podcast.

Over it
I’ve listened to this show for a while. I’ve been uncomfortable for a while with the way this show glosses over or completely writes off police misconduct or incompetence. The last 2 weeks though, have hit a new level of awful. Advocating for teens to be put into adult prison and calling juvenile justice “misguided” feels real gross.
Thejenjenjen
My former prosecutor crim pro prof does better than this
This podcast…will recite cases I’ve read about (law student) and gloss over egregious police conduct + either gloss or exclude facts that demonstrate that. Recently they celebrated a juvenile being sentenced as an adult, the police officer said the new bill in Oregon to bar juvenile offenders from going to adult prison was a “large impediment” to prosecuting them like an adult. Even though as a former prosecutor and officer, both hosts are aware why juveniles shouldn’t be in with adult offenders. Typically these crime shows are willing to examine bad policing to a degree but this podcast has learned the art of spin to an impeccably pathetic degree. Also makes sense that Anna Sigga is comfy w this as she convicted an innocent kid. flipping prosecutors dude.

Great show
I love the show! I wish the audio was a little better though when interviewing other people. I’m hard of hearing and it often comes through a little muffled for me, and/or the volume doesn’t go as loud. Just hoping you’ll see the comment and possibly make this a little better! Highly recommend the podcast though

I’m very disappointed
Anna Sigga put an innocent KID in prison??? I was shocked to hear this, and very disappointed. I love the format of this podcast and it is very informative, but when I heard abt this case, I couldn’t listen to it anymore.

Transphobia???
Murder is NEVER ok. Lying about your sex to a potential sexual partner is also not ok! It’s NOT transphobic for a straight man, who has been lied to, to be absolutely repulsed and disgusted. Unintelligent, “woke” hosts ruin the podcast.
puzzles are amazing
Amazingly binge worthy!!!
True crime perfection presentation in every way!

Anna did what?
Google her and John Guica… she was found by an appellate court for misconduct in suppressing evidence. Wild.

One-sided Anatomy
I was particularly interested in the fetal abduction case so I did some research and it turned out the perpetrator Lisa Montgomery was indeed sexually and physically abused and tortured her entire childhood and teenage years. The abuse and torture were so severe that I had reasons to be believe she was out touch of reality when she committed the crime. There was video evidence of her ex-husband whom she was fighting against for custody raping and beating her but the show only mentioned how Lisa Montgomery was lying about her infertility. It’s also bizarre and noteworthy that Lisa Montgomery was the only one who was executed for fetal abduction while the other perpetrators who had committed the same crime all escaped death penalty. The show really could have talked about this more.
This show is very one-sided and only focuses on the heinousness of homicide but does nothing to actually explore why murders happen. Of course, there is nothing wrong with focusing on putting killers behind bars and praising law enforcement for their diligence but given the name of show “anatomy of murder”, the anatomy feels inadequate and incomplete. I would still follow the show though. It’s good and informing. But I encourage listeners to do research on their own to find more about the cases discussed by the show.

Justice For John Giuca
Justice for Mark Fisher and Justice for John Giuca. I loved this podcast until recently. You claim to tell the victims stories but what about the man who wrongfully convicted to save you “winning” record. He is a victim of you Anna-Sigga. Shame on you.
