Too many repeats
Solid podcast, love the episodes but there are way too many repeats and encores. More new content please

Lindsay Rocks!
This is probably my favorite Lindsay Graham podcast, but he’s such a great host that I’m willing to give any of his shows a try. The topics are fascinating & wonderfully presented!

My favorite podcast ever!
Lindsey and the Wondery team do an amazing job with this podcast. It is absolutely my favorite podcast. The production value of each episode comes through to my ears and I feel like I’m transported to the time and moments they are presenting. One episode they mentioned a break in an FBI office that was right down the road from my apt! I am so thankful I found this podcast because it is always calming while touching on difficult topics throughout American history! Such an awesome listen!

It’s great but…
I would give it 5 stars, but please, how many “imagine….” do we really need???

It’s one of my favorite podcasts
I love it how Lindsey Graham narrates the episode and how he tells them. Also they really make good episodes but there are a few seasons that are not that good but mostly it’s a good podcast

Subscriber edition has commercials
Love the series, one of the best! Unfortunately, despite my having a paid Wondery subscription, the Loch Ness episode is peppered with annoying commercials. What’s up with that?

Engaging and Cinematic Storytelling
While not every series of American History Tellers grabs my interest, the ones that do are absolutely fantastic. When a topic resonates with me, I find myself fully hooked—I can’t wait to finish the series or hear the next episode. Host Lindsay Graham does an exceptional job bringing history to life. His narration and storytelling make it feel like I’m watching a movie rather than listening to a podcast. A definite five-star experience when the topic hits!

History comes alive!
This is my new favorite podcast! I always enjoyed history in school, but this tells a deeper, more personal story and brings it to life. This podcast creates an idea of what it would have been like to be there and transports the listener back to that time in history.

Empowering Listen!
This was spectacularly done & captivating from start to finish. It’s stunning to see how many modern day women take for granted what our women fought so hard to gain. Every single thing.
Everyone should give this a listen, no matter how much you may know on the subject, you’ll learn something new!

Best history podcast ever
I really love this podcast, but a lot of people talk about the cooking aspect and I have no idea what they’re talking about. This is not a cooking show. This is American history tellers a.k.a. the best artist ever and by the best artist I mean America.

Fantastic
Keep up the good work with the show

Dude they never said it was a cooking show
Guy on the drums or whatever it never was going to be a cooking show he’s been talking about history because it’s a history podcast I really hope you were just joking around because if you weren’t that would be bad.

The best history podcast
American history tellers is the absolute best history podcast going. Great topics, reliable research, high production, values, and accessible presentation. Only Dan Snow’s History Hit comes close.

Worst cooking show ever
This is the worst cooking podcast I’ve ever heard. He literally doesn’t even talk about baking or cooking the entire podcast. He seems to interested in history then actually giving good cooking advice. Every season he seems to change the history topic and get even more off the cooking topic. To his credit the history commentary isn’t bad, but I don’t get why he doesn’t just start a history podcast in its self.
One star.

The People’s Podcast
Entertaining dramatization of the Cold War but it’s basically Howard Zinn’s The People’s History in podcast form, and that’s not meant to be a compliment. Leftist leaning conclusions sprinkledwith some factual errors.

Trigger warning please
I love LG’s podcasts. He does a great job! But please give a trigger warning before mentioning animal cruelty.

Enlightening Perspectives
I so look forward to these engaging, nuanced and enlightening history podcasts by Graham and the Tellers’ Team! Complex historical perspectives are made understandable through voice re-enactment. Recommended for young and old alike.

Excellent
Thank you for an engaging retelling of the Salem witch trials. Having grown up in MA, it’s always been a strange occurrence in our history. I appreciate the interview skills of host as well as the NO cursing laden banter by host and guests. Refreshing!!
Can’t wait to listen to more history.

Amazing
I love this because I never learned this much in school. Thank you for teaching me more about American history

wrong details
You have some details wrong. It was the southern Democrats that fought against desegregation not the Republicans.

Incredible Listen
I feel infinitely smarter having listened to almost every episode of this podcast. Every story is made so interesting because the storytelling is unmatched. Lindsay Graham (the good one) deserves his own fan club and I’m offering to be the president!

Salem Witch Trials & Buffalo Soldiers
Great series about both the Salem witch trials and the Buffalo Soldiers (especially during Black History Month). Thought I’d heard it all about these trials, but I was wrong. Thank you Lindsay, you’re a great story teller & Ive been listening to your various podcasts for years. Keep ‘em coming!

Lindsay graham didn’t get the memo
Apparently he didn’t pay attention when the majority of the country voted to put an end to the woke insanity going on and the constant racism you hear on every podcast Lindsay Graham owns or works for. Instead of moving on, day after day, show after show, all you hear is constant tales of racism. He’s obsessed with it. Maybe it’ll take most his listeners to stop tuning in for him to get it. It’s sad since it’s a great show minus his racism.
Lindsay, there’s more American history than just black mistreatment. Tell it all not just my black history. We don’t want to be singled out. I’ll close with telling you how filthy it makes you look thinking your so virtuous and politically correct.

Engaging Storytelling
I've always wanted to learn more about history, but I have a short attention span and get bored with facts and dates. His engaging storytelling connects with me in a way that a classroom lecture does not.

Great history podcast!
This is my go to podcast for driving in the car. The stories are interesting and never fail to help the miles pass quickly. My one suggestion would be to get a female to read the women’s roles. It would help diversify the readings and make it that much more realistic

Amazing Podcast
I loved it and Lindsay Grant has a great voice. My fave is season 68 with World War 1.

More Marginalize Voices
I appreciate the content presented in the American History Tellers podcast and find it engaging. However, one area for improvement is the inclusion of more comprehensive explorations of perspectives that have historically been marginalized within American culture. Enhancing the narrative to incorporate these voices would contribute significantly to a more nuanced understanding of American history. For instance, figures such as Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, and Native American activists, alongside the significance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), could provide valuable insights into the diversity of experiences that have shaped the American narrative. While there are some commendable attempts, such as discussions about the Tulsa riots, the podcast would benefit from a broader representation of these marginalized voices, which have often been misunderstood or portrayed negatively. Acknowledging their contributions would not only enrich the historical discourse but also underscore their role in the pursuit of the American Dream and in the enhancement of America as a whole as well as complete the American story.

I love this podcast
I think Lindsay does a great job with this podcast. His voices are spot on, and he puts a lot of passion into doing these. A lot of the bad reviews are because of the ads, but I think they’re fine. Lindsay makes some of the ads stories, and it fits in with the podcast. They don’t happen very often, and they don’t last long! Just fast forward them if you need too! This podcast is amazing.
I love hearing about the different history stories, and how they impact us today! Their my daily history lesson :)

Liberal Revisionist
I like history and enjoyed this podcast at first. Got tired of the liberal revisionist history after a while though. Like for instance did you know that everything that has ever happened in the history of America has to do with racism? I’ve studied history for 25 years but didn’t know this until this podcast told me so…in every single episode. When he stated that prohibition in the US was because of racism towards blacks living in inner cities, I had had enough political rhetoric. There are much more objective sources of history out there.

Podcast Gold
I could listen to Lindsey Graham all day. He makes history come alive.

🎶To the Left, to the Left🎶
An obvious left leaning description of history. Credit given to certain individuals, while luck can only be attributed to others. And apparently America can never do anything right. If you can sift out the bias and think for yourself it’s a good story telling podcast.

Awesome 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
I absolutely love this podcast. It helps me get a bunch of stuff done around the house. The ads are kind of long and annoying though, but I understand why we can’t cannot have ads anyway I have to get back to getting to work. This is an amazing podcast absolutely

Listened to Every Single One!
Nobody does history better than Lindsay Graham. Even the ones I didn’t think I’d like end up being fascinating! My only regret is that he can’t make them as fast as I listen to them. I take him out to the woods while I walk. Beautiful! Thank you!

Best history podcast
I love all the podcast Lindsay does. The story telling is great. I have been listening for years with my daughter. (11) she lives how the story is told. The narrative being blended with history and story telling.

I love this podcast❣️they are the perfect length for me! I think this podcast would be a five, but it is a four because the ad breaks are sooooooooo looooooongggg. If you shorten the ad breaks it would be a five. 😌

Advertisements every minute or so make it insufferable
The content of the podcast is interesting, but the advertisements are so frequent that it is not worth listening to.

1927 Mississippi Flood
I am so happy I found this podcast. My great great grandparents lived through the 1927 flood. They had property on the river close to Greenville. Luckily, they survived. This podcast gives me a glimpse of what they experienced.
