Where y'all at

PFF has such a unique niche in this space with their data driven analysis. As such, it’s shocking how little they reference it in their analysis. Dalton - while able to be appreciably self deprecating is alternately too in love with his own opinion for the good of the podcast. This used to be my go-to, now I often skip it. He repeatedly and flippantly says about offensive line prospects “ehh flip him to the other side” which PFF’s OWN DATA (citing research directly from his predecessors Sam & Steve) clearly shows how unlikely that is to succeed. When doing back-and-forth mocks with co-hosts he also constantly pushes his opinions on his co-hosts when it’s their pick. STAY. IN. YOUR. LANE.

Please stop asking Judah to talk, worst speaker ever..you think he’d learn to not say…”ahhhh” so much. He ruins the show.

These guys base their predictions and how a team is by numbers and PFF grades. It feels childish. Sometimes you gotta throw the numbers out the door and understand that this is football. Most of the time their predictions are way off.

I love this show and the intro is so good but can you guys do more rankings and redrafts?

Please help a brother out Guys long time listener, and a PFF subscriber. It’s really simple. I’m listening religiously. I’m frustrated because you don’t say the position of the player. Basically you say the full names of these players you read them off in such a quick fashion. Ok With a simple position reference would add so much context. Just go back and listen to your podcasts, Could you at least tell us what position just simply say the position they’re playing please?? Full name and defensive line name, offensive line cornerback etc. etc. it’s pretty simple. I can’t be the only one that doesn’t know every single one of these guys what position they play we’re listening to the show so that we can learn.

PFF podcasts were great back when they had guys like Connor Rogers and Mike Renner bantering with Trevor on different shows. Now it’s just not the same.

Now, it’s unlistenable. The DEI host (Mrs. gurgle voice) is punishing to hear. Are my eyes supposed to bleed when she talks?

Been listening significantly less since Sam and Steve left. Hard to enjoy with the new hosts. Trevor is fine. He deserves 3 stars on a good day but the rest drop this to 2. Disappointing.

Live by the PFF rankings and love the pod!

I’ve learned so much from this show, Trevor and dalton are W guys.

He’s a foul-mouthed amateur who has no class (referencing the episode talking about Josh Allen and Robert Saleh). Get the F-bombs off the air. I listen to this for analysis, not for one’s classless, profane and childish behavior. Trevor is a pro for the most part (even though he isn’t Sam or Steve), and his guests not named Seth are alright. Keep Seth off the air and this show goes back to “Steve and Sam” level (as in, a professional and elite level).

You guys really couldn’t just pay Sam and Steve??? I like Trevor enough but holy cow what a downgrade to have guys like Seth on who literally put listeners to sleep. Can you at least have more than one replacement that sounds professional and worthy of podcast time? What a disappointing pivot this has been. Just isn’t a go-to pod for me any more with this change. Oof.

Been a longtime fan of the show, but with transition in hosts and format I’m struggling to make it through episodes. The number of pff stats quoted per minute is through the roof, and the analysis is essential “this number is big, that good” or “this number is small, that’s not what we expected” I get it that these stats are what off does, but the show used to sound more like a discussion between friends who have a shared analytical frame of reference- pdf stats were part of the conversation, but not the beginning and end. The new host/format now feels a lot more like just like two bros rapidly reading stats back and forth at each other off a piece of paper as I vaguely consider leaving the conversation.

Excellent podcast and a must listen for any NFL fan. Tre and Dalton work really well together.

What is the point of him on the show? He is not critical of anyone. He barely comes in and when he is out, is comm is awful. When he is on, he sounds like all he can’t wait to get the show done.

It would be a good show but for sams annoying accent, it sounds american til he says “hhaaaahhnds” and “paaahhhss”. So youve got to hear several times a show genius takes like”when the receiver, catches the paaahhhss w his hhaahhnds…” and then i get that stuck in my head for a week and caaahhnt unhear it. He sounds very pretentious on top of that. Fix your irish accent either sound irish or american, dont save 5 words to mispronounce 5 times a podcast.

I’ve tried to find other shows to add to my rotation but it’s really just these guys and the Ross Tucker Podcast for me.

Literally the one sports podcast/show that doesn’t quickly get tired and/or annoying after a few listens. I don’t know how much work went into placing BG and Sam together if it was just a flip of a coin, but they’re the best at what they do. I could listen to them talk shop all day. And they truly are very insightful and helpful with their on field analysis etc — I’ve learned tons of stuff I barely knew existed outside of the show — but they’re also funny and entertaining in a natural way that keeps the show moving and never really try-hard. Point is, if you’re not already a regular listener and you enjoy ball — subscribe and give it a few eps and I promise you won’t be disappointed at all

Sam & Steve’s retelling of the SB Covid incident is high level comedy! Intelligent show with thoughtful analysis. A great listen!

wow—for both of you not to see that the point of kicking a FG on the first of the two bad 4th down decisions was to make it a 3 score game with 20min to go is astonishing. i know that you need to be committed to your analytics, but it is blind allegiance that damns your position. that decision was sheer stupidity — the point is to win the game, not try to prove your point…

Most of the best PFF talent is gone now and this product has suffered too

I really like the hosts and the style of analysis, however cutting those 2+ hour episodes to more like 1.5 hours would be good. Just have to cut some of that tangential filler.

Love all the hosts save Brad Spielberger and his grating sing song voice. Plus he has a habit of droning on and on, Ben Solak style to where his voice just becomes an irritating hum that you try to tune out. Love all the other guys though. Best NFL pod today

My favorite football analysis but it’s starting to feel like Steve and Sam are sick of each other and need to fight it out like 2 brothers who have to share a room. Everything one says unnecessarily pisses the other off

I appreciate them providing time codes for the different segments. I would appreciate them more if they were accurate.

Palazollo is good, but the glee that Monson evinces when someone does badly is off-putting still.

The football content is terrific. The hosts have fallen into the trap of apparently becoming convinced they are adorable and insist on indulging themselves far too often. ‘Hey Siri go forward three minutes.’ is a phrase I use a lot.

This is without a doubt my favorite football podcast when Sam and Steve are hosting. It’s also very good when someone like Brad has to fill in for one of the usual hosts. But I’m sorry Trevor Sikkema is utterly unlistenable. Please stop having him on the podcast.

Lots of folks these days hide behind “experience” to mask their ignorance of how both the game and team building have evolved. These guys KNOW. Amazing stuff.

The injury show was probably the most interesting off season show I’ve heard. Great job by the guest and can the NY Giants please hire him… 😂

This has helped me understand what PFF is trying to accomplish and how they go about scoring plays. It’s helped frame the conversation about analytics better for me!

You guys should try to solve a puzzle on profootballgrid.com with the audience

The opening banter sometimes extending several excruciating minutes, on their golf games or whatever else is unnecessary and uninteresting. Stick to football that’s why we’re here nobody cares what you did over the weekend or what your golf score is.

This show is the best to listen while you work or chill. IT IS A MUST WATCH!

Love the pod. Huge fan. I’ve been listening for a long time. I really like the last pod with a QB and RB ranking, but homeboy from stock exchange wouldn’t touch deshaun Watson with a ten foot poll, and ranked Nick Chubb #1 but didn’t say a single thing about why. Why is nick chubb the quiet number one? Why doesn’t anyone give him the props?! Huge browns fan here, hate Watson, wish we had the picks back, but Chubb definitely didn’t get his due on this episode. Not a single attribute of his was mentioned. Correct this, gentleman! You both agreed he was number one, but not a word about his game. A shame.

… First of all, the show is truly great. I’m a legitimate NFL draft enthusiast and this show is remarkably informative, well-researched, and stat meaty. The Hosts are bright, fair, and wrong less often than other draft hosts, who try too hard to be provocative. It is challenging to get past Sam’s Irish accent at times, however. He sounds like an extra from The Banshees of Inisherin discussing Interior Lineman. Nevertheless, I will continue to listen and learn and probably get thirsty for a pint of store-bought Guinness.

Sam is bad at sharing, and can’t help but to repeat himself. Sam says one thing. The person opposite says something. Sam says ‘yeah but…’ then says what he already said, in a desperate to be more right. I envision a child stomping his feet yelling ‘I’m smart too!!!!!!’ It’s gotten old.

No one cares how a player compares to your size , no one cares about your failed career. No one cares the player is as small as you, stick to the stuff ppf feeds you . Hey Chris, replace these clowns with some guys who don’t talk about themselves so much
