Great podcast! Love the educational section.

The only news I trust
I can’t even tell where she falls on the political spectrum because she gives the facts as they are without the side commentary that typical news outlets give. She explains everything in great detail, uses direct quotes from lawmakers or laws themselves depending on what the topic is. We need more news sources like this one!

Worth the listen
For a long while, I took a break from the news. It was so hard to determine what was actually true and what was being instigated by the media. I hated being out of the loop of what was going on, but I felt like there weren’t any sources I could trust. I’m not sure how I found UNBIASED, but I figured I’d give the podcast a try, and I am so glad I did. Jordan recaps on all kinds of events, keeping me in the loop, while all of her opinions are left out. She gives a broader understanding of what’s going on, what certain laws entail, and provides downright facts. If she’s unsure about something, she’s honest about it and continues doing research so she can report to the best of her ability. Then, at the end of her episodes, she encourages her listeners to do critical thinking and look at things from a different perspective. To me, that shows that she is truly for the people. Intelligent, clear spoken, and completely unbiased. Thank you for all of your hard work!!!!!

Keeps me sane
It's not about who is right. It's about what is right. This pod helps me take a step back and not get caught up in taking the side I lean toward. Avoiding the criticism, defensiveness, and contempt and having compassion and empathy for all sides of a situation is the only way. Thank you Jordan!

Some Proof
My “go-to” podcast. I’ve listened to Jordan for a long time. She and the WSJ keep me as informed as I think I need to be regarding politics. Regarding “bias”: my wife, who is a staunch Republican, thinks Jordan leans too far left; my daughter, who is a staunch Democrat, thinks Jordan leans too far right. Neither will listen to her because of this. Personally, I consider this as validation that Jordan is about as unbiased as one can be.

Enlightening!!
Thank you so much for this podcast!! I really value having non partisan news especially when the world is so polar. I found you during the trump biden presidential debates while on reels and have been listening to your podcast ever since. This podcast constantly makes me check my on biases. I often scroll instagram or talk to my friends and commonly hear incorrect information that I'm able to pick out and debunk do to this podcast! Thank you for all the research and time you put into this, you are a wonderful explainer and so eloquent!

Unbiased
I enjoy this podcast and rarely miss them. But she still has a habit of talking, which makes me wonder if she really believes what she is speaking of. So many of her comments sound like questions.

Peace Talks are terrible
I’ve loved this podcast for truly unbiased news. The “peace talk” segment is awful and not unbiased. Please remove it from this pod.

Appreciate your work
Truly unbiased! I use episodes for homeschooling current events segments. THANK YOU!

Recommend for my University students
I teach political science at the University level and I feel it’s very important to not indoctrinate my students. Many of them have asked me over the years for an unbiased source and I never had one. I am normally very good at inferring one’s political leanings but Jordan does the best job at laying out the facts in a fair way. Now I actually put this podcast on my syllabus. Never thought I’d do that!

Bias News
Well the title of the show has “unbiased” in it. Language and phrases tells listeners how Berman leans and the facts she leave out tell me: 1) She is trying to portray a bias or 2) She isn’t investigating very hard….I don’t think it’s 2 because an educated person should understand laws and the constitution.

Unethical
I used to really appreciate this podcast because it felt genuinely balanced and focused on breaking down complex political topics in a clear and fair way. But over the past year, the tone has noticeably shifted. What concerns me is less which way the content now leans, and more how the framing has become uneven. There is consistently far more context added to explain and normalize right-leaning viewpoints, while left-leaning perspectives are presented with much less background or nuance. This creates a clear asymmetry, even if unintended. What makes this more troubling is that Jordan continues to brand herself as “unbiased,” and criticism is often dismissed with the idea that people only feel it’s biased if they lean too far to one side. For me, this isn’t about my personal politics, it’s about ethical transparency. Every creator has a bias, and that’s okay, but it should be acknowledged. Saying “I’m unbiased” while selectively providing context for one side and not the other is misleading, whether intentional or not.

Learning so much!
This podcast is so good! Truly unbiased and easy to understand. I’m learning more about how our court systems work than I ever did in school - and I have a Master’s degree! Great work Jordan. I have literally been telling everyone to listen.

I absolutely love this podcast! I found her during the election and have been looking forward to my daily walks ever since! Understand that she is doing 2 days a week now and I will take what she can give! Any chance I have to share with a family member or friend, I do. Last week my mom and I had an hour drive and I put on the latest episode. At the end my mom said WOW she really breaks things down and makes it easy to understand! My dad has also become a fan after trapping him in the car for an episode. I love that she doesn’t seem to be pushing an agenda, we don’t know what her political beliefs are, she tells both sides and encourages the listeners to consider the “other side” during her critical thinking segment. It’s not a doom and gloom newscast, it’s a here is what happened this week and why or why not it may or may not be legal based on written law and not her opinion. This is a news driven podcaster that gets it!!

Teaches us to think for ourselves
I love the Critical Thinking segment Jordan does. While reading a book on moral psychology, my eyes were opened to the differences between the moral values of Republicans and Democrats, each believing that their side is the just side. What they have in common is the inability (or lack of want) to really consider and find evidence to support the other side’s claims, instead relying on confirmation bias to find evidence to what they already believe. Pursuing the truth and understanding requires building arguments for the other side, and that is what Jordan asks of us in the Critical Thinking segment. Thank you, Jordan, for making us better humans!

So informative
I love how Jordan breaks down every topic with very clear and easy to understand explanations. I feel like I am getting the whole story when I listen to Unbiased.

Bias is showing,
Bias is starting to show when you call (repeatedly in podcasts) President Trump , “Trump” but always refer to the former Presidents as President Biden or President Obama. It sounds very disrespectful calling our current President just “Trump” (most of the time) along with the tone of your voice saying “Trump”. We used to not be able to tell which way you leaned. When speaking of Newsom, he is also referred to as Governor Newsom. It’s just odd to not call the current President by his full title.

Professionally unbiased
I very much appreciate this high quality information source among my quiver of national news media. The up to date topics and information presented are not only presented and explained in a knowledgeable professional manner but also unbiased as the show title states. Reasonable people know that the daily news is…. Well, usually bad news and not always going to be personally appeasing. The legal system and its procedures exist in this country for a reason and are clearly defined. Like it or not. I suggest those leaving poor reviews then citing NPR or BBC should really question exactly many qualified legal professionals those particular outlets are presented by? I myself will take the word of a an actual law school graduate and legal lawyer. Thank you.

Good idea, inconsistent delivery
This show has a great premise and is much better than most of the other options out there to get news updates without the lean to the left or right. The issue I have is the inconsistency on delivery and product. The show is scheduled for two days a week, but some weeks the episode comes out a day late or canceled for a holiday. Why is it that if Monday is a holiday there is no episode, yet some weeks without a holiday the show doesn’t come out till Tuesday??? Consistency in other programs is much better although I like the content here. Lastly the “critical thinking” is a waste of time. First, it is just a rehash of something from earlier in the show which is a waste. Secondly, it presents ideas as if we are all kindergarten students; “What does this mean to the person on the other side?” This show would be better if this wasn’t included and things like the good news stories or rumor has it section were used in place of this. I’ve given the show three stars because the content and idea are great, just lacks execution. Hopefully someone can completely execute on this idea, it would be a hit.

Growth mindset needed.
You have to listen with an open ear, a closed mouth & a growth mindset in order to comprehend the facts. Jordan takes questions from her audience and breaks them down. What is factual? what is opinion? What is logical? You must understand how to read & write rhetorically in order to criticize the author. She doesn’t giver her own opinion but she will give you probability of things that could happen based on the law. She does also go into detail of history affecting our future.

Definitely right leaning
I wish this wasn’t marketed as unbiased because it’s not a bad podcast but it’s far from unbiased. Jordan picks and chooses parts of stories that favor her bias. Ofc it’s impossible to be truly unbiased but there’s other pods like BBC and NPR that do it better than this podcast.

All facts not bias
Love that there is a place to get the facts, not the bias. Thank you Jordan for your commitment to truth.

Great listen!
A must listen podcast. News updates without the frills, name calling, and drama. Jordan is level headed and explains what’s going on behind the story. I learn a lot by listening and admire her calm demeanor.

Hmmm
Been listening for a bit, this seems to be more and more right leaning these days. Certainly not unbiased.

What happened?
Used to be good, but now it’s just an inconsistent MAGA rationalization aka “sanewashing” podcast. While context is important for everything, the podcast essentially takes a controversial topic, rationalizes it for Trump, adds “context” and uses literal TikTok videos to juxtapose what’s being said as the “liberal slant” and then tries to calm the issue down by pointing out what some nut on social media is saying. Actual unbiased news would use what democratic and liberal politicians and reputable sources are saying and add what MAGA/republicans and reputable sources are saying and leave it at that. When the comparison is always some wack job on TikTok vs the Trump administration, you know full well she’s got an agenda and isn’t actually researching or listening to legitimate opposing viewpoints. It used to be 4 days with some misses, then it’s 2 days with still some misses. She’s stated that she has an intern but can’t trust anyone to fill in for her during absences so every time that happens, I have to search for another news podcast (which fortunately led me to the much more even keeled WSJ pod). Also, far too much time is spent explaining what is going to be explained before explaining it. Just say the thing, man, my word! Finally, the mispronouncing of numerous names and words is crazy. eT cetera not eck cetera eSpecially not expecially Gee-len Maxwell not jizz-lane EN-vidia not NUH-vidia Crime-ee-uh not crimeee-ah Lav-rov not lay-ver-ove Sayer-gay not sar-jay

I am a relatively new listener, but I am a fan so far. I looked through the ratings and was amused by some of the unfavorable reviews. They reveal more about the reviewers than the podcast. Some of us are unable to appreciate anything but an echo chamber. As human beings it is nearly impossible to be unbiased. Although from my listening so far, it sounds like you’re doing a commendable job. Please don’t, as some reviews suggest, add a cohost to give point counterpoint. That would make you just like all the other Talking Heads. Keep up the good work.

Truly UNbiased!!!
All the stars, for sure! Jordan is awesome. I have no idea how she finds the information in a location that isn’t completely slanted one way or the other! She’s my only source of news. When she starts with something like “let’s talk about this latest thing in the news…” I’m thinking “I’m going to learn what’s going on in the world now.” Seriously, I consume no other news! My hubby or daughter might say something once in a while, but it’s rare. Thank you, Jordan. I’d be lost without you. Like I was before I found you. I don’t know where you find the time, but please keep up the excellent work!

Clarity in the Chaos✨
If you're tired of the endless noise & partisan spin in today's media, Jordan's 'UNBIASED Politics' is an absolute game-changer. Her commitment to delivering the facts without a filter is incredibly refreshing & truly vital. I've personally relied on this podcast to cut through the chaos & genuinely help me understand what's happening, especially during intense times like the last election. Jordan doesn't tell you what to think; she gives you the tools to think for yourself, which is so empowering. This isn't 'news for clicks' – it's 'news for clarity,' & it's essential listening for anyone who wants to be truly informed. Huge fan & so grateful for this invaluable resource!

Seem to be becoming less unbiased
I found this useful and informative for a while but it just seemed to be getting less and less unbiased. This is probably petty but it seemed like the host didn’t bother learning how key names and topics are pronounced. “Jizz-lane” Maxwell was what pushed me to unsubscribe.

Finally somewhere to get more informed about what’s happening in our country without bias. I love this podcast. Jordan does a good job not just going over the current political headlines but diving deeper so you can understand what is happening and form your own educated opinion. Can’t wait to watch Jordan’s career continue to grow!

Awesome Content
Jordan is an awesome place to get your news. You really can’t tell which side of the aisle she sits on. She is a disciplined content provider, who only gives the facts that she has access to and if she has to speculate she makes that known. I enjoy listening to her regularly. I really enjoyed her three parts series on the branches of the government. I highly recommend Adding her to your subscriptions for podcasting.

Refreshing Take in a Divisive Media Landscape
Jordan truly delivers what so many news outlets claim to but rarely achieve: unbiased, in-depth legal analysis. She doesn’t regurgitate emotionally charged headlines or spin narratives to fit a particular agenda. Instead, she breaks down complex legal issues with clarity and fairness, giving listeners the tools to form their own opinions. What’s especially frustrating is seeing one-star reviews accuse this podcast of “leaning right” simply because it doesn’t lean left. That’s very telling. If a neutral, fact-based analysis feels too conservative to you, maybe it’s not the podcast that needs rebalancing—maybe it’s your perspective. The middle isn’t meant to make you feel comfortable; it’s meant to challenge assumptions on both sides. Let’s be clear: explaining or analyzing a political figure or administration is not the same as endorsing them. That’s literally the point of being unbiased. If you’re looking for a podcast that exists solely to critique your political opponents or validate your worldview, this isn’t it. Jordan isn’t here to confirm your biases—she’s here to challenge them with facts. In an era where outrage has become a substitute for understanding, this podcast is a breath of fresh air. It encourages independent thought, not tribal loyalty. Highly recommend for anyone who values clarity over noise and wants to think for themselves.

No longer unbiased
In a recent episode, her response to the “Rumor Has It” segment about the "Big Beautiful Bill" was, at best, irresponsible and, at worst, deliberately confusing. Dismissing a legitimate concern about the bill simply because she couldn’t find specific wording in the text was not only unhelpful but also nonsensical. The analysis lacked any meaningful insight, and every response conveniently aligned with the administration’s stance. When she included a segment on the latest State of the Union address, casually saying, “this is probably what he meant,” in response to the President’s outlandish comments, I saw clear red flags. But it was when she used a simple CTRL-F search through the bill as her sole method of interpretation that I felt the podcast could no longer claim to be “unbiased.” This is a shame. When Unbiased News first launched, it seemed like she was genuinely aiming for fairness. But now, all that credibility is gone. The term "Unbiased Politics" is, frankly, an oxymoron at this point.

Love the show
You may want to check the accuracy of a statement you made about the difference between criminal and civil actions. If I understood you correctly you said that speeding was not a criminal act but a civil act. In Georgia, if you are cited for speeding, you have broken a law and therefore it’s a criminal act. It’s prosecuted by the county prosecutor and must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt just like any other crime. I love your show and listen to every one! You do a great job of reporting the facts without opinion. Keep up the good work!

Sanewashing this administration is crazy work. Reporting the facts in an unbiased manner is one thing, presenting it as normal is dangerous rhetoric.

Love the 5 min recaps
I don’t always have the time or emotional capacity with everything going on the last 6 months. I want to stay informed without spiraling into information overload. Jordan’s Unbiased Podcast is exactly what I need. It’s clear, quick, and cuts through the noise. In just 5 minutes, I feel updated, balanced, and more in control. I trust Jordan’s take because she does the digging for both sides so I don’t have to. It’s efficient, honest, and exactly what news should be. What’s not to love? Thank you, Jordan!

Selective information
I’m aware of my personal stance on various topics. Listening to the unbiased politics gives me the insight of what the other side focuses on. Somehow, it’s comforting to know that the other side is calm (or pretending they are calm).

Detailed but Trumpist
Selective news stories focused on Trump and using a light version of his rhetoric. Trump focused, Trump normalizing, very biased and sneaky. I appreciate her long form detail but she is either pandering to her audience or genuinely Right biased.

Love the new 5 minute recaps!
It’s so nice to have a bite sized chunk of news with the option to go back to the full episode for full details if desired. Also, in general, this podcast really does feel unbiased which is a rarity in today’s world and I really appreciate how she takes the time to dig through all the rumors and give us just the facts.

Not Unbiased
The facts that you choose to leave out and the words that you choose show clear bias. I used to listen all the time but as the bias has become more clear it’s difficult to get through even these shortened episodes. You say the people who listen to your podcast think you are unbiased and it’s those who don’t who give you bad reviews (I guess on TikTok and IG) but reading these recent reviews shows I’m not alone.

Not for the snowflakes
Completely unbiased reporting wether you like what you hear or not. If you just want to hear “your side” of things then this isn’t for you. You need to have an open mind and not just be filled with so much hatred for one side or the other that you refuse to hear actual facts. Personally I love it. Gives me facts plain and simple, then I can form my own opinions based on those facts not feelings.
