BUT it happens several times every episode and gets me irrationally triggered more and more. It’s that idiot with the weird giggle. That sound of it got old really fast… and the things he laughs at are often humorous but far from hilarious. Other than that, a fantastic listen for baseball fans. A lot of inside-baseball talk, but easy enough for casual fans to not feel left out. Very much sounds like a conversation between friends and easy to try to add to the conversation while forgetting they can’t hear you.

One of the people this has nothing to do with but maybe this will help spread the word cuz this guy embarrasses everyone that works at jomboy media . Kyle Kondors burner @playoffbruns is on a generational run of embarrassment, harassing fans and claiming he’s untouchable . Guy needs to be dealt with .

Excellent fun and intelligent baseball banter on a daily basis during the season. Great weekly shows in the offseason to bring some hope to the dreary winter weather!

Nice. Your Schtick is slick. Just so you know there is a major river in the USA… and, actually another part of the country that actually plays sports west of said river. As a female baseball fan I truly love this show and Chris and Trevor’s takes on all things baseball. Such a great show!! Go Pads!

It’s a rare mix that is smart about the subject while avoiding smugness or extreme takes. Can tell the guys are #gooddudes. But I wonder every time: why does Rosey’s mic sound like such s—-? It’s all tinny like he’s using the computer mic? You’re a big deal, Chris, can’t be sounding worse than random YouTubers!

Interesting and entertaining commentary. Rose is prone to dramatic rants. Otherwise, it’s a great listen.

This podcast is a must listen for me while I’m out driving delivering packages. I appreciate they love their teams while also expressing love for other teams, players, and the game. Their chemistry is one of the best, if not the best. Give them a chance if you’re looking for something new!

Should not be rated clean. the 5/13 episode had about 5 F-bombs, including one MFer. i wonder if this is how they talk around their home/family. I often play podcasts in the car, at home, with others around and this language is not suitable for that. it’s completely unnecessary and takes away from otherwise good content. Grow up guys!

Trevor’s audio cuts out repeatedly

Dodgers needed Sasaki because they let their only two healthy starters Buelher and Flaherty walk. They have legends and myths like Kershaw Ohthani Yaninato and now Sasaki but no one who threw 140 innings last year. Their best move was signing Conforto who anyone could have signed. You forget the Dodgers were dismissed entering as not having enough pitching and had to basically forfeit Game 4 of World Series because they had no pitching.

I listen to this podcast because my husband always plays it in the car. Great content but took off a star because we keep having to change the volume. Trevor talks so quiet and Chris talks so loud… could you please adjust the audio levels in post?

A lot of podcasts get caught up in the numbers, making it difficult for casual/new fans to enjoy good baseball topics. I love Baseball Today for its easy to digest information and two high quality characters in Rosey and Coach Trev. If there is one baseball podcast you catch daily, it should be this one!

Not sure what happened, but there’s noticeable tension between Trev & Rose the last cpl weeks. Almost every question Rose asks Trev gets a dismissive or even antagonistic reply. Not sure what has gone on behind the scenes, but it’s getting hard to listen to.

The combination of Chris’s professionalism and Trevor’s insight creates an incredible dynamic in this podcast. When you listen to other podcasts, you suddenly realize how much Chris’s experience improves the quality and efficiency of the discussion. Fantastic job guys!

As much as I love Talkin’ Baseball and Wake n Jake, I think Baseball Today is the bes show in the Jomboy network. Rose brings his professionalism and experience to create a well-oiled machine. He’s the engine that drives this show, and he makes sure it’s tight and moves along, but he also allows time for banter that lets their personalities shine. Great show, but I have one TINY nitpick. It kinda irks me the way Rose says “Producer Dan along for the ride.” That makes Dan sound inconsequential and like he’s just lucky to be there. The producer is incredibly important, especially on a format like this that has a tight timeline and a ton of video clips. I know Rose wouldn’t purposely diminish what Dan does for the show, but I’ve worked in media for my whole adult life and it always kinda hits my ear wrong when he says the producer is just “along for the ride.” Again, tiny nitpick. Fantastic show. Thank you, gentlemen!

Chris and Trevor, indeed, offer great commentary on baseball news and current events; however, the foul language of excrement is a bit much. Baseball talk can be family friendly. Someone once said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Thank you, gentlemen.

This is easily my favorite baseball podcast. Great chemistry between Chris Rose and Trevor Ploufe make the show so good. And Jolly is a fun addition when he’s on.

Chris Rose ruins this show, as someone who originally listened everyday, it’s impossible to get through an episode.

This has become my favorite baseball podcast. Chris and Trevor are knowledgable, engaging, and authentic. They offer a good balance of criticism and highlights. The show is also a good length, and stays on the topic of baseball. They also always explain any visuals for audio only listeners. Recommended for all MLB fans.

I’ve listened to other baseball podcasts like Talking Baseball and Baseball is Dead. While I like them too, this one is the best one-stop shop for baseball podcasts for a time-conscious listener. I like how it’s short and sweet and Chris and Trevor still manage to give some good insight on current baseball happenings and highlight important games and series. Great work!
