EDC?
You lost me in the first few minutes when you didn’t mention firearms. The concept of EDC originated in the firearm community.

The Host makes this hard to listen to…
The content is okay and of course anyone who loves Ham Radio wants to listen. However the Uh Um Um and drawn out lengthy questions to make them seem more important makes this show overbearing. Hate to tell the truth but it needs a new host.

Thanks for this Program
I have used CB Radio back in 1980 though 1987 or so, but now I want to get my Ham Radio license and I think this is going to give me that Boost to get it done.
I have already talk to my wife and I have radios pick out that I like .
Really want to start on the 10 Meter Band and work my way from there .
I sure do enjoy listening to this Podcast and looking forward to learn everything that I can about the Hobby.
I will be 57 years old this year and I think I’m going to enjoy this very much in my Retirement years for Sure.
Thanks again guys for all this New Information.

Very Informative!!!
I finally found the podcast I’ve been searching for! I learned so much more useful information in 10 minutes from this podcast than a hundred hours of listening to other HAM podcasts.
The audio examples and explanations are exactly what I needed!

Good Addition
This is another great addition to the variety of learning and information resources the ARRL has made available this year. Between the various magazines, newsletters and podcasts, there is something valuable for everyone.

newham here
New to ham radio. As usual, the old hams have to complain but offer no alternative . I happen to find this show extremely helpful. Keep up the good work!

Poor start
First two episodes were a waste simply repeating what was already in the magazine. Third episode was a little better with one very short and one longer expansion of two articles in the magazine. More content please or don’t bother.

Good format
What a podcast should be. Digestible information for the audience it targets. I'm glad ARRL is addressing the needs of new and intermediate hams. Becky does a great job presenting the gamut of amateur radio interests.

Really hope this gets better
ARRL dropped two podcasts for this? The tone between sections reminds me of watching film strips with a cassette playing in the background (advance now.) The first episode was an incredibly long-winded description of the upcoming magazine without the depth of content the former podcasts. An 11 minute commercial with little substance. I really hope it gets better.
