At first glance his guests appear to be well educated leaders in their field. Yet so many are pushing a book, supplement, or other product. For the episode on mouthwash negating the effects of exercise, the premise is absurd and no conclusions can be drawn from a study with an n of 23. The title is aimed at getting people to listen to an interview about what amounts to junk science. And if you don't know any better you might very well adjust your habits to align with this spurious claim. He has gone from being a well prepared interviewer of thought leaders to a co-conspirator in the sales and promotion of other people's wares.

No, fluoride doesn’t “reverse the effects of exercise.” That statement ALONE should be setting off everyone’s Grifter Alarm!

Some good interviews but the click bait titles make it hard to find the ones worth listening to.

Hi Steven, have you ever asked a guest why we (“United States” corporation) continues to go into countries who are not part of the central banking system??? we continue to find reasons why their government leaders are bad or a threat… and it’s more then coincidental, that after the leaders are changed they become part of the central banking system… there are only a couple countries left without one, and the (US Corp) continues to go to war with them one at a time taking them down! Could Iran be one that currently does not part take? How about the last few leader we have taken out!? You’re a smart guy, now open your mind and ask if what I say is true? ✌🏼

Clearly biased guest and perspective

I’ve been listening to the podcast for a while—very well done. I came to it for health interviews, as a retired, burnt out executive, who regained my health and fitness through whole foods, keto, bio-hacking, etc., but I have come to enjoy the wide-ranging topics on leadership, financial independence, faith, etc. I was compelled to write a review after listening to JL Collins’s interview. So good. As the interview wrapped, JL shared his thoughts on the afterlife, which broke my heart. So much wisdom in this great man, but sadly disconnected from God. This interview stood in stark contrast to the interview of Wes Huff. Regardless of my opinion on the views of those interviewed, I deeply admire the courage and willingness to probe such deep issues on this podcast. Keep up the great work!

An episode with "the world's no. 1 Christianity expert," who happens to be a PhD candidate from an obscure think tank in Canada who doesn't believe in evolution? Come on, man. You're a terrific interviewer but there is no need for this sort of hyperbole, and your oversimplification doe a grave injustice to a rich, complex topic.

Concerning takes from both host and some guests regarding what is to be done about the birth rate (AKA women not having children with undesirable partners.) Host frequently attempts to mutilate the findings of some scientists to suit his very obvious biases and worldview. Poor journalism.

Really love this podcast. If it wasn’t for the cringey title names I’d say it’s my number one. Steven has great conversations!

Caught parts of recent interview on Iran. Clear as day the host is an intelligence plant. Neuroscience - My first time listening to this podcaster. The host attempted to correlate Islam with suicide bombs and 9/11 as examples of religion gone rogue. Questionable examples to begin with but a clear continuation of the demonization Muslims already face from western propaganda. Either the host has a bias, conscious or subconscious, or is propagandist. The substantive and devastatingly sharp examples of Jewish ethnosupremacy or the savagery of Christian colonialism would have been better fitting for the context but of course avoided.

Three biggest questions of Trump’s war against Iran: 1) Did Israel war criminal Netanyahu force a weak Trump to bomb Iran? 2) Did compromised Trump bomb Iran to help Putin with oil revenues & Russia’s war against Ukraine? 3) Did yet another Republican President force US into Middle East war by manufacturing false evidence, or to distract from Epstein sexual abuse that incriminates Trump?

I have really enjoyed many of the shows, on a broad variety of topics, from parenting to finance to religion. Steven’s questions are well thought out, and I appreciate that he makes the topic approachable regardless of the listener’s knowledge level with the questions. The last one with Wes Huff made me want to write this review though…thank you for bringing him on and letting him share the Gospel with you and us! I’d love to see an extended version of this one in particular, because I bet there was a lot of good stuff left on the cutting room floor. Keep up the great work!

Don’t take Huff’s comments as entirely representative of Christianity. The standard teachings about hell are off-putting. Study Universalism. Read David Bentley Hart. Keep exploring.

While some episodes are very informative, educational and fascinating, others like the pregnancy nutrition one is not credible and fosters clickbait and misinformation. Steven, you have an impactful platform and I encourage you to check your quality and also your integrity in terms of posting short form videos when you know they are harmful!

Generally love these podcasts, however I wish Steve would interview people from both sides of the political aisle. Joe Rogan does this much better. Bring on people from both sides rather than leaning heavily in one direction. I love podcasts to get away from CNN and Fox News. Unfortunately this podcast feels like just an extension of CNN when it strays away from business topics.

I love many of the podcast episodes, however Steven and many of his chosen guests clearly dislike trump so strongly he tries to push false ideas about him to his listeners. Disappointing to hear such bias throughout such important topics

I feel so much smarter from listening. Stephen is authentic and asks the hard questions from a place of genuine curiosity and wanting to help the listeners. There are so many episodes that have helped me learn, rethink, question, and grow. Thank you to the DOAC team for all of your incredible work. I agree with others on the titles - they’re SEO optimized and not always the greatest… there are many episodes I passed over at first due to the titles being unclear or odd… I have found every episode I passed over initially and returned to to be helpful and deep. I recommend doing a quick search on the guest if the title feels off putting.

In the end, the show is slumbering, slow and vapid. Density of useful information is exceptionally low because the host cannot be brought to ask good questions or to edit out the exorbitant amount of fat. A real CEO would move things a lot faster and take about one-fifth the time to cover about 10 times as much ground. And, that’s why the shows are long: they’re not designed to edify you but to enrich the CEO by maintaining “engagement” for advertisers. Skip this show and find a podcaster that respects your time.

Thank you for the amazing info you are making available. I will be 77 this year and your podcasts have helped me immeasurably to turn back the clock on my brain & body's health. I have a 14 year old granddaughter and beg you to do a short version of the Brain Rot episode. wtf did I just listen to? 🤨 this is absolute garbage. Don’t waste your time.

Steven has done an incredible job building an empire through thoughtful conversations with truly interesting people. Only thing I would change is that he stop using the click-bait headlines written for the episodes. I’m sure they’re optimized for maximum interest by browsing eyes but he’s successful enough now to not have the juvenile over-use of exclamation points in the titles. Some titles are also misleading and often miss the deeper point of the interview, all in the name of getting a shocking reaction when someone reads it. Again I’m sure this is to optimize for YouTube and all that but he’s already got a strong brand and is at the point he should be able to level up his standard.

A non-biased podcast with a wide range of guests varying from very informative to leisure listening. Coupled with high-quality audio/editing. Would highly recommend.
