If you are like us, you often feel unable to relate to hunting shows telling you to hunt food sources in late season as you watch someone hunt over a standing crop field in frigid temperatures. Many hunters don’t hunt in an area that allows them to hunt near destination food sources like that or even in cold weather. So finding a good food source that deer pile into when it gets cold isn’t that easy. We have also found that targeting food sources during the late season isn’t the only way to hunt heavily pressured areas.
