At the command of Brahma (the creator), Indra, the ruler of gods, goes to Lanka with Nidra and offers a heavenly menu in the form of milk boiled with rice and sugar to Sita.

Note: There is one Sarga associated with the 56th Sarga titled Prakshiptasarga which talks about Indra going to Lanka to help Mother Seetha by giving her the divine kheer/payasam so that she doesn't have to partake food at Lanka. The Mulashlokas are missing in the recordings of this episode. So we are posting only the translation of that event.
